광범위 유두근 석회화는 흔하지 앉으며, 원인과 임상적 중요성에 관한 문헌만 드물게 찾아볼 수 있다. 반면에 작은 석회 침착은 노인에서 흔하며 심장 첨부에 주로 나타난다. 유두근 석회화는 관상동맥질환, 확장성 심근병증, 승모관 질환, 고칼슘혈증, 그리고 말기신부전에서 인산칼슘의 중가와 연관성이 있다. 저자는 심장초옴파와 MDCT를 통해 진단된 전외측 유두근의 광범위 석회화의 드문 사례가 있어 보고한다.

We evaluate the reliability of the emotional function BIOPIA Co., Ltd) through comparing the general utilized system MP100 (Biopac Systems Inc.). The 40 Hz re-sampled Photo-Plethysmo Graph (PPG) signals that acquired with the emotional function mouse are processed to determine heartbeat rate with peak detection algorithms (FIR band-pass filter, 6-point difference filter and threshold assign) and tested to how that rate are reliable compare to the MP100's one In addition, the correlation of the I Hz re -sampled Galvanic Skin Response(GSR) signals and the MP100s GSR signals are tested The evaluation tests are not carried out only In the stable humans condition but In stimulated conditions that caused Continuous Performance Test(CPT) and skipping. In this work, we evaluate the signals that acquired with emotional function mouse and the MP100 systems are strongly correlated over 0.97 in the case of PPG and over 0.98 in case of GSR Moreover, It should be available that Using the emotional function mouse as a utilized bio-Signal acquisition device.
기초주변지반의 마이크로 파일 보강에 의한 지지력 증가효과에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 기초주변에 설치된 마이크로 파일의 길이와 보강범위에 따른 지반의 지지력 증가효과를 실내모형실험을 통하여 조사하였다. 실험 결과, 마이크로 파일의 최적 길이와 보강 범위가 제안되었다. 또한, 기초 직하에 설치된 마이크로 파일의 지지력과도 비교하였다. In this study, the increase in the bearing capacity of soil due to the variation of length and reinforcement scope of the micropiles installed near the foundation was investigated using model tests. From the test results, the length and the optimum reinforcement scope were proposed. In order to improve micropiles field application, it was compared with the increase in the bearing capacity for micropiles installed directly beneath the foundation.

<P>The present study is designed to investigate the neuroprotective effect of a kind of phlorotannins, diphlorethohydroxycarmalol (DPHC) isolated from Ishige okamurae against hydrogen peroxide (H(2)O(2))-induced oxidative stress in murine hippocampal neuronal cells, HT22. H(2)O(2) treatment induced neurotoxicity, whereas DPHC prevented cells from H(2)O(2)-induced damage then restoring cell viability was significantly increased. DPHC slightly reduced the expression of Bax induced by H(2)O(2) but recovered the expression of Bcl-xL as well as caspase-9 and -3 mediated PARP cleavage by H(2)O(2). Intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) and lipid peroxidation was overproduced as the result of the addition of H(2)O(2); however, these ROS generations and lipid peroxidation were effectively inhibited by addition of DPHC in a dose-dependent manner. Moreover, DPHC suppressed the elevation of H(2)O(2)-induced Ca(2+) release. These findings indicate that DPHC has neuroprotective effects against H(2)O(2)-induced damage in neuronal cells, and that an inhibitory effect on ROS production may contribute to the underlying mechanisms.</P>
Portable XRF를 이용한 어린이 야외 놀이용품의 중금속 측정

The present study was conducted to judge the applicability of field quality control by children`s goods manufacturers by assessing the contents of heavy metals such as Pb and Cd in outdoor play goods for children through measurement using Portable XRF and comparing the results through detailed analyses using ICP. Heavy metal contents of 711 part samples of 505 products were measured using XRF. According to the results, the ratio of products that exceeded the Pb and Cd content standards specified under the Quality Management and Safety Control of Industrial Products Act were 2.4% and 2.6%. Many products certified for self-regulated safety exceeded the standards and thus it was considered that harmful chemical material centered safety management systems would be necessary. Detailed ICP analyses of some products were compared and the results showed deviations of 0.9∼80.8% from XRF results. The reasons for this are deviations in the characteristics of measured cross sections and the homogeneity of samples resulting from sample preparation methods, etc. Therefore, it is considered that field quality control will be applicable if measuring methods are efficiently established based on product characteristics and calibration curve preparation methods are established through quality control.

본 논문에서는 하나의 시스템안에서 효율적인 유전자 데이터의 관리와 다양한 서열 분석작업이 가능한 웹 기반의 서열 분석 및 관리 시스템인 GWB(Gene Workbench)를 설계하고 구현하였다. GWB는 로컬 데이터베이스 관리뿐만 아니라 GenBank, EMBL, SWISSPROT와 같은 외부 공공 데이터베이스에 대한 접근 기능도 제공하며, 권한을 가진 내부 이용자와 그렇지 못한 외부 이용자들을 구분하여 일부 유용한 기능들을 외부 사용자들도 이용할 수 있도록 설계 되었다. 또 GWB는 유전자에 관한 문헌정보 검색과 관련 유전자 탐색 기능 등 일분 유전자 기능 연구를 지원하는 기능을 제공하고 있다.
