      • Innovation of Development Model for Health-Preserving Tourism in Yunnan Province, China

        The development of health-preserving tourism has become a new trend in the tourism industry, and it has played an important role in promoting social and economic development. Yunnan Province, located in southwestern China, has abundant tourism resources and a long history of traditional medicine and health preservation practices. In recent years, Yunnan Province has made significant efforts to develop health-preserving tourism, and it has achieved remarkable results. However, there are still challenges that need to be addressed, such as the lack of innovation in the development model and the need for better integration of traditional medicine and modern medical practices. This paper aims to explore the innovation of the development model for health-preserving tourism in Yunnan Province. The innovative development model for health-preserving tourism in Yunnan Province should focus on three key areas: product development, marketing, and supporting services. In terms of product development, Yunnan Province should focus on the integration of traditional medicine and modern medical practices to develop new health-preserving tourism products that meet the needs of different tourists. In terms of marketing, Yunnan Province should strengthen its brand image and develop targeted marketing strategies to attract different types of tourists. In terms of supporting services, Yunnan Province should improve the quality of tourism services and infrastructure, such as transportation, accommodation, and medical facilities. The innovation of the development model for health-preserving tourism in Yunnan Province has significant implications for the tourism industry and the local economy. The findings of this study provide insights for policymakers, industry practitioners, and researchers to promote the sustainable development of health-preserving tourism in Yunnan Province and other regions.

        Signal injection method without torque ripple for stator winding temperature estimation of surface-mounted PMSM drive systems

        A signal injection method without torque ripple is presented to estimate the stator winding temperature of a surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM), where the temperature is estimated based on the stator resistance. First, the current signal (Δi<sub>d<sup>*</sup></sub>) is injected into the current control loop to produce DC current offsets used to calculate the stator resistance, where the injected signal cannot lead to extra torque ripple. Then the temperature can be obtained based on the relationship between the stator winding temperature and the stator resistance. Finally, the proposed method is validated by simulation and experimental results. In addition, no extra equipment is needed for the proposed method.

        A new method for safety classifi cation of structures, systems and components by refl ecting nuclear reactor operating history into importance measures

        Risk-informed safety classification of structures, systems and components (SSCs) is very important forensuring the safety and economic efficiency of nuclear power plants (NPPs). However, previous methodsfor safety classification of SSCs do not take the plant operating modes or the operational process of SSCsinto consideration, thus cannot concentrate on the safety and economic efficiency accurately. In thiscontribution, a new method for safety classification of SSCs based on the categorization of plant operating modes is proposed, which considers the NPPs operating history to improve the economic efficiencies while maintaining the safety. According to the time duration of plant configurations in plantoperating modes, average importances of SSCs are accessed for an NPP considering the operationalprocess, and then safety classification of SSCs is performed for plant operating modes. The correctnessand effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by application in an NPP's safety classificationof SSCs

      • Resveratrol Affects Protein Kinase C Activity and Promotes Apoptosis in Human Colon Carcinoma Cells

        Background: Resveratrol has been reported to have potential chemopreventive and apoptosis-inducing properties in a variety of tumor cell lines. Objective: In this study, to investigate the effects of resveratrol on protein kinase C (PKC) activity and apoptosis in human colon carcinoma cells, we used HT-29 cells and examined the $PKC{\alpha}$ and ERK1/2 signaling pathways. Methods: To test the effects of resveratrol on the growth of HT-29 cells, the cells were exposed to varying concentrations and assessed with the the MTT cell-viability assay. Fluorescence-activated cell sorter (FACS) analysis was applieded to determine the effects of resveratrol on cell apoptosis. Western blotting was performed to determine the protein levels of $PKC{\alpha}$ and ERK1/2. In inhibition experiments, HT-29 cells were treated with G$\ddot{o}$6976 or PD98059 for 30 min, followed by exposure to $200{\mu}M$ resveratrol for 72 h. Results: Resveratrol had a significant inhibitory effect on HT-29 cell growth. FACS revealed that resveratrol induced apoptosis. Western blotting showed that e phosphorylation of $PKC{\alpha}$ and ERK1/2 was significantly increased in response to resveratrol treatment. Pre-treatment with $PKC{\alpha}$ and ERK1/2 inhibitors (G$\ddot{o}$6976 and PD98059) promoted apoptosis. Conclusion: Resveratrol has significant anti-proliferative effects on the colon cancer cell line HT-29. The PKC-ERK1/2 signaling pathway can partially mediate resveratrol-induced apoptosis of HT-29 cells.

