색의 순서 변경을 이용한 색의 조화 개선 방법

색의 조화로움(harmony)은 조화로운 색들의 선택 뿐 아니라 각 색들의 배치에 따라서도 영향을 받는다. 본 논문에서는 색상의 배치 순서에 따라서 사람이 느끼는 조화로움에 차이가 있다는 사실을 보인다. 특히 색의 배색 및 선택에서 자주 사용되는 색 테마(Color Theme)의 구성 색들에 대한 예제를 보인다. 이를 위해서, 먼저 Ou [1][2]가 제안한 방법을 이용한 색상 배치 방법을 소개하고, 색 간의 차이를 최소로 하는 방법에 대해서도 제안을 한다. 이를 통하여 다수의 색이 구성되어있을 때는, 각 색들 간의 조화로움을 계산하여 순서를 정하는 것도 중요하지만, 그보다는 전체 색들 간의 차이가 적을 때 더욱 조화롭게 느껴진다는 것을 보인다. 사용자 평가를 통하여 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법이 색 테마의 전체적인 조화로움을 더욱 증가시킴을 알 수 있었다. Color harmony is affected by order of colors or orderly arrangement as well as harmonious colors themselves. In this paper, we show people perceive the degree of harmony differently according to the orderly arrangement of colors. Especially, we use the order of colors in color themes, or color schemes which have been largely used for color selection. We first present the method for harmony calculation of Ou’s researches[1][2] and then suggest a method considering minimum color distance of component colors. For a design consisting of multiple colors, we show overall harmony of colors is more important than each harmony of adjacent component colors. By user study, we conclude that the suggested method can enhance the harmony of color theme.

테마파크의 효과적 길찾기를 위한 색채적용 연구

최근 우리 사회는 문화 및 생활수준의 향상으로 인해 여가와 소비욕구가 늘어나고 있다. 이에 따라 테마파크에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며 그 공간에서 이루어지는 길찾기(wayfinding)는 우리가 흔히 겪게 되는 문제 중의 하나이다. 길찾기는 단순히 방향 감각의 상실을 의미하는 것이 아닌 심리적 불안감을 느끼게 하는 주요한 문제가 될 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 테마파크의 효과적 길찾기를 위한 색채적용 연구를 목적으로 이론고찰 및 대상지의 색채 현황분석을 통하여 색채 적용 방향을 선정하고, 그에 따른 각 테마공간별 색채 선정을 위한 예비조사를 실시하였다. 이어서 그에 따른 결과로 선정된 5개의 색상을 이용하여 실제 적용시킨 대상지 이미지를 적용전과 적용후로 나란히 배치하였고 그에 따른 설문조사를 실시하였다. 또한 방문객을 대상으로 만족도를 조사하여 길찾기에서의 색채 정보화 작용이 방문객들에게 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였으며 색채적용, 방문객 만족도, 색채의 정보화 이들 서로간의 관계적 영향에 대한 연구가설을 설정한 후 이를 검증하였다. 이 결과를 토대로, 테마파크 계획 시 색채 전략 방향을 제안하였다. Way-finding in theme parks is one of the basic problems. As such, this dissertation looks at methods of color planning and application. Through analysis of color status, this color application research in theme parks that has been carried out in a preliminary survey based on color application for each theme place. This dissertation has also arranged a before and after target places" images, which were applied using five colors, which are selected according to the preliminary survey. In addition, to investigate the satisfaction of the results, this dissertation has analysed how the information-action affects the visitors, and have verified that the research hypothesis about relationship with color application, visitor"s satisfactions, and information-action of the color. According to these results, this dissertation suggests a best color strategic direction for the effective wayfinding in the theme park.

