Enhanced photoluminescence from KCl flux assisted Eu3+ doped CaTiO3 red phosphor for temperature sensing

        Xiuying Tian,Lei Li,Mengyuan Wei,Changyan Ji,Zhi Huang,Xin Liu,Jin Wen,Yangxi Peng 한양대학교 세라믹연구소 2021 Journal of Ceramic Processing Research Vol.22 No.5

CaTiO3: Eu3+ red phosphors with high thermal stability and temperature sensitivity were synthesized by KCl flux assisted solidphase reaction method and they had orthorhombic perovskite phase. CaTiO3:15%Eu3+ had the irregular particle structure, with mean particle size of about 1.58 μm, while CaTiO3:15%Eu3+ +6%KCl also had the irregular particle structure, with meanparticle size of about 2.25 μm. When Eu3+ ion concentration was 15mol%, concentration quenching phenomenon took place, which could be explained by electric dipole-dipole interaction due to the critical Eu3+- Eu3+ distance of ~ 8.93 Å. We found thatKCl flux could increase the particle size and crystallinity, which was beneficial to luminescence property. Based on the PLspectra excited at 398 nm, the color coordinates of CaTiO3:15%Eu3+ were (0.5911, 0.4008) and the color purity was 97.7%,while the color coordinates of sample CaTiO3:15%Eu3++ 6%KCl were (0.6042, 0.3895) and the color purity was 98.4%. Therelative intensity IR1 and IR2 at 423 K is 87. 29% and 83. 22%, indicating the sample had high thermal stability. Based on TCLsFIR, Sr of CaTiO3:15%Eu3+ is 2322.67/T^2. CaTiO3:Eu3+ red phosphor was expected to be a promising inorganic material forpossible applications in temperature sensing.

Electrophysiologic Characteristics of Nitrous-Oxide-Associated Peripheral Neuropathy: A Retrospective Study of 76 Patients

        Xiuying Fang,Miao Yu,Dongming Zheng,Han Gao,Weishuai Li,Ying Ma 대한신경과학회 2023 Journal of Clinical Neurology Vol.19 No.1

Background and Purpose The electrophysiologic characteristics of peripheral neuropathy secondary to nitrous oxide (N2O) abuse remain unclear. The paper therefore aimed to summarize the electrophysiologic characteristics of N2O-associated peripheral neuropathy and identify the risk factors of severe nerve injury. Methods The electrophysiologic results and clinical data of patients with peripheral neuropathy secondary to N2O abuse at our hospital between 2018 and 2020 were analyzed retrospectively, and their electrophysiologic changes were summarized. Results Most patients exhibited decreased sensory and motor nerve conduction velocities (75% and 76%), decreased sensory nerve and compound motor action potentials (57% and 59%), and prolonged distal motor latency (59%), while a response was absent in 36%. These findings indicate that N2O abuse can result in generalized injury to sensory and motor nerves. Electrophysiologic results indicated axonal neuropathy in 37 cases (49%), demyelinating peripheral neuropathy in 4 (5%), and mixed neuropathy in 12 (16%). Peripheral nerve injury was more common in the lower limbs (72%) than in the upper limbs (42%, p<0.0001). The upper and lower limbs were primarily affected by sensory nerve demyelination (35%) and motor axonal injury (67%), respectively. Subgroup analysis indicated that longer N2O exposure and longer disease course were associated with more-severe motor axonal injury in the lower limbs. Conclusions N2O-associated peripheral neuropathy can lead to sensory and motor nerve injury, with axonal injury being the most common. Injuries were more severe in the lower limbs. Prolonged N2O exposure and disease course increased the severity of motor axonal injury in the lower limbs.

Adaptive robust target tracking control of marching tank under high-speed maneuvering condition

        Cong Li,Guolai Yang,Xiuye Wang,Yuze Ma,Liqun Wang,Quanzhao Sun 대한기계학회 2022 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.36 No.6

This paper focuses on the problem of target tracking control of marching tanks under the condition of high-speed maneuver based on sliding mode disturbance observer. First, the dynamic model of marching tank is established by using multi-body dynamics software. The nonlinear factors such as barrel flexibility, clearance between barrel and bushing, and uncertainty sources such as road excitation are considered. Second, the mechatronics model of tank bidirectional stabilization system considering transmission clearance and friction is established in numerical simulation software. Aiming at the tank bidirectional stabilization system, an adaptive robust controller based on sliding mode disturbance observer is designed. Finally, the real-time control and target tracking of the tank bidirectional stabilization system are realized by co-simulation. The results show that the sliding mode disturbance observer improves the stability accuracy of the system by 43.22 %. Comparing the simulation results with the PID control, the controller designed in this paper has the characteristics of rapid tracking speed and high robustness, and the advantage is more obvious under the condition of highspeed maneuver.

