        Infliximab으로 호전된 장관 증상없이 발생한 구강-안면 크론병

        Crohn`s disease is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that can involve the whole gastrointestinal tract. The orofacial manifestation of Crohn`s disease, which is rare, can develop irrespective of intestinal involvement. These orofacial lesions are often misdiagnosed as simple oral ulcers. Corticosteroids are the mainstay of therapy for orofacial Crohn`s disease. However, infliximab, the chimeric monoclonal antibody to tumor necrosis factor-α, is now considered as a primary treatment because of the disease`s relatively high rate of steroid resistance. We present a case of deep oral ulcer and periorbital swelling in a 65-year-old woman. She was diagnosed with intestinal Crohn`s disease 7 years ago, which was in remission after treatment with an immunosuppressive agent (azathioprine). The patient was given the diagnosed with orofacial Crohn`s disease and successfully treated with infliximab. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2012;59:437-440)

      • 花卉類 揷木을 위한 非汚染用土 開發에 관한 硏究

        磨沙를 揷木用土로 開發코자 單用 혹은 Vermiculite와 연탄재를 混合한 15種의 用土를 調劑하여 Carnation 및 菊花를 揷木하여 發根을 調査한 바 다음과 같은 結果를 얻었다. 1) 磨沙는 壤質粗砂土로 酸度는 弱酸性이었다. 2) Carnation, 菊花 揷木用土의 圃場容水量은 30∼47.8%, 全孔隙量은 50∼64.9%의 範圍였다. 3) Carnation發根은 磨砂單用으로 1㎜∼2㎜(a₁), 2㎜∼3㎜(a₂)로 篩別한 것이 좋았다. 4) 菊花의 發根은 磨砂單用으로 2㎜(b₁), 3㎜(b₂)로 篩別한 것이나 약간의 Vermiclite를 混合한 것이 좋았다.(b₂3:V1) 5) Carnation 混合用土로는 地溫이 高溫(23.9℃)일 때 연탄재가 좋고 低溫(19.8℃) 일때는 Vermiculite가 좋았다. 6) 菊花의 混合用土로는 Vermiculite가 좋았다. In order to develope the rooting media, the rooting experiment by cuttings the carnation and chrysanthemum was performed with 15 kinds of rooting media treated by Loamy Crude Sandy Soil, or Vermiculite mixed with Briquet Ash, and the results discussed were as follows. 1) Masa(rooting media) was Loamy Crude Sand and was represented a little acidity. 2) Water Capacity of rooting media was 30∼47.8%, and the porosity was 50∼64.9%. 3) It was much better for Carnation rooting to use Loamy Crude Sand aline which sifted by 1∼2㎜(a₁), or 2∼3㎜(a₂). 4) It was rather good for Chrysanthemum rooting to use Loamy Crude Sand which ifted by 2㎜(b₁) or 3㎜(b₂), and was much better to mix the Vermiculite with it(b₂3:V1). 5) As the mixed media for Carnation, Briquet Ash was better than any other when the soil temperature was high(23.9℃), and Vermiculite was better than the others, when it was below(19.8℃). 6) As the mixed media for Chrysanthemum, Vermiculite was recommended.

