오수혈(五輸穴)을 이용한 침법(鍼法)의 비교(比較) 고찰(考察) -사암침법(舍岩鍼法), 태극침법(太極鍼法), 팔체질침법(八體質鍼法) 중심(中心)으로-

Objectives : Sa-am Acupucture(舍岩鍼法), Taeguk Acupucture(太極鍼法), and 8 Constitution-Acupuncture(八體質鍼法) are largely used acupuncture therapies which utilize Yin and Yang, The Five Elements, Interpromoting and Counteracting Relation(相生 相克 關係). We are here to compare and study each acupuncture methods in order to understand their fundamental principle and theory. Conclusion : 1. When prescribing Herb to patients, we can use the Differentiation of Syndromes method(辨證論治). As there is Constitutional Medicine prescription(四象醫學處方) using constitutional Large & Small Relation of Jang and Bu organs(臟腑大小 關係), in acupuncture treatment we can use the Differentiation of Syndromes method of Sa-am acupucture, applying constitutional Large & Small feature of Jang and Bu organs(臟腑大小) in Taeguk Acupucture and 8 Constitution Acupuncture we can derive a suitable prescriptions. 2. Taeguk Acupucture and 8 Constitution Acupuncture is an acupunture method created upon the constitutional theory. Taeguk Acupucture lacks a theory and has problems with its practical use. 8 Constitution-Acupuncture has a theory, thus it can give us the chance to make derived diverse prescriptions for each diseases. 3. Sa-am Acupucture uses exclusively Manual technique(手技法), breathing Posa method(呼吸補瀉法), YoungSu Posa method(迎隨補瀉法) and also retaining method(留鍼法). Taeguk Acupunctune is directed related with WonBang Posa method(圓方補瀉法), twirling method(撚鍼法) and uses retaining method. 8 Constitution-Acupuncture works only with YoungSu Posa method and also One-insertion method(單刺法). 4. If we apply The Five Elements of five Su points and Interpromoting and Counteracting Relation(相生 相克 關係), we can control discords between Jang and Bu organs. Sa-am Acupucture, Taeguk Acupture and 8 Constitution Acupuncture which use five Su points can make better results in Jang and Bu organs disease. 5. Sa-am Acupunture needs diverse applications of Organ picture theory(臟象論), Pathogenesis theory(病機學說) and an proper prescription studies by Differentiation of Syndromes(辨證). Taeguk Acupuncture and 8 Constitution Acupuncture has a organized prescription methods by constitutional Large & Small relation of Jang and Bu organs(臟腑大小), thus we need to focus on objectification in constitutional differentiation.

오공약침(蜈蚣藥鍼)을 이용한 수근관 증후군(Carpal tunnel syndrome) 치료의 임상적 연구

Objectives : This study is performed for the purpose of examining into the efficacy of the scolopendrid herbal acupucture which has been used among the Korean people for the Carpal tunnel syndrome. Methods : 40 carpal tunnel syndrome patients who visited Won-kwang University Hospital during the period from January 1998 to December 2004 were analysed for clinical manifestations. After we divided patients into two classes at random, we treated them with scolopendrid herbal acupucture or not. Treatment efficiency was monitored through VAS(Visual Analog Scale) and clinical symptom. Conclusion : We brought to the conclusion that the scolopendrid herbal acupucture has possibility to be efficient to cure the carpal tunnel syndrome patients. So we suggest the possibility to use this new remedy for the carpal tunnel syndrome.

頸項痛에 대한 臨床的硏究

The conclusions of this study are based on the analysis of clinical observations and treatments of twenty two patients who have received acupucture treatment, physical therapy and herbal medication in the Wonkwang Oriental Hospital from 8st march 2000yr to 11nd Jauary 2001yr. The results were analyzed as follows : Background and Purpose : To evaluate the effect of treatment for cervical pain by using acupucture treatment, physical therapy and herbal medication. Object and Methods : Evaluated the result of oriental medical treatment with cervical pain at Ik-San Oriental medical hospital in affiliation with wonkwang university. Results : 1. In the distribution of treatment periods, the most frequent cases were "one to two week" with 8cases (36.36%). 2. In the analysis of the radiation result, HIVD and Degenerative change respectively were 9 cases (21.96.8%). 3. The effect of treatment by ses & age was as follows : "Exellent" was the most number of 40&50 generation and "Good", "Improved" was the most number of 30&60 generation. 4. The effect of treatment by duration was as follows : 1-2week was the most improved highly. 5. In the distribution of treatment progression : 9cases (40.90%) were "good". 7cases (31.82%) were "excellent". 6cases (27.27%) were "fair". Conclusions : These results shows that the effect of treatment by acupucture treatment, physical therapy and herbal medication is exellent by relaxing contracted muscles, strengthening weakened ligaments and improving inflammatory parts.