Improved Gradient-descent-based Control Algorithms for Multi-agent Systems With Fixed and Switching Topology

Jiahang Lu,Xiuying Li 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2023 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.21 No.11

In this paper, model free adaptive control algorithms are proposed based on ten improved gradient descent methods which are commonly used as optimization algorithms in deep learning. For the designed control scheme, the modelling, control and optimization can be integrated in a unified framework. The effects of ten algorithms on the consensus tracking performance in multi-agent systems are studied and compared. In order to get a more universal conclusion, systems with fixed and switching topology are considered respectively. Simulation results show that the model free adaptive control algorithm based on adaptive momentum estimation method with decoupled weight decay (AdamW) has optimal performance.

KCl flux-assisted CaTiO3: Pr3+ red phosphors for temperature sensing

        Xin Liu,Xiuying Tian,Huiyan Sheng,Changyan Ji,Zhi Huang,Jin Wen,Hongxia Peng,Ling Zhu,Jing Li,Ping Liu,Yangxi Peng,Guowen Li 한양대학교 청정에너지연구소 2024 Journal of Ceramic Processing Research Vol.25 No.2

The red CaTiO3: Pr3+ phosphors were fabricated by employing a solid-state method using KCl flux, and investigated fortemperature sensing. There were no structural changes observed with increasing KCl concentration, and no impuritieswere detected. The obtained crystal structure was identified as an orthorhombic perovskite, belonging to space group ofPnma(62). The typical sample exhibited spherical particles (1-2 μm). The optical bandgap of the sample was measured to beapproximately 3.62 eV. Notably, when the KCl concentration reached 3%, the sample exhibited the highest photoluminescenceintensity, indicating excellent crystallization strength. They closely resembled the chromaticity coordinates of ideal red lightbased on CIE chromaticity diagram, and the color purity was determined to be 79.51%. Furthermore, the absolute sensitivity(Sa) was approximately as high as 0.148 K-1, while the relative sensitivity (Sr) reached approximately a high value of 6.57% K-1,which highlights the significant potential of optical thermometry.

      • Design of 3-electrode system for <i>in situ</i> monitoring direct methanol fuel cells during long-time running test at high temperature

        Liu, Guicheng,Li, Xinyang,Wang, Hui,Liu, Xiuying,Chen, Ming,Woo, Jae Young,Kim, Ji Young,Wang, Xindong,Lee, Joong Kee Elsevier 2017 APPLIED ENERGY Vol.197 No.-

<P>To understand the effect mechanisms of long-time running and high operation temperature on performance of the direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) more clearly and directly, in this paper, a new design of 3-electrode system with a solution-type salt bridge has been developed to distinguish the integral polarization into anodic and cathodic polarizations at various temperatures and explore the attenuation mechanism by in situ monitoring the potential of anode during long-time running process at 80 degrees C, for the first time. The results indicate that the optimized 3-electrode system consists of a standard calomel electrode (SCE) and a solution-type salt bridge placed in the anode hole filled by 0.5 mol L-1 H2SO4 solution. By utilization of the 3-electrode system, the effect mechanisms of the running temperature and time on electrochemical parameters of the DMFC have been found: (1) The increasing operation temperature improves cathodic performance more significantly than that of anode; (2) the attenuation of fuel cell performance mainly comes from that of anode during the 20-h running test at 80 degrees C, resulting from the sharp drop of electrochemical active surface area of anode. More important, the new 3-electrode system has simplified the detection equipment and reduced the operating difficulty in a practical application for DMFCs, resulting in its portability. Glutamate attenuates lipopolysaccharide induced intestinal barrier injury by regulating corticotropin-releasing factor pathway in weaned pigs