테마별 이미지 Make-up에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

The purpose of this study is to understand the history of 20th century fashion and make-up culture, analyze trend of the modern fashion and make-up, creat a cyber make-up model according to themes and also it will find out how to use make-up as a part of fashion genre. As a result of this study is 1. Looking over change-process in 20th century fashion and make-up history, we can find the popular make-up color and pattern reflecting the society and cultural environments. And also make-up culture reflecting their sense of values and way of thinkings. 2. Analyzing fashion and make up color trend of 2002 F/W, we can find a similarity between fashion and make-up color trend by comparing with hue&tone chart. All of theme have a tendency to be natural, veiled, feminine by neutral color and artifical highlighted, illuminate, transparant by clearhigh saturation color. 3. Creating imagemaps, color palletes and cyber model of 4 trend themes by computer graphic, It can give more visual and interesting effect on the cyber space, and also it can help to expect make-up will be dizitalized, visualized and informationalized.

영국 화이트 가든(White Garden)의 초화류 설계기법 -20C 초반 작정된 시싱허스트, 배링턴 코트를 중심으로-

정원을 만드는데 있어서 정원설계가들은 특정한 색을 이용하여 원칙을 정하고 소재를 수집하여 각자의 미의식으로 결합해가는 기법을 사용한다. 본 연구에서는 흰색을 배색의 주조톤으로 하여 유명한 정원인 제킬(Gertrude Jekyll)의 배링턴 코트(Barrington court)와 비타(Vita Sackvill-West)의 시싱허스트(Sissinghurst)의 화이트 가든에 사용된 초화류의 종류와 특성을 통해 설계기법을 연구한다. 사용된 개별식물을 계절, 색, 형태, 초장, 향기로 구분하여 분석하고, 화이트 가든 조성 시 초화류의 미적 결합방식을 제킬과 비타의 작품을 통해 살펴보았다. 제킬은 봄의 신선함을 위한 정원으로 초롱꽃류(Campanula spp.), 백합류(Lilium spp.)를 위주로 식재하였다. 비타(Vita Sackvill-West)는 주로 여름밤의 달빛을 겨냥한 정원으로 델피니움류(Delphinium spp.), 장미류(Rosa spp.)가 대표적인 수종이다. 꽃의 색은 흰색계열로 조성하였으나, 순수한 흰색에서부터 아이보리색과 실버색을 포함하였으며, 꽃의 형태는 흰색의 단일색에서 오는 단조로움을 피하기 위해 강한 형태를 사용하였다. 또한 잎의 색은 흰꽃이 잘 돋보일 수 있도록 연록색, 연회색, 밝은 녹황색 잎을 조합하였다. 전반적으로 차가운 색상 계열을 사용하여 신비감과 시원함, 청정함, 밤에 빛이 반사되었을 때 흰꽃과 더불어 매혹적이고 애상적인 이미지를 추구하였다. 화이트 가든의 조경사적 의의는 색의 잠재력을 발견하고 범위를 제한하지 않는 재식설계기법의 아이디어와 기술로 주제색상을 통한 정원설계의 시발점이 되었으며, 미적 원리에 의한 결합으로 정원예술의 발전에 기여하였다. In making gardens, garden designers establish a principle using specific colors, collect materials, and combine them with their own aesthetic senses. This study is design mothed through the species and characteristics of flowering plants used in the Barrington court created by Gertrude Jekyll and Sissinghurst`s white garden created by Vita Sackville-West, both of which are the most renowned gardens that used the white color. The analysis of each individual plant used in the gardens will be based on the season, colors, shapes, plant heights and aromaticity. Through their gardens, how the flowering plants aesthetically united with each other in creating the white gardens will be reviewed. To represent the freshness of spring, Jekyll planted Campanula spp. and Lilium spp. in the garden. Vita Sackvill-West aims at the moonlight in a summer night and features Delphinium spp., Rosa mulliganii, and R. longicuspis. The color of the flowers is in white, varying from pure white, ivory and silver. To prevent monotony due to monocolor flowers, the forms of the flowers are intense. To make white flowers look better, the colors of leaves include light green, light gray and bright and greenish yellow. Overall, cool colors are used to give a mystique, coolness, cleanness and to produce an fascinating and plaintive atmosphere, getting joined with white flowers and reflected light in the night. The White Garden has made significance in the history of landscape architecture: it was the starting point of garden design through theme colors, based on the idea and technology of planting design methods that discover the potential of colors and withdraw limits. And it also made a significant contribution to the advancement of garden art with combinations by aesthetic principles.