        Development of a Molecular Marker for Fruiting Body Pattern in Auricularia auricula-judae

        The fruiting body pattern is an important agronomic trait of the edible fungus Auricularia auricula-judae, and an important breeding target. There are two types of fruiting body pattern: the cluster type and the chrysanthemum type. We identified the fruiting body pattern of 26 test strains, and then constructed two different near-isogenic pools. Then, we developed sequence characterized amplified region (SCAR) molecular markers associated with the fruiting body pattern based on sequence-related amplified polymorphism (SRAP) markers. Ten different bands (189-522 bp) were amplified using 153 pairs of SRAP primers. The SCAR marker “SCL-18” consisted of a single 522-bp band amplified from the cluster-type strains, but not the chrysanthemum strains. This SCAR marker was closely associated with the cluster- type fruiting body trait of A. auricula-judae. These results lay the foundation for further research to locate and clone genes controlling the fruiting body pattern of A. auricula-judae.

        Ab Initio and Experimental Studies on Dibenzothiazyl-Disulfide

        Ab initio calculations of the structure, atomic charges and natural bond orbital (NBO) have been performed at HF/6-311G** and B3LYP/6-311G** levels for the title compound of dibenzothiazyl-disulfide. The calculated results show that the two nitrogen atoms have the biggest negative charges and they are the potential sites to react with the metallic ions, which make the title compound become a di-dentate ligand. Vibrational frequencies of the title compound have been obtained and compared with the experimental value and the comparison indicates that B3LYP/6-311G** level is better than HF/6-311G** level to predict the vibrational frequencies for the system studied here. For the title compound, electronic absorption spectra calculated by time?ependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) are more accurate than Hartree-Focksingle-excitation CI (CI-Singles) method. NBO analyses show that the electronic transitions are mainly derived from the contribution of bands $\pi\rightarrow\pi^{*}$. Thermodynamic calculated results show that the formation of the title compound from 2-mercaptobenzothiazole is a spontaneous process at room temperature with the change of free Gibbs being negative value.

        Systemic Inflammatory Biomarkers, Especially Fibrinogen to Albumin Ratio, Predict Prognosis in Patients with Pancreatic Cancer

        Purpose Systemic inflammatory response is a critical factor that promotes the initiation and metastasis of malignancies including pancreatic cancer (PC). This study was designed to determine and compare the prognostic value of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), monocyte-to-lymphocyte ratio (MLR), and fibrinogen-to-albumin ratio (FAR) in resectable PC and locally advanced or metastatic PC. Materials and Methods Three hundred fifty-three patients with resectable PC and 807 patients with locally advan-ced or metastatic PC were recruited in this study. These patients were classified into a training set (n=758) and a validation set (n=402). Kaplan-Meier survival plots and Cox proportional hazards regression models were used to analyze prognosis. Results Overall survival (OS) was significantly better for patients with resectable PC with low preoperative PLR (p=0.048) and MLR (p=0.027). Low FAR, MLR, NLR (p < 0.001), and PLR (p=0.003) were significantly associated with decreased risk of death for locally advanced or metastatic PC patients. FAR (hazard ratio [HR], 1.522; 95% confidential interval [CI], 1.261 to 1.837; p < 0.001) and MLR (HR, 1.248; 95% CI, 1.017 to 1.532; p=0.034) were independent prognostic factors for locally advanced or metastatic PC. Conclusion The prognostic roles of FAR, MLR, NLR, and PLR in resectable PC and locally advanced or metastatic PC were different. FAR showed the most prognostic power in locally advanced or metastatic PC. Low FAR was positively correlated with OS in locally advanced or metastatic PC, which could be used to predict the prognosis.
