        This paper presents a method for compression hyperspectral images. A compression system built on this concept can obtain high compression rate and low information loss. Band images are extracted first from the hyperspectral data. Next these band images are stacked by order of wavelength and form a stack image, and obtain column vectors from the stack image. We transform this column vectors to obtain principal-component vectors by using PCT according to given number of principal component, and the obtained principal-component vectors become compression data. Reconstruction proceed with inverse PCT.

      • MTHFR C667T Polymorphism Association with Lung Cancer Risk in Henan Province: A Case-control Study

        The current study was performed to assess any association between the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) C677T polymorphism and risk of lung cancer in Henan province. This case-control study involved94 patients with newly histological confirmed lung cancer and 78 healthy controls. Genotyping was achieved with peripheral blood lymphocytes DNA and association of the polymorphism with risk of lung cancer was estimated by unconditional logistic regression analysis. The frequencies of the MTHFR 667TT genotype were 37.2% in cases compared with 23.1% in controls (${\chi}^2$ = 4.008, P = 0.045). Individuals with the 667CC/CT genotype displayed a significantly reduced risk of lung cancer compared with those with the TT genotypes [adjusted odds ratio (OR), 0.506; 95% confidence interval (95% CI), 0.258 - 0.991]. The C667T polymorphism might have a significant effect on the occurrence of lung cancer in Henan province.

        관광소비행태는 일반적 소비행태와 차이점을 갖는다. 관광 특성에 따른 관광재화에 대한 선택은 한 지역을 방문하여 그 재화를 목적지에서 소비하는 특성을 지니고 있다. 이러한 결과 관광재 소비의 경우 구매와 동시에 소비가 진행되는 것이 아니라 구매 후 소비라는 형태를 지니므로 관광자의 관광재 소비는 일반재화보다 더욱 큰 위험을 지각하게 된다. 다차원적인 심리적 특성들을 가지고 있는 관광자들은 자신이 원하는 상품을 구매하게 된다. 그러나 개별적 의사결정은 어느 정도 차이를 갖고 있으나 대부분은 위험을 지각했을 때 위험을 최소하는 선택합리적 구매의사결정을 한다. 본 연구는 관광목적지 선택의 위험지각과 위험지각 감소, 그리고 이들 간 관계에 관한 연구를 고찰하여 관광자가 관광지를 구매선택에 있어서 어떻게 위험지각을 하고 행동하는가를 알아보았다. 즉, 선택합리화과정을 통하여 인지적 위험을 최대한 줄이고 자신에게 맞는 상품을 선택하는데 있어서 이런 위험지각을 줄이는데 어떠한 대안을 사용하는지를 탐구하였다.

      • From Ni-YSZ to sulfur-tolerant anode materials for SOFCs: electrochemical behavior, <i>in situ</i> characterization, modeling, and future perspectives

        <P>Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) offer great promise for the most efficient and cost-effective conversion to electricity of a wide variety of fuels such as hydrocarbons, coal gas, and gasified carbonaceous solids. However, the conventional Ni-YSZ (yttria-stabilized zirconia) anode is highly susceptible to deactivation (poisoning) by contaminants commonly encountered in readily available fuels, especially sulfur-containing compounds. Thus, one of the critical challenges facing the realization of fuel-flexible and cost-effective SOFC systems is the development of sulfur-tolerant anode materials. This <I>perspective</I> article aims at providing a comprehensive review of materials that have been studied as anodes for SOFCs, the electrochemical behavior of various anode materials in H<SUB>2</SUB>S-contaminated fuels, experimental methods for <I>ex situ</I> and <I>in situ</I> characterizations of species and phases formed on anode surfaces upon exposure to H<SUB>2</SUB>S-containing fuels, mechanisms for the interactions between H<SUB>2</SUB>S and anode surfaces as predicted from density functional theory (DFT) calculations, and possible strategies of minimizing or eliminating the effect of sulfur poisoning. While significant progress has been made in developing alternative anode materials with better sulfur tolerance, in probing and mapping electrode surface species relevant to sulfur poisoning, and in unraveling the mechanisms of H<SUB>2</SUB>S–anode interactions using both computational and experimental approaches, many challenges still remain to bridge the gaps between models at different scales or between theoretical predictions and experimental observations. An important new direction for future research is to develop a predictive multi-scale (from DFT to continuum) computational framework, through a rigorous validation at each scale by carefully-designed experiments performed under <I>in situ</I> conditions, for rational design of better sulfur-tolerant anode materials and structures for a new generation of SOFCs to be powered by readily available fuels.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>A combination of experimental and theoretical approaches has unraveled the sulfur-anode interaction mechanism, which is vital to rational design of better sulfur-tolerant anode materials for SOFCs. <IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=c1ee01758f'> </P>

