한국인 전반적 급진성 치주염 환자에서 IL-6 유전자 다변성에 관한 연구

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the association of generalized aggressive periodontitis with IL-6 promoter gene single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNP). Material and Methods: The study population consisted of 52 generalized aggressive periodontitis patients(GAP) and 30 periodontally healthy control subjects, who were systemically healthy non-smokers. Genomic DNA was obtained from buccal swab. The IL-6 promotor SNP at the positions of -597, -572, and -174 were genotyped by amplifying the polymorphic region using polymerase chain reaction(PCR), restriction enzyme digestion and gel electrophoresis. Result: The genotype distributions for G/G, G/A and A/A genotypes of IL-6 -597 were 30.8%, 40.4%, and 28.8% in the GAP group and 53.3%, 40%, and 6.7% in the control group and were statistically different between 2 groups(p<0.05). Allele 2 frequency of IL-6 -597 were significantly higher in the GAP group than the control group(p<0.01). At the position of IL-6 -572, the distribution for C/C, C/G and G/G genotypes were 23.1%, 55.8% and 21.2% in the GAP group and 20%, 33.3%, and 46.7% in the control group. In female subjects, the genotype distribution were significantly different between 2 groups(p<0.01). In male subjects, allele 2 frequency of IL-6-572 was significantly lower in the GAP group than the control group(p<0.05). The genotype distribution of IL-6 -174 in the GAP group were 96.2%, 3.8% for G/G, G/C genotypes whereas only the G/G genotype was detected in the control group. Conclusion: In conclusion, significant associations were found in IL-6 gene promoter(-597, -572) polymorphisms and generalized aggressive periodontitis. Further cohort study will be necessary in larger population.
어머니의 양육태도와 유아의 자기조절능력 및 사회적 능력과의 관계

본 연구는 어머니의 양육태도와 유아의 자기조절능력 및 사회적 능력이 어떠한 관계가 있는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 만 5세반 어머니와 자녀 183명을 연구대상으로 하였으며 수집된 자료는 빈도분석과 Pearson 적률상관계수를 통해 검증하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 어머니의 양육태도와 유아의 자기조절능력은 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 어머니의 양육태도 중 합리적 지도는 유아의 자기통제, 충동성감소와 정적인 상관이 있었으며 한계설정과 애정성, 반응성은 유아의 자기통제 충동성감소, 주의집중과 모두 정적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 양육태도와 유아의 사회적 능력은 정적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 어머니의 양육태도 중 합리적 지도, 한계설정, 애정성은 유아의 주도성에서만 정적인 상관을 보였으며 어머니의 반응성은 유아의 주도성, 사교성에서 정적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아의 자기조절능력과 사회적 능력은 모두 높은 정적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relations between mother's rear attitude and young children's social ability and self-regulation. The subjects consisted of 183 five-years-old children and their mothers. The data were analyzed with frequency and Pearson's correlation. The results of this study were as follows; First, there were positive relations between mother's rear attitude and young children's self-regulation. There were positive relations between reasoning guidance in mother's rear attitude and self-control and impulsivity reduction in young children's self-regulation. Also there were positive relations between limit setting, intimacy, and responsiveness in mother's rear attitude and self-control, impulsivity reduction, and attentiveness in young children's self-regulation. Second, there were positive relations between mother's rear attitude and young children's social ability. The reasoning guidance, limit setting, and intimacy in mother's rear attitude showed positive relations only with initiativeness of young children's social ability. However, the responsiveness in mother's rear attitude had positive relations with initiativeness and sociability in young children's social ability. Third, there were positive relations between young children's self-regulation and social ability.
압전 캔틸레버 구조를 이용한 도로용 에너지 하베스터의 개발 및 평가

A road energy harvester was designed and fabricated to convert mechanical energy from the vehicle load to electrical energy. The road energy harvester is composed of 24 piezoelectric cantilevers and a vehicle load transfer mechanism. Applying a vehicle load transfer mechanism rather than directly installing energy harvesters under roads decreases the area of road construction and allows more energy harvesters to be installed on the side of the road. The power generation amount with respect to the vehicular velocity change was assessed by installing the vehicle load transfer mechanism and the energy harvester in the form of speed bumps and underground. The energy harvester installed in a speed bump form generated power of 7.61 mW at the vehicular velocity of 20 km/h. Also, power generation of the energy harvester installed in the underground form was 63.9 mW at the vehicular velocity of 28 km/h. Although the number of piezoelectric cantilevers was reduced by 1/3 to 24 in comparison to the previous research results with 72 piezoelectric cantilevers, similar power generation characteristic value was obtained within the vehicular velocity of 20 km/h by altering the vehicle load transfer mechanism and cantilever vibration method.

