EVALUATION OF SAMG EFFECTIVENESS IN VIEW OF GROUP DECISION
허창욱,NAMDUK SUH,박군철 한국원자력학회 2012 Nuclear Engineering and Technology Vol.44 No.6
We evaluate the technical and organizational aspects of the severe accident management guideline (SAMG), focusing on the decision-making process in the technical support center (TSC). From the technical aspects, we conclude that the present SAMG is a good tool that can assist the TSC in efficiently managing probable severe accidents. However, we suggest that the clear separation of the emergency operating procedure (EOP) and SAMG, which shifts plant control from the main control room (MCR) to the TSC, might not be an effective framework from an organizational perspective. Studies on organizational behavior demonstrate that a group decision made under a risky situation might be polarized in either a risky or cautious way. We recognize that we cannot be free from the polarization effect since the current SAMG recommends that the TSC evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of strategies to be implemented and choose the best one based on a group decision process. Illustrative examples of accident management under risky conditions are recapitulated from previous studies of the authors and we propose that the SAMG should be more proceduralized to remove this polarization from the decision-making process.

Objective:The goal of this study is to introduce a new method of external ventricular drainage system to reduce the complications of infections by making a long subcutaneous tunnel. Methods : Between January 2002 and March 2003, 59 cases of ventriculostomy including 44 cases of short subcutaneous tunnel and 15 cases of long subcutaneous tunnel were performed and analysed. Subarachnoid hemorrhage and intraventricular hemorrhage were major indications for ventriculostomy. Results : No infection was noted in the group of 15 patients with long subcutaneous tunnel. Whereas, 6 cases(13.6%) of infection was diagnosed in the group of 44 patients with short subcutaneous tunnel. The ventriculostomy was kept maximally for 11(mean 7.4)days without infection in the patients with long subcutaneous tunnel. Conclusion : To reduce the infection as a complication of ventriculostomy, we devise a new drainage system that involves the long subcutaneous tunnel. Key words:External ventricular drainage(EVD);Long subcutaneous tunnel;Ventriculitis.

We evaluate the reliability of the emotional function BIOPIA Co., Ltd) through comparing the general utilized system MP100 (Biopac Systems Inc.). The 40 Hz re-sampled Photo-Plethysmo Graph (PPG) signals that acquired with the emotional function mouse are processed to determine heartbeat rate with peak detection algorithms (FIR band-pass filter, 6-point difference filter and threshold assign) and tested to how that rate are reliable compare to the MP100's one In addition, the correlation of the I Hz re -sampled Galvanic Skin Response(GSR) signals and the MP100s GSR signals are tested The evaluation tests are not carried out only In the stable humans condition but In stimulated conditions that caused Continuous Performance Test(CPT) and skipping. In this work, we evaluate the signals that acquired with emotional function mouse and the MP100 systems are strongly correlated over 0.97 in the case of PPG and over 0.98 in case of GSR Moreover, It should be available that Using the emotional function mouse as a utilized bio-Signal acquisition device.