        The characteristics of cutting forces in the micro-milling of AISI D2 steel

        The interaction effect of parameters to surface topography and cutting forces is investigated, and the magnitudes of these parameters are determined in the micro-milling of AISI D2 steel. The results show that the feed per tooth has a prominent impact on the surface topography. Due to the low feed per tooth to cutting edge radius ratio, a high surface roughness and a high amount of burrs are obtained in micro-milling. In micro cutting, the cutting forces present are small; in addition, the radial thrust cutting forces are greater than the principal cutting forces. This research proves that the micro-milling process can be applied to the manufacturing of AISI D2 steel micro parts and presents experimental evidence and possible solutions to the cutting parameters.

        Biodegradable Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) Maxpol-T/S as Novel Scaffold for Adipose Derived Stem Cells and Fibroblast Growth In Vitro

        To explore the ability of MaxPol-T/S, a novelbiodegradable poly-lactic-co-glycolic acid(PLGA) scaffold, in providing a cell-matrix interaction interface for cell growth, we generated GFP positive adipose derived stem cell(ADSCGFP+) and fibroblasts(FCGFP+) for investigating the cellular growth on this biomaterial. The MaxPol-T/S was produced through salt-leaching/particulate-leaching technology for tissue engineering, which provides a modified surface for the best cellular attachment sites and nutrient supply and waste exchange conditions. The morphological features of MaxPol-T/S were studied with a scanning electron microscope and the ADSCGFP+ and FCGFP+ were confirmed by auto-fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry assay. Being seeded onto the MaxPol-T/S in vitro, the growth and morphology of ADSCGFP+ and FCGFP+ were further verified by auto-fluorescence microscopy and MMT test. The ADSCs and fibroblasts, expressed strong GFP signals in the cytoplasm and nucleus, adhered and proliferated on the surface of scaffold MaxPol-T/S. Both cell lines survived on the scaffold more than 21 days in vitro and formed three-dimensional colonies on the surface of the MaxPol-T. In conclusion, MaxPol-T/S is a novel PLGA scaffold for ADSCGFP+ and FCGFP+ and implies a promising technique for tissue engineering.

        Influence of FeSe doping on superconducting properties of MgB2 by hybrid microwave method

        The effect of FeSe doping on the physical properties of MgB2 is studied. Bulk samples of the FeSe doped MgB2 with weight ratio x ðFeSe : MgB2Þ ¼ 0%; 3%; 7% and 10% were prepared by hybrid microwave method. It is proved that FeSe is not stable together with MgB2. Fe2þ enters into MgB2 lattice, some Mg2þ and Se2『 are combined into the new impurity compound MgSe. The superconducting transition temperature (Tc) slightly decreased with increasing doping content of FeSe from R-T and M-T curves, which results from the substitution of Mg2þ by Fe2þ in the MgB2 lattice. The Jc increase slightly with the FeSe doping content increasing from 3 wt % to 10 wt %, which results from the increasing MgSe impurity pinning centers.

        Construction of Z-scheme W18O49/NiAl-LDH heterojunction with photothermal effect for photocatalytic reduction of CO2

        Recently, the photocatalytic CO2 reduction technology is an effective solution to remit the energy crisis. Inorder to improve the photocatalytic performance, Z-scheme W18O49/NiAl-LDH composite catalysts wereprepared by hydrothermal method. Fortunately, the prepared catalysts revealed excellent photocatalyticperformance under the simulated sunlight, and CO and CH4 could be detected in the reduction products. WO/LDH-0.5 catalyst possessed the optimal activity, with CO and CH4 yield of 37.09 and 8.01 lmol g-1h1separately, which were 7.9 and 3.6 times that of NiAl-LDH monomer. In addition, W18O49 endowedW18O49/NiAl-LDH catalysts with photothermal effect, which raised the surface temperature andfacilitated the catalytic reaction. Meanwhile, the Z-scheme heterojunction composed of flower-likeNiAl-LDH and urchin-like W18O49 accelerated the separation of photoexcited carriers and enhanced theredox ability. Through a series of characterizations and investigations, this work is promising to breaknew ground for the design of photocatalysts with photothermal effect.

