        A Computer program for the precombustion chamber type 4 cycle C.I.engine using two-zone model and quasi-steady model has been developed. Comparing with experimental results, the calculated results have about 10% of deviation. Through the numerical analysis, the direction of optimum engine design condition can be obtained as follows; 1) From the numerical solution, the optimal driving points of experimental engine are as follows. Engine speed is 2500 - 3000rpm and the injection timing is 15-20。BTDC, When the economy of fuel is considered, and when the engine is driven under 2100 rpm and fuel is injectioned at 25。BTDC, the maximum output can be obtained. 2) The maximum cylinder pressure increase about 3% at every 400 rpm, and increase about 20% whenever the injection time is advanced at 5 degrees. 3) The volumetric efficiency decrease about 9% at every 400rpm.

      • 濟州地方에서 쪽파(Allium ascalonicum L.)의 端境期 栽培 可能性에 關한 硏究

        濟州在來 쪽파의 여름철 栽培를 爲하여 種球에 對한 貯藏溫度와 期間, GA₃및 ABA處理와 日長 및 遮光程度를 달리하여 出現 및 生育에 미치는 影響을 究明하고, 種球와 生育中인 植物體內의 GA 및 Auxin類似物質의 含量을 分析한 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 濟州在來 쪽파의 出現 및 初期生長促進은 4℃의 低溫에서 30日間 貯藏한 것이 가장 良好하였다. 2. GA₃處理는 濃度間에 뚜렷한 出現促進效果가 없었으나 生長은 繼續 增加되었다. 3. ABA處理는 出現을 遲延시켰으나 濃度가 높을 수록 地上部의 生長도 抑制되었다. 4. 여름철의 自然日長과 16時間 日長區에서 地上部 生長이 良好하였고 8時間과 24時間區에서는 不良하였다. 5. 50% 및 85% 遮光處理한 것에서 草長이 길어졌고 露地에서는 伸長이 緩慢하였다. 6. GA 및 Auxin類似物質의 含量은 種球의 常溫貯藏과 生育中인 것에서 類似하였고 4℃에서 30日間 貯藏한 區에서 GA와 Auxin類似物質含量이 높았다. 7. 以上의 結果로서 濟州在來 쪽파의 여름철 栽培는 可能하지만 休眠性을 비롯한 生理的인 諸部分은 좀 더 硏究해야 될 것이라 생각되었다. Effects of bulb treatments such as cold storage temperature and period, application of GA₃ and ABA, day length and shading on emergence and growth of shallot were determined to establish cultural practices for Cheju native shallot in summer. The concentraton of GA and auxin like substances in bulbs for planting and growing plants was also determined. The results obtained are follow as; 1. Storaging bulbs at 4℃ for 30 days was suitalbe for promoting emergence and early growth of Cheju-native shallot. 2. Application of GA₃ did not promote emergence but increased growth continuously. 3. Application of ABA delayed emergence and the higher the concentration of solution was, the more the growth was retarded. 4. Shallot plant growed better under natural and 16 hours lighting than under 8 and 24 hours lighting. 5. Shallot plant growed better under 50 and 85% shading than under natural sun light. 6. Concentration of GA and ABA like substances was similar in bulbs storaged at normal temperature and growing plants but was higher in plants emerged from bulbs storaged at 4℃ for 30 days. 7. In consideration of the above results the summer cultivation of Cheju-native shallot determined to possible, but including the shallot dormancy, physiological subject and the others ought to make researches further in future.

      • M계열에 의한 거리계측장치의 동작특성

        본 논문에서는 M계열을 사용하여 제시한 거리계측시스템 모델에서 측정신호로서의 M계열을 MPD(Matched Pulse Detector) 디지털상관기로 검출할 때의 고속 동기포착과 추적을 위한 임계치 설정방법과 1칩 펄스이내의 고분해능이 가능한 거리계측방법과 거리계측상에서의 멀티패스와 도플러주파수의 영향을 분석하였다. 제시된 모델에 대한 컴퓨터시뮬레이션 실험의 결과 S/N=-30dB의 PN부호와 잡음의 비에서 직접 반사파와 멀티패스파와의 비가 D/U₁=3dB, D/U₂=10dB까지 동기포착과 동기추적이 잘 이루워지고 있었으며 이 조건하에서 7-90〔m〕범위의 거리는 정확히 계측되는 것을 확인하였다. 반면에 도플러주파수 발생에 의한 위상변화에 따른 영향에서는 S/N를 크게 증가시키는 결과로 나타났다. In this paper, for the presented ranging system model using M-sequence, not only the establishment method of threshold level of a digital correator as a matched pulse detector for the fast acquisition and tracking and the high resolution ranging measurement method within one chip pulse are presented but also the influence of multipath and doppler frequencies are showed. The simulation experimental results for the distance measurement showed that the acquisition and tracking for received signal is carried out well at the D/U₁=3dB and D/U₂=10dB, the directly reflected signal to multipathed signal ratio under the S/N=-30dB, the PN code to noise ratio. At this condition, the ranging system model measured the distance from 7-90〔m〕correctly. On the other hand the carrier phase variation due to the doppler frequencies incresed the S/N a lots.

        Three dogs which show clinical signs of cystic calculi with anorexia, hematuria, stranguria, dribbling of urine, and pain in posterior abdomen, were referred, and diagnosed as cystic calculi by radiography and ultrasonography. Removal of urinary cystic calculi was performed by urinary cystotomy. Calculi, removed surgically, were analyzed chemically and microscolically. Calculi from three patient dogs were calcium carbonate in all. After the removal of calculi recurrence of urolith were not observed up to nowadays for about 4-10 months.