        Guo Junjie,Liang Tianzeng,Chen Huifu,Li Xiangen,Ren Xiaorui,Wang Xiuying,Xiao Kan,Zhao Jiangchao,Zhu Huiling,Liu Yulan 아세아·태평양축산학회 2022 Animal Bioscience Vol.35 No.8

Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the protection of glutamate (GLU) against the impairment in intestinal barrier function induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stress in weaned pigs. Methods: Twenty-four weaned pigs were divided into four treatments containing: i) nonchallenged control, ii) LPS-challenged control, iii) LPS+1.0% GLU, and iv) LPS+2.0% GLU. On day 28, pigs were treated with LPS or saline. Blood samples were collected at 0, 2, and 4 h post-injection. After blood samples collection at 4 h, all pigs were slaughtered, and spleen, mesenteric lymph nodes, liver and intestinal samples were obtained. Results: Dietary GLU supplementation inhibited the LPS-induced oxidative stress in pigs, as demonstrated by reduced malondialdehyde level and increased glutathione level in jejunum. Diets supplemented with GLU enhanced villus height, villus height/crypt depth and claudin-1 expression, attenuated intestinal histology and ultrastructure impairment induced by LPS. Moreover, GLU supplementation reversed intestinal intraepithelial lymphocyte number decrease and mast cell number increase induced by LPS stress. GLU reduced serum cortisol concentration at 4 h after LPS stress and downregulated the mRNA expression of intestinal corticotropin-releasing factor signal (corticotrophin-releasing factor [CRF], CRF receptor 1 [CRFR1], glucocorticoid receptor, tryptase, nerve growth factor, tyrosine kinase receptor A), and prevented mast cell activation. GLU upregulated the mRNA expression of intestinal transforming growth factor β. Conclusion: These findings indicate that GLU attenuates LPS-induced intestinal mucosal barrier injury, which is associated with modulating CRF signaling pathway. A tubular linear motor structure suitable for large thrust

        Wenbin Yu,Guolai Yang,Zixuan Li,Dianrong Wang,Xiuye Wang 대한기계학회 2021 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.35 No.11

In response to the problem that the motor shaft of conventional tubular linear motor is prone to bending, this paper proposes a new tubular linear motor structure for large thrust demand. Bending of the motor shaft can lead to collisions between structures and affect motor performance, and traditional air-gap structures cannot effectively handle this problem. The stator of the new motor is divided into an inner and outer cylinder structure. The armature windings are arranged between the inner and outer cylinders. The permanent magnets are arranged on the motor shaft. After analysis, the structural proposed in this paper can well stop the bending of the motor shaft. It also effectively improves the problem of large fluctuations in the thrust of linear motors. Finally, it is concluded that the peak motor thrust is maximized when the material with low permeability is chosen for the inner cylinder.

Externalizing Behavior Problems Among Hui Ethnicity Left-Behind Children in Rural China: A Cross-Sectional Study

        Xue Yu,Lingling Wang,Miaomiao Liu,Qiuli Li,Xiuying Dai 대한신경정신의학회 2022 PSYCHIATRY INVESTIGATION Vol.19 No.4

Objective This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of externalizing behavior problems (EBPs) and its influencing factors among Hui left-behind children (LBC) in rural China. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted among school students from the southern rural areas in Ningxia, China (2012–2013). The general self-made questionnaire, Egma Minnen av Bardndosna Uppforstran, Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (for Children), Piers-Harris Children’s Self-Concept Scale, and Achenbach’s Child Behavior Checklist (for parents) were used to investigate the related information. Binary logistic regressions were conducted. Results The prevalence of EBPs in boys Hui LBC was significantly higher than that of non-LBC (12.37% vs. 6.84%, χ2=4.09, and p=0.04). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that low self-awareness of behavior (odds ratio [OR]=29.78), introversion (OR=21.67) and intermediate personality (OR=15.83), poor academic performance (OR=11.65) and both parent migrating (OR=2.73) were the risk factors for the EBPs of Hui LBC, while middle and high father refusal and denial (OR=0.11, OR=0.09) were their protective factors. Conclusion Our findings suggest that both parent migrating is a potential risk factor for EBPs among Hui LBC. Hui boys LBC should be paid more attention when formulating relevant policies.