      • hOGG1, p53 Genes, and Smoking Interactions are Associated with the Development of Lung Cancer

        This study aimed to investigate the effects of Ser/Cys polymorphism in hOGG1 gene, Arg/Pro polymorphism in p53 gene, smoking and their interactions on the development of lung cancer. Ser/Cys polymorphism in hOGG1 and Arg/Pro polymorphism in p53 among 124 patients with lung cancer and 128 normal people were detected using PCR-RFLP. At the same time, smoking status was investigated between the two groups. Logistic regression was used to estimate the effects of Ser/Cys polymorphism and Arg/Pro polymorphisms, smoking and their interactions on the development of lung cancer. ORs (95% CI) of smoking, hOGG1 Cys/Cys and p53 Pro/Pro genotypes were 2.34 (1.41-3.88), 2.12 (1.03-4.39), and 2.12 (1.15-3.94), respectively. The interaction model of smoking and Cys/Cys was super-multiplicative or multiplicative, and the OR (95% CI) for their interaction item was 1.67 (0.36 -7.78). The interaction model of smoking and Pro/Pro was super-multiplicative with an OR (95%CI) of their interaction item of 5.03 (1.26-20.1). The interaction model of Pro/Pro and Cys/Cys was multiplicative and the OR (95%CI) of their interaction item was 0.99 (0.19-5.28). Smoking, hOGG1 Cys/Cys, p53 Pro/Pro and their interactions may be the important factors leading to the development of lung cancer.

        사회 ; 중국의 돼지고기 안전성 가치평가

        본 논문에서 중국의 돼지고기 안전성 속성에 대한 가치평가를 목적으로, 선택형실험 설문을 통한 자료와 컨조인트분석을 이용하여, 각 속성별 부분가치효용을 추정한 다음 지불의사금액을 도출하였다.「속성」은 상품의 가치를 결정하는 요인이고, 그 속성이 어떻게 구성되어 있는지를 구체적인 단어나 수치로 표현한 것이「수준」인데, 본 논문에서는 ①「안전성 인증표시」, ②「사료첨가제」, ③「잔류 항생제 성분」, ④「등급」, ⑤「500g당 가격」등 5개의 속성을 설정하였고, 각 속성별로 ①에는 HACCP, 녹색식품 인증, 생산농장 표시, ②에는 사용, 미사용, ③에는 있음, 없음, ④에는 고급육과 보통육, ⑤에는 8위엔, 10위엔, 12위엔, 14위엔 등으로 수준을 설정하였다. 다항로짓모형에 의한 계측결과를 보면, 안전성 인증표시, 사료첨가제, 잔류 항생제 성분, 등급 등의 속성 부호가 ``+``로 도출되었는데, 이는 안전성 인증 표시가 있고 사료첨가제 및 잔류 항생제 성분이 없는 돼지고기에 대해, 그리고 등급이 높은 돼지고기에 대해 추가 지불의사가 있음을 나타낸다. 가격의 부호가``-``로 도출된 것은 가격이 높을수록 구매의향이 없다는 것을 나타낸다. 한계지불의사금액은 각각 사료첨가제가 16.5위엔, 잔류 항생제 성분이 15.4위엔, 안전성 인증표시가 7.3위엔, 등급이 6.9위엔으로 계측되었다. The purpose of this paper is to derive the monetary values of pork safety in China using choice experiments questionnaires. The survey data were analyzed by conjoint analysis method with multinomial logit model. Those of all other estimates were turned out be positive while its sign of the price variable negative. It means that survey respondents will be willing to pay for the pork safety and will not be willing to purchase it as its price increases. The marginal willingness to pay for various attributes of pork safety were estimated as to be 7.3 yuan per 500g for the safety labeling preference, 16.5 yuan per 500g for the rBST, 15.4 yuan per 500g for the pesticide-residue, and 6.9 yuan per 500g for the quality grade. Therefore, it can be concluded that even though higher price is paid, the pork with guaranteed safety and good quality will be preferred to without them.