        Frequent anomalies causing a left-sided appendix are situs inversus and malrotation. The ectopic position of the appendix frequently causes a delay or error in diagnosis because of atypical symptoms. A physical examination is of limited value unless dextrocardia is present. A left-sided appendix is a rare anomaly, but when other diseases are ruled out, it must be considered especially at the emergency department.

      • Pseudocercospora dendrobii에 의한 덴드로비움 검은잎마름병

        2001년 경상남도 창녕군 남지읍 덴드로비움 재배포장에서 잎에 검은 잎마름 증상이 심하게 발생하였다. 병징은 아래 잎에 원형 또는 부정형의 점무늬가 생기며 표면은 옅은 갈색의 작은 함몰된 병반이 차차 증가하여 검게 변하면서 썩고 나중에 회색을 띤 검은색으로 말라죽으면서 낙엽이 된다. 조사한 포장에서 발생율은 64.8%이었다. 균사의 색깔은 짙은 올리브색이고, 분생자병은 옅은 회갈색을 띠며 5∼10개의 격벽을 가지고 분지하며 끝 부분이 가늘고 둔하다. 크기는 63∼164×3.2∼4.9㎛이었다. 분생포자는 옅은 올리브색이며 가늘고 긴 곤봉모양이며 곧거나 약간 굽으로 1∼5개 격벽을 가지며, 크기는 46∼98×3.2∼3.9㎛이었다. 균사 생육적온은 20℃이었다. 이 병원균의 병징 및 균학적 특징, 병원성을 검정한 결과, P. dendrobii에 의한 덴드로비움 검은잎마름병으로 명명하고자 제안한다. Sooty leaf blight was found on Dendrobium sp. in several farmers' fields located in Namji-eup, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam province Korea in 2001. Symptoms of the disease appeared on leaves. Sooty leaf spots were started with amphigenous, subcircular to irregular spots, with light grayish brown to black color with definite margin lines on the upper surface of leaves. Infected leaves became defoliated and whole plants eventually were died. The infection rates of the disease in the surveyed area reached up to 64.8% in the early September. Conidiophores of the causal fungus were dark grayish brown in color, densely fasciculate, straight, curved to sinuous, branched, 5∼10 septate and 63∼164×3.2∼4.9 ㎛ in size. Conidia were pale to olivaceous in color, obclavatecylindric, straight to slightly curved in shape, 1∼5 septate and 46∼98×3.2∼3.9 ㎛ in size. The optimum temperature for mycelial growth of the fungus was 25℃. The fungus was identified as Pseudocercospora dendrobii on the basis of its mycological characteristics. This is the first report on sooty leaf light of Dendrobium sp. caused by Pseudocercospora dendrobii in Korea.

        In this paper, applications of adaptive fuzzy controller to position control of flexible beam are considered. When a flexible beam is rotated by a motor through the fixed end, transverse vibration may occur. The architecture and learning underlying adaptive networks based fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) is presented, which is a fuzzy inference system implemented in the framework of adaptive networks. By using a hybrid learning procedure, the proposed ANFIS can construct an input-output mapping based on both human knowledge and stipulated input-output data pairs. Therefor, a dynamic model for a flexible beam is derived, and then a comparative analysis was made with before learning and after learning adaptive fuzzy controller through an simulation. The results are presented to illustrate the advantages and improved performance of the proposed position control cver the after learning adaptive fuzzy controller.

      • 부산시 공장지역·주거지역 하천의 수질특성분석

        This study is carried out to investigate the water quality changes in Busan Metropolitan streams. The results are as follows. In Busan Metropolitan streams, the loading rates of contaminants are greater in industrial waste water streams than domestic waste water streams. Some sampling points show a little high loading in autumn, but this needs more investigation to make clear the causes. The level of organic contaminants(BOD_(5) and COD_(MN)) is found to be low and does not show seasonal variation in domestic waste water streams. But, the level of organic contaminants in industrial waste water streams is relatively high and seems to be seasonally variable, which is affected by other factors. The nutrient materials, such as nitrogen(as T-N, about 20mg/L) and phosphorus(as T-P, about 2.0mg/L), are abundant than Nak Dong River and the general trends of contaminants level are similar to those of organic contaminants.

      • 대기 중 휘발성 유기화합물의 Advanced Technology에 대한 실험비교

        Nowaday, Advanced technology has been applied to organic destruction technologies that are alternatives to incineration. Plasma, photolysis, and Photocatalytic oxidation processes are an emerging advanced technologies for the abatement of volatile organic compounds(VOCs) in atmospheric pressure air streams, so we has been used these technologies for destruction of VOCs. TCE, Benzene, Toluene, and Xylene were selected as objective materials. We have been studied each process and found many types of reaction parameters which effect on treatment efficiency. So combination processes, which are plasma-photocatalytic oxidation process and photolysis-photocatalytic oxidation process, have been used to increase destruction efficiency. Analysis of above materials and byproducts was carried out by GC-FID.

        The purpose of the study was to undertaken to analysis the Grab starting technique between national representive team(3) and Cheju's representive team(3) with 3D cinematography. The conclusions obtained were as follows: Cheju's showed more elapsed time than national representive team on starting block. and more vertical than horizontal direction of COG position, more concentrated vertical velocity & acceleration than forward direction. Therefore It is necessory for cheju's to train balanced trust force in horizontal and vertical direction in grab starting technique.