舍岩鍼法 처방 형성 과정 고찰

Objectives : The authors performed this study to further understand Saam acupuncture method in an aspect of formation process. Methods : We were finding Saam's idea in a preface of the book. And we analyzed Saam acupuncture patterns to understand their formation. Results & Conclusion : We assume that Saam acupuncture patterns has formed over time. We were able to split their patters into three phases. That is Primitive-phase, Basic-phase and Practical-phase. We think they are traces of Formation Process. In the first, Saam found DongHaeng-acupoints that have in common Five Element between the five viscera and acupoint. And then, he compounded other meridian's DongHeng-acupoints to control self meridian. Finally acupoints of self meridian were added.

소장정격으로 호전된 크론병 환자의 사마귀 치험 1례

Objectives:The purpose of this study was to inform the effectiveness of Sa-Am acupucture tonifying small intestine meridian (So-Jang-Jeong-Gyeok) on verruca plana of Crohn`s disease patient. Methods:The patient was treated with Sa-Am acupuncture totally 10 times with the frequency of twice a week. The effectiveness was evaluated using harvey-Bradshaw index and the status of surface such as skin color and size of prominentia of the verruca plana. Results:The status of surface has become clearer markedly than before acupuncture. Conclusions:Sa-Am acupuncture of So-Jang-Jeong-Gyeok can be a useful treatment for the verruca plana of Crohn`s disease patient.

담정격으로 호전된 불면증 치험례

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report that acupuncture of Damjeonggyeok(tonifying GB in Sa-Am acupucture) can be effective on chronic insomnia. Methods : The patients were treated with Sa-Am acupucture(Damjeonggyeok) added with HT8 and KI6, once a week. Treatments were performed for 20 minutes. The effectiveness was evaluated using total sleep hours and subjective sleep quality based on the Insomnia Severity Index. Result and Conclusions : In all patients, the sleep quality evaluated with the Insomnia Severity Index has shown amelioration and sleeping time was increased. Also, they quit the insomnia pills. Acupuncture at Damjeonggyeok added with HT8 and KI6 seems to be able to one of useful therapies for the sleep disorder in chronic insomnia.

중풍 편마비 환자의 견관절 통증에 대한 생강약침과 봉독약침의 효과

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of Zingiberis Rhizoma herbal acupuncture therapy and Bee Venom herbal acupuncture therapy on the poststroke hemiplegic shoulder pain. Methods : This study was carried out on the 23 patients with hemiplegic shoulder pain. Subjects were divided into 2 groups; ZG(Zingiberis Rhizoma Herbal acupuncture therapy group), BV(Bee Venom Herbal acupuncture therapy group). Manual muscle test(MMT), Visual Analog Scale(VAS) and shoulder ROM were evaluated before treatment, after 1week and after 2weeks. Results : In MMT and VAS, both ZG and BV had effectiveness, and In ROM, ZG had some effectiveness on abduction and flexion, but BV had effectiveness on all movement. There was no significant difference between two groups in the MMT and VAS. Conclusions : In the study, Both herbal acupuncture therapy had effectiveness on the poststroke hemiplegic shoulder pain, but bee venom herbal acupuncture was more effective in pain level.

Atlanto-Axial Fracture-Dislocation (환축추 골절 및 탈구) 환자 1례(例)에 대한 증례보고

Objective : By process of treatment for a case which diagnosed as Atlanto-Axial Fracture-Dislocation and admitted from the 2nd, December, 2000 to the 18th, December, 2000, the results are as follows. Methods : Clinical observation and analysis about a case of Atlanto-Axial Fracture-Dislocation was done, who visited Dong-in-dang Oriental Medicine Hospital. This case is managed by integrated therapy of oriental medicine. This patient was diagnosed as stagnation of Ki and stasis of blood(氣滯血瘀), deficiency of Um of the liver and kidneys(肝腎陰虛) and medicated gamisekyung-tang(加味舒經湯) and kanghwalsokdan-tang(羌話續斷湯). As acupucture treatments, we could get the effective results by providing the patient with acupuncture on the nape, shoulder, Lt upper limb and Rt distant point Conclusion : We could get the effective results that case of Atlanto-Axial Fracture-Dislocation with severe rigid neck and Motor disturb of neck, was treated with oriental medicine and acupuncture therapy.

안면마비 후유증 치료에 대한 국내외 임상연구 고찰

Objectives : The aim of this study is to review clinical studies of facial palsy sequelae treatment Methods : We used search engines such as PUBMED, OASIS, RISS. We limited sequelae as the cases after three months from the onset. We excluded the studies including operational treatments. We considered papers pubulished only after year 2000. Results : The kinds of treatments were acupunture treatment, physical therapy, Botulinum toxin, and steroids and antiviral agent. Four studies about acupuncture treatment were searched. Two were case studies and the other two were case series studies. Six studies about physical therapy were searched and they were devided into three according to their specific methods – neuromuscular training and biofeedback, electrical stimulation, and facial exercises. We reviewed three studies about Botulinum toxin and 3 studies about combined therapy. Conclusions : Evidence level of the acupuncture studies was not high. Neuromuscular retraining and biofeedback therapies were shown to be effective especially to synkinesis. Mime therapy, one of the facial exercise has significant effect. Electrical stimulation is thought to activate the plasticity of central nerve system. Botulimum Toxin has effective temporary treatment. Steroid therapy increases recovery rate and reduces sequelae.
