본 논문에서는 초등 교원을 중심으로 교직이행과정의 핵심 부분인 자격부여와 신규 임용 과정의 문제점과 현황을 살펴보고, 전문직의 특성을 중심으로 하여 이들 과정의 신뢰성 및 연계성을 증진시키기 위한 개선을 위한 방안을 탐색하였다. 현행 자격부여 및 임용 방법들은 기존 제도의 문제점을 해결하고 부족한 부분을 보완하고자 하는 노력으로 제시되었지만, 여전히 기존의 연구들에서 제기된 문제점들을 내포하고 있고, 또한 서로 연계되어 운영되어야 함에도 불구하고 서로 동떨어진 느낌을 주고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 자격 부여 과정과 임용 과정의 연계성을 높이고, 보다 우수한 교사를 확보하고 초등학교 교사에 대한 사회적 인식을 증대시키기 위해 시험 검정을 통한 자격증 부여, 즉 국가 고시제와 실습 강화 및 양성 기간을 연장하여 교육전문대학원 체제를 통한 교사 양성 방안을 제안하였다.
A Blood-Filled Cystic Mass Attached to the Anterolateral Papillary Muscle

A 22 year-old male had a cystic mass attached to the anterolateral papillary muscle which was diagnosed using transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. Cardiac MRI was done to prove the nature of cystic mass. This cystic mass was successfully resected by da Vinci system without damage to the valve. Histologically this cystic mass proved to be a blood-filled cystic mass. Giant Multilocular Prostatic Cystadenoma Presenting with Obstructive Aspermia

Giant multilocular prostatic cystadenoma (GMPC) is a rare benign tumor involving the prostate gland. Microscopically, it masquerades phyllodes tumor or transitional zone hyperplasia. We report one case of GMPC arising from the prostate central zone (CZ), presenting with long-standing aspermia associated with seminal vesicle fibrous obliteration.

The purpose of the survey is to collect basic data on freshmen in 2007 and to understand students' general matters, mental state, image and pride on the universityl for make substantial measures on academic affairs in our university. For the purpose of the study, the researcher composed a questionnaire (on students' current conditions, values, university life etc) based on earlier surveys and distributed and collected during the orientation period. 1807 students are answered the questionnaire and the results of the survey suggest that: First, it needs to increase the opportunities to take career guidance and counseling. When asked main concerns, most students answered that their main concern or interest is 'getting a job' or 'entering a school of higher grade'. Also they answered that the reason to enter the university is to find more prospective job(53.9%) and want to take counseling service on 'getting a job' or 'entering a school of higher grade' (68.4%). Thus, to meet their needs, it needs to increase the opportunity to take psychological test, career guidance and counseling with close cooperation with other related university offices. Second, the university needs to increase programs on 'getting a job' and students' careers after graduation. Many students replied that they wanted to take courses on 'getting a job' and careers. Thus considering these concerns and interests of the freshman, it needs to increase the role and functions of the CNU Career Center. Third it needs to increase the opportunities of oversea training for students. Most of the students(77.0%) had a positive image on the oversea training and these experiences are directly related with students' competitiveness in job markets. Thus, it needs to take supportive steps to collect sufficient fund for the oversea training. Fourth, it needs to support students who want to be a public official or teacher. Many students preferred to be a public officer or teachers, so that the university should take some measures to support these students. Also, it needs to strengthen the role of department on job or national examinations in the CNU Career Center. Fifth, the current strategy for university advertisement should be reappraised. Cheju National University holds several expositions for highschool graduates to advertise the university, but it revealed that these expositions are not effective because many students replied that they found useful information through university's homepage(35.8%), highschool teachers(24.0%). Thus, the university should change current strategy based on exposition for highschool students and make more effective plans for advertising departments and the university. Sixth, the university should take some measures to increase students' pride which is related to the university. 38.3% of the students replied that they are proud of the university, but 61.7% of the students replied that they are normal or not proud of the university. Finally, it needs to strengthen the role of the CNu Career Center. Most of the students(76.6%) have showed some interests in counseling and various tests(especially, job related tests), thus CNU Career Center needs to increase personnels and provide various services and supports to solve students' problems.