영국정원에서의 색상중심의 재식설계방법 -먼스태드 우드, 시싱허스트, 그레이트 딕스터, 히드콧 매너를 중심으로-

가와바타 야스나리(川端康成)의『설국(雪)』론 -색채표현과 주제와의 관련양상을 중심으로-

本硏究は川端康成の雪國を中心として色彩表現と、それが表現しようとする主題との關聯性について考察した。ここで論者はその高察結果を次のように整理してみることができきる。 雪國は川端康成がヨーロッパの前衛派藝術の影響を受けて起したいわば「新感覺派運動」や「新心理主義」の手法を止揚、東洋風の「寫實的象徵」手法を取り入れる過程で、日本の〈自然〉を發見し、それとその中で根を下して暮していく人間を素材として兩者の係わり方を取り上げている。ここで彼は兩者の特性を抒情に基づいた視覺性に富んだ文體で書いていったのである。抒情の主體として視覺性を圖るのはやはり色彩である。その色彩要素はさまざまな現象を見せているが、中でも一番目を引く色彩要素は「赤」,「白」,「黑」である。內容に從うそれぞれの持つ固有のイメージは「赤」の生命感、「白」,「黑」はともに死の意味がある。川端康成は視點人物である島村にして春、夏、そして冬の間、雪國を3回にかけて訪れさせ、彼の意識に觸れる人間や自然物などの移り行き樣を色彩によって使いこなしたわけである。その結果、作品の前半部は主には島村が深い愛情を持って會って行くヒロイン駒子の淸潔で美しい肌を「赤」を中心に多用し、後半部に行っては時間の過つによる季節の變化にしたがってじわじわ變って行く駒子や自然物のイメージを「白」,「黑」で描い出したのである。川端康成はこのような仕組みで「赤」から「白」,「黑」への移行は生命から死への動きを示そうとしたのである。このようにみてみると、これはテーマである人間とはいつも變化してやまない自然と相俟って絶えず變化していく存在であるという事實ときっちりかみ合うわけである。もちろん讀者によってはそれぞれ見方が違うわけだが、論者は川端康成の自然觀や人間觀に照らしつけて考えてみるとか參考資料などを調べるとかの方法などで考察して見た結果、充分そいうふうに納得し得ると思うのである。川端康成は雪國を一つのきっかけとして色彩表現は彼の代表作を通してなおさら深化させて行ったのである。

Fashion Color Planning Using Fabric Dyeing of Local Natural Resources-Focused on Persimmon, Citrus, and Brown Algae in Jeju-

This study was aimed to characterize the color of cotton fabric dyed with three different natural resources such as persimmon, citrus, and brown algae and to propose new trend color themes for fashion color planning for babies and kids wear. A variety of color by dyeing cotton fabric with persimmon, citrus, and brown algae respectively was obtained and their colorimetric properties in Munsell’s H V/C and PCCS tone were investigated. Each color was also determined if it could be matched with one of Pantone TPX. Authorized color trends for 2015 Spring/Summer were analyzed and a new trend color based on 2015 SS trend was proposed for naturally dyed cotton fabric in this study. As results, the three natural dyeing resources gave color gamut with hue ranging from Purple Blue to Green Yellow and with tone including pale, light grayish, soft, grayish, and dull by their single and compound dyeing. A total of 21 colors were revealed as matched to Pantone TPX and they were considered to be invited into a new color trend suggestion for the fashion color planning by natural dyeing. Finally three differentiated color themes were proposed as ‘Classy’, ‘Purity’, and ‘Delicately’. The ‘Classy’ generally shows classic images in which rural healing concept and artificial feeling are combined with each other by including red and orange shades from persimmon dyeing. As for the theme ‘Purity’, light tone and yellowish shade mainly from citrus could be expressed as related to clear and fresh image in current color trend and as evolved into a new purity with poetic and moderate minimalism. Finally the ‘Delicately’ explains that pinkish shades with pale, light grayish, and dull tone may let us feel motherhood elegance as well as mysterious naturalism.