REDD is recognized as a cost-effective and the most appropriate way of managing global GHG emissions. It is negotiated in a global context under the UNFCCC. The main issues of the REDD mechanism are divided into two parts: 1) developing forest carbon verification and measurement system for reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, 2) establishing an appropriate system of incentives for developing countries. REDD can provide stability in carbon offset credits. However, the most important task is to establish a clear legal framework and appropriate governance structures with relevant countries. There is a wide opportunities for Republic of Korea to take a lead in cutting off greenhouse gasses in the Post-Kyoto period.

As a part of establishing suitability classification for forage production, use of the national soil and climate database was attempted for Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam., IRG) in Gangwon Province. The soil data base were from Heugtoram of the National Academy of Agricultural Science, and the climate data base were from the National Center for Agro-Meteorology, respectively. Soil physical properties including soil texture, drainage, slope available depth and surface rock contents, and soil chemical properties including soil acidity and salinity, organic matter content were selected as soil factors. The crieria and weighting factors of these elements were scored. Climate factors including average daily minimum temperature, average temperature from March to May, the number of days of which average temperature was higher than 5℃ from September to December, the number of days of precipitation and its amount from October to May of the following year were selected, and criteria and weighting factors were scored. The electronic maps were developed with these scores using the national data base of soil and climate. Based on soil scores, the area of Goseong, Sogcho, Gangreung, and Samcheog in east coastal region with gentle slope were classified as the possible and/or the proper area for IRG cultivation in Gangwon Province. The lands with gentle or moderate slope of Cheolwon, Yanggu, Chuncheon, Hweongseong, Pyungchang and Jeongsun in west side slope of Taebaeg mountains were classified as the possible and/or proper area as well. Based on climate score, the east coastal area of Goseong, Sogcho, Yangyang, Gangreung and Samcheog could be classified as the possible or proper area. Most area located on west side of the Taebaeg mountains were classified as not suitable for IRG production. In scattered area in Chuncheon and Weonju, where the scores exceeded 60, the IRG cultivation should be carefully managed for good production. For better application of electronic maps.

Pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis (PCI) is a rare condition characterized by multiple gas-filled cysts of varying size in the wall of gastrointestinal tract. PCI may idiopathic or secondary to various disorders. The etiology and pathogenesis of PCI are unclear. Treatment is usually conservative, and includes oxygen and antibiotics therapy. Surgery is reserved for cases of suspected inconvertible intestinal obstruction or perforation. Eleven patients who were diagnosed with PI between 2005 and 2015 were reviewed. We report three cases of PCI and describe causes and complications. The most important point in the treatment of PCI is to determine whether the patient needs surgery. Conservative care should be considered first if the patient is stable. If any complication is observed, such as ischemia in the intestine, surgery is needed. It is important to choose the best treatment based on prognostic factors and CT findings. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2016;67:262-266)
기존터널 안전진단 결과를 통한 근접시공 시 터널 안정성 평가

기존의 단선터널에 근접하여 신설터널의 시공시 기존터널의 안정성 확보를 최우선하기 위해 건전도 평가를 반영한 안정성 검토 수행 및 터널의 안전확보를 위해 검토ㆍ반영된 사례를 분석하였다. 건전도 평가결과 및 근접도 구분에 따른 신설터널에 대한 대책으로 선대구경수평심발과 Line Drilling을 병용하고 민가구간은 무진동암파쇄공법을 적용하여 진동과 소음을 허용치 이내로 제어하였다. 또한 신설터널 시공중에 발생할 수 있는 기존구조물에 대한 영향을 평가하여 열차의 운행과 사용중인 구조물의 안정성 확보를 위하여 Basset System을 계획하였다. We analyzed case studies doing in-depth inspection of tunnel to maintain safety of existing tunnel in constructing new tunnel near to a existing tunnel with single track. Futhermore, We accomplished in-depth inspection of existing tunnel and numerical analysis. We suggested remedies to security safety of existing tunnel. We applied line drilling and pre-large hole boring method not to have an effect on existing tunnel and convinced the safety of existing tunnel from blast-vibration and blast-noise of numerical analysis. We planed to install basset system to measure displacement of existing tunnel according to excavating new tunnel.