      • 藥劑處理가 단감 果實成熟 및 貯藏에 미치는 影響

        단감의 果實成熟促進과 貯藏性을 높이기 위하여 藥劑를 處理하여 얻어진 試驗結果는 다음과 같다. 1) 進永地方의 단감 Ethrel 撒布適期는 9月25日경으로 思料된다. 2) Ethrel撒布(9月25日)한 果實은 無處理보다 8∼10日 成熟이 促進되었다. 3) 9月25日의 全面撒布는 果面撒布에 比해 果重, 硬度, tannie이 낮았고 糖度는 높았다. 全面撒布는 無處理에 比해 果重, tannin이 낮았고 糖度는 높았으며 果面撒布는 無處理에 比해 果重, 糖度는 높았고 硬度, tannin은 낮은 現狀을 나타내었다. 4) 10月4日 撒布한 果重은 Ethrel 50ppm(B₂)이 높았고 硬度와 糖度 및 tannin은 9月25日 處理와 同一한 傾向이었다. 5) Ethrel撒布는 果實 成熟을 促進시키는 동시에 軟化現狀이 增加되었다. 6) Gibberellin 混合區(50ppm)는 果實硬度가 增加하여 貯藏效果는 높았고 果實의 肥大는 多少 中止된 傾向이 나타났다. 7) 2.4.5-TP區는 硬度가 낮아 貯藏效果도 낮았으며 成熟效果는 多少있었다. In order to increase the fruit ripening acceleration of sweet persimmon, used chemicals treatment and obtined the examination results as follows: 1) The suitable time of Ethrel spray on sweet persimmon is considered about on September 25th. 2) The fruit fo sprayed Ethrel on September 25th was accelerated the ripening for 8 to 10 days. 3) The whole surface spray on September 25th was showed lower of fruit's weight, hardness, tannin and the sweetness higher than the fruit surface sprayed. * The whole surface spray was showed lower of fruit weight, tannin and higher of sweetness than control. * The fruit surface sprayed was showed higher of fruit weight and sweetness and lower of hardness and tannin than control. 4) The fruit weight sprayed on October 4th was high of Ethrel 50ppm, and the hardness, sweetness and tannin were tended to the same as treated on September 25th. 5) Etherel spray section had increased the softening as well as accelerate the fruit ripening. 6) Gibberellin mixed section had increased the fruit bardness and raised the storage effect, however the fruit fleshiness was showed some suspensible tendency. 7) 2,4,5-TP Section was showed the low of hardness and storage effect, however it had some ripening effect.

        Deoxypodophyllotoxin Induces a Th1 Response and Enhances the Antitumor Efficacy of a Dendritic Cell-based Vaccine

        Background: Dendritic cell (DC)-based vaccines are currently being evaluated as a novel strategy for tumor vaccination and immunotherapy. However, inducing long-term regression in established tumor-implanted mice is difficult. Here, we show that deoxypohophyllotoxin (DPT) induces maturation and activation of bone marrow-derived DCs via Toll-like receptor (TLR) 4 activation of MAPK and NF-${\kappa}B$. Methods: The phenotypic and functional maturation of DPT-treated DCs was assessed by flow cytometric analysis and cytokine production, respectively. DPT-treated DCs was also used for mixed leukocyte reaction to evaluate T cell-priming capacity and for tumor regression against melanoma. Results: DPT promoted the activation of $CD8^+$ T cells and the Th1 immune response by inducing IL-12 production in DCs. In a B16F10 melanoma-implanted mouse model, we demonstrated that DPT-treated DCs (DPT-DCs) enhance immune priming and regression of an established tumor in vivo. Furthermore, migration of DPT-DCs to the draining lymph nodes was induced via CCR7 upregulation. Mice that received DPT-DCs displayed enhanced antitumor therapeutic efficacy, which was associated with increased IFN-${\gamma}$ production and induction of cytotoxic T lymphocyte activity. Conclusion: These findings strongly suggest that the adjuvant effect of DPT in DC vaccination is associated with the polarization of T effector cells toward a Th1 phenotype and provides a potential therapeutic antitumor immunity.

        An Endoskeleton Framework Biped Robot, "ADDAM" with Coupled Link Mechanism

        This paper describes an endoskeleton anthropomorphic biped robot design and construction. The endoskeleton structure is aimed for robot's high power efficiency over its weight, but it demands unique structure and devices of the robot coping with the complexity. The gadgets newly developed for the robot such as a linear actuator, coupled link mechanism, inertia and Zero Moment Point(ZMP) sensors are described. The corresponding design procedure inevitably becomes sophisticated, so the powerful design tool to deal with this difficulty is utilized, and the way is explained. Feedback control scheme was established for its stable walking. Based on the outcome of the design, analysis, and simulation data, the actual robot was constructed and the paper shows its successful experimental results.

        In this paper a design methodology is presented for a construction robot which performs fastening bolts. Dynamic forces exerting on the robot structure are simulated using multi-body dynamic analysis when the robot moves along the three axial guides and rotates about Z axis. Finite element stress analysis is carried out to evaluate stress levels at the critical locations based on the dynamic loading conditions. Safety design can be validated to meet the design requirements.

