Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), a class of transcribed RNA molecules with the lengths exceeding 200 nucleotides, are not translated into protein. They can modulate protein-coding genes by controlling transcriptional and posttranscriptional processes. The dysregulation of lncRNAs has been related to various pathological disorders. In this review, we summarized the current knowledge of lncRNAs and their implications in the pathogenesis of three common liver diseases: nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, alcohol-related liver disease, and cholestatic liver disease. Future studies to further define the role of lncRNAs and their mechanisms in various types of liver diseases should be explored. An improved understanding from these studies will provide us a useful perspective leading to mechanism-based intervention by targeting specific lncRNAs for the treatment of liver diseases.

Postmodern deconstruction comes up in grotesque forms for makeup as a sort of art category as well. First, aggressive makeup refers to rejecting conventional standardized makeup. It showed radical aspects of nihilism, hysteria, violence and androgynous look, which express death, despair, horror and void by means of black lipstick and tonality. Second, decadent makeup forms a mainstream of contemporary art. It is characterized by attaching artificial and electric ornament onto natural human body, or expressing body in sexually suggestive manner, resulting in revealing unnatural and even unsound aspects along with ultimate erotic images. Third, a makeup in pursuit of impersonality rejects any standardization of traditional makeup and pursues disgust or terrible displeasure, defiant and shocking visual effects and more, instead. Thus, grotesque that is expressed with new and various trials in our deconstruction-induced contemporary makeup is a makeup trend emerging on the rise nowadays-in the era of collapsed modern living environment and classical esthetic sense or absolute values-from psychological conflicts and confusions to destruction of traditional art genres.

<P>We study the influence of geometric anisotropy of micro-grate structures on the spreading dynamics of water drops after impact. It is found that the maximal spreading diameter along the parallel direction to grates becomes larger than that along the transverse direction beyond a certain Weber number, while the extent of such an asymmetric spreading increases with the structural pitch of grates and Weber number. By employing grates covered with nanostructures, we exclude the possible influences coming from the Cassie-to-Wenzel transition and the circumferential contact angle variation on the spreading diameter. Then, based on a simplified energy balance model incorporating slip length, we propose that slip length selectively enhances the spreading diameter along the parallel direction, being responsible for the asymmetric drop spreading. We believe that our work will help better understand the role of microstructures in controlling the drop dynamics during impact, which has relevance to various engineering applications.</P>

Background: The incidence of ischemic cerebrovascular disease is increasing in recent years and has beenone of the leading causes of neurological dysfunction and death. Ginsenoside Rg1 has been found toprotect against neuronal damage in many neurodegenerative diseases. However, the effect and mechanismby which Rg1 protects against cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury (CIRI) are not fully understood. Here, we report the neuroprotective effects of Rg1 treatment on CIRI and its possible mechanisms inmice. Methods: A bilateral common carotid artery ligation was used to establish a chronic CIRI model in mice. HT22 cells were treated with Rg1 after OGD/R to study its effect on [Ca2þ]i. The open-field test and poleclimbingexperiment were used to detect behavioral injury. The laser speckle blood flowmeter was usedto measure brain blood flow. The Nissl and H&E staining were used to examine the neuronal damage. TheWestern blotting was used to examine MAP2, PSD95, Tau, p-Tau, NOX2, PLC, p-PLC, CN, NFAT1, and NLRP1expression. Calcium imaging was used to test the level of [Ca2þ]i. Results: Rg1 treatment significantly improved cerebral blood flow, locomotion, and limb coordination,reduced ROS production, increased MAP2 and PSD95 expression, and decreased p-Tau, NOX2, p-PLC, CN,NFAT1, and NLRP1 expression. Calcium imaging results showed that Rg1 could inhibit calcium overloadand resist the imbalance of calcium homeostasis after OGD/R in HT22 cells. Conclusion: Rg1 plays a neuroprotective role in attenuating CIRI by inhibiting oxidative stress, calciumoverload, and neuroinflammation.

Obesity is a disease involving mechanisms of fat accumulation, low-grade inflammatory cytokine release, and mitochondrial dysfunction. The aim of the current study was to investigate the effects of abalone intestine extract on fat metabolism in 3T3-L1 adipocytes and high fat diet-induced zebrafish larvae. The total phenol content was highest in subcritical water extract at 210℃ (SW210) among hot water, ethanol, and subcritical water extracts of abalone intestine. In addition, SW210 of male abalone intestine (MASW210) most effectively controlled the lipid accumulation and expression of adipogenic or lipogenic regulators (PPAR-γ, C/EBPα, SREBP-1c, and FAS) in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. Likewise, in zebrafish larvae fed high fat, MASW210 significantly suppressed body weight, glucose levels, and lipid accumulation. The mRNA expression related to adipogenesis (PPAR-γ and C/EBPα), lipogenesis (SREBP-1c and FAS), inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α and IL-6), energy m/;.etabolism (AMPK, lepr, SIRT1, and adiponectin), and mitochondrial biogenesis (PGC-1α and CPT-1) were significantly regulated by treatment with MASW210. These results suggest that abalone intestine extract such as MASW210, are useful biomaterials for improving obesity and metabolic diseases.

The problem of tracking control for stochastic nonlinear systems is investigated in this paper. Because of the randomness and nonlinearity of stochastic nonlinear systems, the existing methods are sometimes difficult to achieve the desired tracking performance. In this paper, a new network controller (multi-dimensional Taylor network) is proposed, which only relies on the output of system. Firstly we give the structure of multi-dimensional Taylor network (MTN), and then prove the MTN has a good approximation performance. Secondly, Design a MTN control strategy relying on the system output, which will guarantee the tracking of system output to desired output. An example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design approach.
CHI Statistical Text Feature Selection Method Based on Information Entropy Optimization

CHI statistical text feature selection method based on information entropy optimization is presented in this paper. In the text categorization process of feature selection, considering the results of effect of the distribution within categories and among categories, we introduce the frequency of features information entropy among categories, the information entropy within categories, information within category to optimize the CHI statistical methods. The experimental results show that the classification accuracy of the optimized CHI method is significantly higher than that the traditional CHI statistical methods.

The infrared emissivity of Co doped α-MoO3 was tested, and the resistivity was tested according to the relationship between infrared emissivity and electrical conductivity. In order to further explore the influencing factors of infrared emissivity, the oxygen vacancy concentration was tested according to the relationship between electrical conductivity and oxygen vacancy. It is found that annealing temperature has a significant effect on the infrared emissivity of Co doped α-MoO3. The infrared emissivity, resistivity and oxygen vacancy concentration first decrease and then increase with the increase of annealing temperature. The infrared emissivity is the minimum when the annealing temperature is 500 ◦C. The oxygen vacancy concentration is characterized and analyzed by XPS and Raman. The results show that the oxygen vacancy concentration can be changed by controlling the annealing temperature, thus the conductivity can be changed, and the infrared emission can be controlled.
