The synergistic effect of ZrC nanoparticle pining and Re solution in W matrix on the thermal stability of tungsten was studied by investigating the evolution of the microstructure, hardness and tensile properties after annealing in a temperature range of 1000e1700 C. The results of metallography, electron backscatter diffraction pattern and Vickers micro-hardness indicate that the rolled W-1wt%Re-0.5 wt% ZrC alloy has a higher recrystallization temperature (1600 Ce1700 C) than that of the rolled pure W (1200 C), W-0.5 wt%ZrC (1300 C), W-0.5 wt%HfC (1400e1500 C) and WeK-3wt%Re alloy fabricated by the same technology. The molecular dynamics simulation results indicated that solution Re atoms in W matrix can slow down the self-diffusion of W atoms and form dragging effect to delay the growth of W grain, moreover, the diffusion coefficient decrease with increasing Re content. In addition, the ZrC nanoparticles can pin the grain boundaries and dislocations effectively, preventing the recrystallization. Therefore, synergistic effect of solid solution Re element and dispersed ZrC nanoparticles significantly increase recrystallization temperature

The effects of plasma discharge intensity on the microstructure evolution of ball-milled tungsten (W)–carbon (C)–cobalt (Co)mixtures and the formation mechanism of ultrathin plate-like tungsten carbide (WC) grains prepared by ball milling with andwithout plasma discharge were investigated. It was found that increasing the plasma discharge intensity during ball millingobviously promoted the formation of a thin flake-like W phase because of the electroplasticity effect and simultaneouslylowered the carburization temperature between W and C. A combination of high hardness and transverse rupture strength of92.9 HRA and 3659 MPa, respectively, was obtained for the WC–8Co alloy fabricated by plasma milling at a gas pressure of5 × 103 Pa with a dielectric barrier discharge layer thickness of 3 mm. These properties were mainly attributed to the markedlylowered activation energy of the WC phase and generation of highly oriented ultrathin plate-like WC grains by plasma milling. The combination of the flake-like structure of the plasma-milled W aggregate and high specific interfacial area and shortdiffusion distance of W/C were readily inherited by the ultrathin plate-like WC grains in the sintered WC–Co hardmetals.

ITS의 개별화 학습 능력을 극대화하기 위한 필수적 모듈인 학습자 모듈은 학습자의 인지 상태를 파악하고, 그 진단 결과를 다른 모듈에서 사용할 수 있도록 하는 기능을 가져야만 한다. 또한 지능형 저작 시스템에서 학습자 모듈은 영역 전문가나 교사가 학습자의 인지 능력을 파악하는 추록 규칙을 인공 지능에 대한 지식이 없어도 쉽게 변경할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 영역 독립적인 학습자 모듈을 구축하는데 있어 핵심이 되는 요소를 영역 전문가나 교사가 쉽게 입력할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 퍼지의 언어변수를 도입하고, 이 언어변수를 이용하여 학습자 응답을 진단할 수 있는 공식을 제안한다. 또한 언어변수를 이용하여 학습자의 인지상태를 추론할 수 있도록 시스템을 설계한다.
Modelling of Hysteresis in Smart Actuators using the Generalised Prandtl-Ishlinskii Operator

Hysteresis poses a significant challenge for the modelling and control of smart material-based actuators. The Prandtl-Ishlinskii (PI) operator-based model has been a popular choice for characterising the symmetric hysteresis properties of piezoceramic actuators. Various modified PI operators have also been suggested to extend the modelling technique to (a) asymmetric hysteresis and (b) input rate dependent hysteresis characteristics. A major advantage of using PI or modified PI operators is that they have an analytical inverse which allows the straightforward implementation of the inverse model to provide hysteresis compensation as part of a control scheme. The generalised PI operator, a type of modified PI operator, has the potential to model both asymmetric and constrained hysteresis characteristics. In this contribution the ability of the generalized PI operator-based model to approximate the hysteresis characteristics of two smart actuators; a tubular Dielectric Elastomer (DE) actuator with both saturated and unsaturated asymmetric hysteresis behaviour, and a Magnetorheological (MR) Damper with saturated and approximately symmetric hysteresis behaviour is investigated.
A STUDY ON EMOTION DIMENSIONS EVOKED BY COLOR SCHEMES FROM CAR INTERIOR

In the study, cognitive behavior questionnaire survey was conducted from the emotional dimension of color. The intentions of study include 1) discussing characters of the color schemes of car interior, and 2) testing how the gender, car type and color tone affect the car interior from emotional dimension. By cognitive questionnaire, the response of participants to the car types and the color schemes of car interior was surveyed. It’s found from the test that the attention, valence and arousal of the “vivid color” are higher than that of “light color, dark color and neutral color”. But the purchase demand on “neutral color” is higher than that of the others.
THE DESIGN OF SPORT GRAPHICAL SYMBOLS

In this paper, we study what are known as “sport graphical symbols”, examining creative examples of such symbols and conducting a “suitability cognition questionnaire” survey on a collection of sport graphical symbols designed for various Olympic Games. The objectives of this study are: (1) To present the design characteristics of creative sport graphical symbols (in terms of the conveyance of meaning/presentation technique); and (2) to examine the impact of such design characteristics on the “suitability” of sport graphical symbols as cognitively processed by survey participants. The findings of the study are as follows: survey participants believe that sports that are deemed as familiar are suited for expression using newer, less familiar presentation techniques (e.g., graphic symbology), while sports that are less familiar are more suited for expression using more familiar presentation techniques, such as abstract symbology.
Impact to the Color Image of White Spirit Package by Cultural Difference

This paper researched on the influence to the color image of white spirit bottle by the differences from both sides (Chinese mainland/Taiwan). With the cross-strait trade becomes more and more frequent, research on the consumers’ attention value and purchase desire towards the color of white spirit bottle offers suggestion for catering cross-strait consumer groups. Research purpose: (1) be aware of the color application tendency of the white spirit bottle on market through gathering the color samples of the available packages; (2) analyze the influences to the attention value and purchase desire of the hues of white spirit bottle (light hue/dark hue/original hue) by different consumers with cultural differences. Research method: through conducting the cognition questionnaire Scale of Attention Value and Purchase Desire, this paper discovered the different feelings from crossstrait consumers with regard to the attention value on the color (hue) of the white spirit bottle. Attention degree for mainlander is “dark hue” is higher than “light hue” and “original hue”. Attention degree for Taiwanese is “original hue” is higher than “light hue” and “dark hue”. The purchase desire on “dark hue” and “light hue” for Chinese mainland people is higher than that for Taiwanese. The results show that the “attention value” towards the package from cross- strait consumers is in direct proportion or inverse proportion to the purchase desire.