        The distribution of double labeled P^(32) and Ca^(45) in the various tissues were investigated in fourty chicken. The results obtained were as follows: 1) The highest differences were observed in the thyroid gland between the sex in 24 hrs. after double administration of P^(32) and Ca^(45). 2) Generally, the distribution of double administrated P^(32) and Ca^(45) were higher in 24 hours than in one hour. 3) The sequence of the distribution of P^(32) and Ca^(45) in Various tissue were, thyroid gland, femur, adrenal, genital organs, pituitary, kidney, liver, spleen, brain, and G-muscle.

        강철 토캡이 안전화 내 발바닥 압력에 미치는 영향

        Background: To compare the peak plantar pressure of steel toe cap in safety boots. Methods: Twenty five normal subjects were enrolled in this study. Safety boots which have steel toe cap in front part of shoes, were fabricated by GSD Co., Busan, Korea. Plantar pressure was measured by using PEDAR System?? (Novel gmbh, Munich, Germany) during comfortable walking. Peak plantar pressure was analyzed by PEDAR C-expert program at different foot area such as T0 (whole foot), T1 (great toe), T2 (2nd, 3rd toes), T3 (4th, 5th toes), T4 (medial fore foot), T5 (middle fore foot), T6(lateral fore foot), T7 (medial mid foot), T8 (lateral mid foot), T9 (medial hind foot) and T10 (lateral hind foot). Results: Peak plantar pressure in shoes with steel toe cap was higher than in shoes without toe cap at T0, T1, T3, T4 and T6 area. Peak plantar pressure in shoes with steel toe cap was lower than in shoes without toe cap at T2, T7 and T9 area. Conclusion: The peak plantar pressure was increased in the edge of toe cap surrounded by steel in safety boots. 연구배경: 강철 토캡(toe cap)이 안전화 내 발바닥 부위별 압력에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 족부 질환의 기왕력이 없고 발의 변형이 없는 건강한 성인 남성 25명을 대상으로 하였다. 실험에 사용한 신발은 안전화 SD-1Ⓡ (GSD Co., Busan, Korea)와 작업화 SJK-01Ⓡ (GSD Co., Busan, Korea)를 사용하였다. 발바닥의 압력은 PEDAR-SystemⓇ (Novel gmbh, Munich, Germany)을 이용하여 측정하였고, 분석은 PEDAR-C expertⓇ (Novel gmbh, Munich, Germany) 프로그램을 이용하였다. 발바닥 구역은 T0는 발바닥 전체, T1구역은 엄지 발가락, T2구역은 둘째, 셋째 발가락, T3구역은 넷째, 다섯째 발가락, T4구역은 전족부의 내측, T5구역은 전족부의 중앙, T6의 구역은 전족부 외측, T7구역은 중족부의 내측, T8 구역은 중족부의 외측, T9구역은 후족부의 내측, T10구역은 후족부의 외측의 총 11부분으로 나누었다. 토캡이 있는 안전화와 토캡이 없는 작업화의 우측 신발 내 구역별 발바닥 최고 압력을 구하여 서로 비교하였다. 결과: 강철 토캡이 있는 안전화에서 발바닥 전체(T0), 엄지 발가락(T1), 넷째, 다섯째 발가락(T3), 전족부 내측, 외측부위(T4, 6)의 최고 압력이 작업화보다 유의하게 높았다. 둘째, 셋째 발가락(T2), 중족부 내측(T7), 후족부 내측(T9)에서의 최고 압력은 강철 토캡이 있는 안전화에서 유의하게 낮았다. 결론: 강철 토캡을 사용한 경우 발가락과 전족부의 내외측 최고 압력이 증가한다. 즉, 강철 재질로 둘러싸인 부위의 최고 압력이 증가한다. 따라서 당뇨 환자나 사지 말단부의 손상 위험이 높은 사람이 강철 토캡이 있는 안전화를 착용할 경우 더욱 주의를 요한다.
