        광주천의 하천유지유량의 유입수질농도 결정에 관한 연구

        N/A This study is to decide water concentration of instream flow to upgrade water quality of Gwangju cheon improving one of instream flow in the upper Gwangju cheon. Present water quality of Gwangju cheon (Based on BOO) maintains 3rd-4th level but this study intends to decide water concentration of instream flow assuming that target water quality is 1st and 2nd level to improve water quality. For QUAL2E applies to estimation form of water quality that is using widely in rivers. And, HEC-RAS form is used to estimate mathematical input value that is using in QUAL2E. In the result of estimation of water quality, it is difficult to upgrade to 1st level because Gwangju cheon is lack of self-purification ability. However, it is possible to improve water quality to 2nd level. According to analyzing of the result of QUAL2E form by 0.5,0.8,1.0 of instream flow, it is decided 0.5㎝s to 2.15㎎/ℓ, 0.8㎝s to 2.70㎎/ℓ, 1.0cms to 2.88㎎/ℓl based on BOO.

      • 결장직장암 환자의 임상적 고찰 : 조선대학교 부속병원의 10년 간의 결과

        Background and Objectives: The colorectal cancer rates 4th in the total cancer prevalence in Korea. The clinical patient demographics were considered with the incidence rate of the colon and rectal cancer. The clinicopathological factors were analyzed for the 5 year survival rate. Materials Methods: Of the 282 patients who were operated from Jan. 1, 1992 to Dec. 31, 2001 and diagnosed by pathological biopsy as colo-rectal cancer, 234 patients were followed up. The age, sex, location of the cancer, TNM stage, operation method, histopathological classification, metastatic region, complications after operation and the survival rate were investigated. Results: Of the 234 patients, male and female consisted of 120 cases (51.3%) and 114 cases (46.7%), with an average age of 61.6 years. The average follow up period was 52.3 months and the peri operative mortality was 5.6%. The site of the cancer was most frequent at the rectum with 127 cases (54.3%). The patients were classified according to the TNM stages with 38 cases of stage 1 (16.2%), 98 cases of II (41.9%), 72 cases of III (30.8%) and 26 cases of IV (11.1%). The 5 year survival rate in the age group older than 50 was 63.3 % and 73.5% in the group younger than 50. In regard to the operation type, the 5 year survival rate was 65.4% for elective operation and 65.8% for emergency operation. The 5 year survival rate for well differentiated, moderately differentiated, poorly differentiated cancer, and mucinous adenocarcinoma was 73.7%, 60.2%, 58.3%, and 92.6%, respectively. The 5 year survival rate of each of the TNM stage is 81.1%, 74.8%, 57.0%, and 11.5% for Classes I, II, III, and IV, respectively. Conclusion: The clinical factors were analyzed for the 5 year survival rate with no statistical significance for the age, sex, and location of the cancer. The TNM stage and histopathological differentiation were statistically significant. The colon cancer showed better prognosis compared to the rectal cancer.

      • 산업단지 분진중의 금속 및 이온 성분의 크기 분포

        The size distribution of metals and ions in aerosols has been study'd in Kunsan city. In an industrial complex, particles were collected with a cascade impactor, which effectively separates tho particulate matter into nine-size ranges. Eighty-one samples were collected between October 2001-Julyn and 2002. Each filter was extracted with a mixture of nitric and percloric acids. the acid solutions of the samples sere analysed in three-particle fractions by Atomic Absorption Bpectrophotometry(AAC; Varian BpectraA 220), UV(U/V Bpectrophotometer, Model Bmart 325), and IC(Dionex, DX-500). the impactor stage fractionation of particles shows a typical bimodal distributions, one corresponding to the fine mode bellow 2.1-3.3 ㎛ (42.6 %), and the other to the coarse mode around 10 pm(57.4 %.. With regard to the size distribution of metals end ions, we concluded that potentially toxic metals such as cadmium, cromium, and lead, and a number of ions NO^(-)_(3), PO^(3)_(4) , NH^(+)_(4), Na^(+), and K^(+) are mainly accumulated in the smaller particles, with percentages of 77, 54, 67, 68, 62, 65, 53, and 62%, respectively. Lead has a concentration of 26.28 ng /㎥ more than cadmium and chromium(2.24 and 23.77 ng/m3). And NO^(-)_(3), NH^(+)_(4), Na^(+), K^(+), PA^(3-)_(4) and SO^(2-)_(4) showed concentrations of 7.29, 0.69, 19.7, 0.9 ㎍/㎥, and 0.212, and 26.38 ㎍/㎥. Andd iron, Cl^(-), SO^(2-)_(4) , and Mg^(2+) are mainly accumulated in the coarse particles, with percentage of 32, 26, 47 and 40%. Concentration of Iron, Cl^(-), SO^(2-)_(4) , and Mg^(2+) have 0.669, 1.88, 26.38, and 0.51 ㎍/㎡.