테마파크 환경 공간의 색채디자인에 관한 연구

. As the economy continues to develop, the number of theme parks around the world is soaring and the number of tourists is increasing year by year. In the post-COVID era, people all want to escape from their monotonous and dull daily lives, fall into the dreamy, novel, and tense atmosphere created by the theme park, and also have a pleasant emotional experience. The environmental space of the theme park is a factor that directly interacts with visitors and directly affects the emotional experience of visitors. Color design is also a key element of envi- ronmental space design, so color design should receive more attention and research. Color de- sign can strengthen the theme, create an atmosphere, guide tourists' movements, and provide rich emotional experiences to deepen and increase the brand's influence. This study explored the relationship between color and the environmental space components of the theme park, the technique and principles of color design, and the impact of color on the theme park atmos- phere, psychological experience, and emotional empathy for tourists through theoretical research and best practice analysis.

네트워크 분석을 통한 크라우드소싱 배색 데이터 연구

좋은 배색을 탐구하였던 대부분의 기존 연구들은 일정한 배색의 규칙을 찾고, 이를 검증하는 방식으로 진행되어왔다. 하지만 이러한 방식은 정해진 규칙을 만족하는 배색을 조합하는 데에만 집중하여, 시대와 상황에 따라 변화하는 감성을 반영하지 못하는 단점을 가지고 있었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 사람들이 인지하는 감성과 트렌드를 반영한 배색의 특징을 이해하고자, 다수의 사용자가 직접 구성하고 평가한 크라우드소싱 데이터를 활용하였다. 또한 이 데이터를 분석함에 있어서 네트워크 분석기법을 도입하여, 여러 개의 색이 어우러져 하나의 조합을 이루는 배색의 관계적인 측면에 집중하고, 다수의 배색테마를 하나의 네트워크로 구성하여 거시적인 발견점을 얻고자 하였다. 이에 Adobe Color CCⓒ에서 수집된 약 7천 여 개의 테마를 네트워크로 시각화하고, 근접중심성을 계산하여 전체 배색 네트워크에서 인기 있는 색상과 보편적인 색을 파악하였다. 또한 커뮤니티 분석기법을 활용하여 조화로운 배색을 제안하는 방법을, LIWC를 활용하여 테마명을 분석하여 감성과 상황에 맞는 배색을 제안하는 방법을 탐색하였으며, 그 가능성을 확인하였다. The studies on harmonious color combinations have mainly identified the quantitative relationship within a set of harmonious colors and approval of the relationship. However, such methods are not easily capable of creating a new color combination. Moreover, it hardly reflects the changes of trend. In this regard, we utilized the crowd-sourced data that the crowd created color combinations and assessed their preference for them. Approximately 7,000 color themes were collected from Adobe Color CCⓒ and utilized for a network analysis. The network analysis supports a quick and easy visualization of color data, and helps to quantify the universality of each color by a closeness centrality measure. We also applied a community detection and LIWC dictionary in order to explore a way of generating harmonious and affective schemes. The results shows that the crowd-sourced data might be a good source to suggest appropriate color schemes when combined with proper methods.

네트워크 분석을 이용한 빅데이터 속 배색 특성의 이해

기존의 배색연구는 대부분 제한된 양의 데이터 내에서 일정한 배색의 규칙을 찾고 이를 검증하는 방식으로 진행되어 왔다. 이에 본 연구는 대중들의 관심와 트렌드를 반영한 배색의 특징을 이해하고 이를 배색 추천에 활용하기 위해 사용자가 직접 구성하고 평가한 배색 빅데이터를 활용하였다. 또한 색상 데이터를 분석함에 있어서 최초로 네트워크 분석을 시도하여, 여러 개의 색이 어우러져 하나의 조합을 이루는 배색조합의 관계적인 측면을 분석코자 하였다. 그 결과, 약 7천 여개 배색조합에서 인기 있는 색상과 보편적인 색상을 파악할 수 있었으며, 더 나아가 조화로운 배색을 위해 네트워크 분석이 활용될 수 있는 예 또한 제시하였다.