      • 製造業에서 본 産業災害에 關한 調査

        This survey was carried out to analyse the occupational accidents by type of industry, cause of accident, working period and age of workers, part of body injured, and accident time in Guro Industrial-site, Youngdeungpo Area, Korea. The basic data were obtained from the accident records prepared in industries. The results obtained were as follows; 1. The values of severity rate by type of industry showed 3.5 in wooden toy manufacturing industry, 0.6 in precise machinery industry, 0.4 in printing industry, 0.3 in electric machinery industry and 0.05 in the miscellaneous machinery industry. The average value was 0.3. 2. The values of frequency rate by type of industry were 157.6 in wooden toy manufacturing. 28.8 in precise machinery industry, 20.1 in printing industry, 15.7 in metallic industry, and 11.8 in chemical industry 3. The average value of incidence rate per 1,000 was 39.9, and the highest value, 135, was indicated in wooden toy manufacturing, the next, 93.8, was in precise machinery industry, and the lowest, 13.1 was in miscellaneous industry. 4. 56.4% of physical impairements due to occupational accidents showed laceration and open wounds, 15.55 burns, 10.8% fractures, 6.8% superficial injuries, and 2% showed dislocations. 5. As far as the part of body injured is concerned, the highest rate, 61.4%, was shown in finger, and the lowest, 0.3%, was in trunk. 6. Among the causes of occupational accidents, working motion showed the highest rate, 54.1%. 7. By size of industry, the small size industry showed higher rate than the large size industry. 8. According to age of workers, the highest rate, 28.7% was shown in under 17 year-old group, and the lowest was in 36-41 age group. 9. According to the working period of workers, the short-term service group showed high incidence rate. 10. The high rate of accident was indicated at the time of 3 hours working in the morning and 1-2 hours working after lunch.

      • 교맥 에탄올 추출물의 멜라닌생성 억제효과

        The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of ethanol extract of Fagopyrum escuentum(FE) on the melanogenesis. To determine whether ethanol extract of FE suppress melanin synthesis in cellular level, B16F10 melanoma cells were cultured in the presence of different concentrations of FE ethanol extract. In the present study, the author examined the effects of FE ethanol extract on cell proliferation, melanin contents, tyrosinase activity. Cell proliferation was slightly increased by treatment with ethanol extract of FE (25-200 ㎍/ml). The ethanol extract of FE effectively suppressed melanin contents at a dose of 100 ㎍/ml. It was observed that the color of cell pellets was totally whitened compared with the control. The ethanol extract of FE inhibited tyrosinase activity, regulate melanin biosynthesis as the key enzyme in melanogenesis. These results suggest that the ethanol extract of FE exerts its depigmenting effects through the suppression of tyrosinase activity. And it may be a potent depigmetation agent in hyperpigmentation condition.

      • 와인딩 공정에서 접압롤의 동특성에 관한 연구

        In a web winding process, the contact roll plays many important roles in air entrainment control and WIT(Wound In Tension) regulation. The behavior of the contact roll significantly affects the winding tension characteristics specifically at the time of contact and separation when the tangential velocities of contact roll and winding roll are not synchronized. A new mathematical model which includes the behavior of the web tension, the winding roll, the carriage and the contact roll is derived for the control of the winding tension. By using the model derived, a non-linear PID(NPID) controller is designed to control the winding tension at the time of contact and separation between the contact roll and the winding roll. Computer simulation study showed that the performance of the winding system with the NPID controller was significantly improved compared with that of a system with PID controller.

        The estimation of SO₂,CO, TSP, O₃and NO₂were measured in May 1994 to August 1996. CO and NO₂are increased in summer and winter because of using the gasoline for cooling and heating in summer and winter. When we compared the emission of NO₂and SO₂with the amount of used fuel, it was highly related with gas oil in winter. SO₂, NO₂and TSP was related with the amount of used kerosene. O₃was high in summer and it had a good correation with solar radiation and temperature. We knew that the emission of SO₂, TSP, CO, and O₃was related with variation of temperature and meteorological factor.

        장기 이식 환자에서 Voriconazole 과 Cyclosporine 또는 Tacrolimus의 상호작용

        Abstract: In organ transplant patients, the opportunity of fungi infections such as invasive aspergillosis increase by use of immunosuppresant drugs and voriconazole is recommended as primary treatment drug. When voriconazole is administered with cyclosporine(CsA) or tacrolimus(FK506), caution about increment of blood CsA or FK506 concentrations that caused by the change of CYP3A4 activity is required but few domestic cases of interaction were reported yet, The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of voriconazole on the blood CsA or FK506 concentrations in transplant recipients and the factors of recipients that have an effect on the results. 25 transplant recipients who were administered voriconazole with CsA or FK506 from January 1 of 2006 to August 17 of 2008 in Asan Medical Center were objects (12 patients on CsA coadministration arm - 9 males, 3 females; 41~62years;2 liver, 2 kidney, 3 bone marrow, 5 heart transplant recipients, and 13 on FK506 coadministration arm - 7 males, 6 females;26~65years; 10 liver, 2 kidney, 1 heart transplant recipients). Blood CsA or FK506 concentrations before and after coadministration of voriconazole, and maximum concentration in one month from the first day of coadministration were monitored retrospectively. In most cases CsA or FK506 were administered as recommended doses regardless of coadministration of voriconazole, and blood concentration increased from 239.42±126. 77ng/ml to maximum 411.92±225. 76ng/ml in CsA coadministration arm(p=0.003), and from 7.72±2.79ng/ml to maximum 19.16±9.35ng/ml in FK506 coadministration arm(p=0.003). Gender, age, and the kind of transplant organ did not affect to the change of blood concentration in both two arms. In consequences, administration of voriconazole could affect on the blood CsA or FK506 concentration, and in cases of administra tion of voriconazole in transplant recipients treated with CsA or FK506, close monitoring and dose adjustment is needed.

        The snow is very important for long range transport analysis air pollution material. We collected 4 snow samples in korea (Seoul, Suwon, Kwangju, Yangyang). Then we analysed the type, chemical composition of particulate matter in snow. The result were as follows; By analyzing SEM-EDX (scanning electron microscope-energy dispersive X-ray), we obtained that the composition of particulate matter in snow was high Si in Seoul, Ca in Suwon, CI in Kwangju and Si in Yangyang.

      • EPRCA 스위치의 성능 개선 연구

        Latest, requirements of service of high speed traffics have increased, because these traffics are difficult to predict owing to its bursty occurrence. ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) serves ABR(Available Bit Rate) service for these traffics. When concentrated high speed traffics are arrived, cell loss and cell transfer delay are occurred because statistical multiplexing of ATM raise states of congestion on network. To minimize these influence of congestion, reactive control scheme which takes advantage of feedback information should be used, in this case using preventive control scheme is insufficient. In this paper, we applied variable threshold to determine the congestion in switch node, controled transmission rate dynamically. We simulated our model and analyzed to compare our schemes to the previous ones. The results show that the average transmission rate increased up respectively. The ramp-up time that is the amount of time from the idle state to the balance state is shorter, the maximum number of cells which is much related to cell loss is less, and the control cycle of transmission rate is shorter compared to the previous methods.
