        Afferent loop syndrome is an uncommon complication of a gastrectomy and Billroth Ⅱ reconstruction. It may cause symtoms at any time from the first postoperative day to many years after the gastrectomy. Afferent loop syndrome is characterized by abdominal pain, vomiting and elevation of serum amylase. Thus, it is difficult to differentiate afferent loop syndrome from other cause of acute pancreatitis. However, the history of gastrectomy can be an important clue for diagnosing afferent loop syndrome. We experienced one case of chronic afferent loop syndrome with acute pancreatitis. After appropriate management, the abdominal pain disappeared and serum amylase level decreased. We report this case with a review of relevant literatures.

      • Halo 구조의 MOSFET에서 이동도 감소 현상

        소오스와 드레인 근처에 포켓이온이 주입된 halo구조의 MOSFET에서 전송자의 이동도 감소는 포켓이온주입의 조건에 따라 쿨롱(Coulomb)산란의 증가에 의한 이동도의 감소량보다 큰 이동도의 감소가 관측될 수 있다. 또, 게이트 바이어스에 대한 이동도의 특성변화도 기존의 일차적 효과에 의한 해석과 비교하여 상이한 결과가 나타날 수 있음이 실험적으로 확인되고 있다. 이와 같이 포켓이온 주입에 의하여 Coulomb산란원이 되는 유효불순물 농도의 증가에 따른 일차적인 이동도의 감소효과를 벗어난 이동도 특성을 일반적으로 설명할 수 있는 개선된 해석적 방법이 MOSFET 소자의 성능향상 모색 및 CAD모델 개발 측면에서 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 일차원 영역구분의 근사적인 해석방법을 사용하여 포켓이온 주입에 의한 채널의 반전충 전하분포 및 채널방향의 전게의 분포가 채널전류에 미치는 영항을 분석하였으며, 이러한 효과에 의해서 유효이동도가 추가적으로 감소함을 확인하였다. Additional dopants due to pocket ion implantation cause the Coulomb scattering rate to increase and the increased effective impurity is well known to give rise to a reduction of the effective mobility of halo MOSFETs. However, further decrease of the effective mobility can be observed in pocket implanted MOSFETs above the mobility reduction due to the Coulomb impurity scattering and the gate bias dependency of the effective mobility can also differ from the simple model describing the mobility in terms of the effective impurity. To develop MOSFET devices of the improved conductances and CAD models reflecting the real physic-based phenomena, it is necessary to find an analytical model of the general mobility degradation behavior in the scaled pocket implanted MOSFETs. In this paper, using the 1-D regional approximation, the effect of the inhomogeneous distribution of the inversion charge along the channel on the drain current is investigated. The inhomogeneous channel charge distribution is shown to be effective in the further reduction of the effective mobility in halo MOSFETs.

      • 陽宅論에 의한 韓國傳統住宅의 配置計劃에 關한 硏究

        For the purpose of the succession of the Korean traditional housing, this study analizes the Yang-Teag-Non(陽宅論) which is the spatial theory of the ancesto's. The Yang-Teag-Non is to establish the most suitable house for the life of man with adaptation of house spacial organization to the netural order which is the theory of I-Ching(陽) The principle is to lay out each unit (room & yard) step by step in accordance with the action and change of the Yin Yang forces (陰陽氣) and the Five forces (五氣). Traditional house space of the Yang-Teag-Non is consisted not with the expansion of one house into a mass but with the connection of the unit space in order which has human scale. The properties of the space has organism and varieties as the space is divided into, and has hierarchical order which is a vertical order, and closed order which is a horizontal order.

      • 관상동맥질환을 동반한 모야모야병 1례

        Moyamoya disease is an occlusive intracranial arteriopathy with an abnormal cerebral vascular collateral networks. Although this disease is known to be associated with stenosis of extracranial arteries, such as the renal artery, a case associated with stenosis of the coronary artery is extremely rare. We report a case of coronary artery occlusive disease affected by Moyamoya disease. The patient was a 38-year-old female experiencing intermittent headache and exer tional chest pain. Cerebral MRI showed complete obstruction of both internal carotid arteries and abnormal cerebrovascular systems which confirmed Moyamoya disease. Coronary angiography showed a significant stenosis of left anterior descending coronary artery ostium with TIMI grade I collateral blood flow from the normal right coronary artery. After coronary artery stenting and medical treatment for headache, her subjective symptoms were relieved. In Moyamoya patient, an evaluation of the extracranial (especially coronary artery) vascular system should be considered if there are some evidences of coronary artery disease.

        Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans의 Lipopolysaccharide에 대한 단클론항체의 제작 및 특성

        Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans(A.actinomyceremcomitans), a nonmotile, gram negative facultative anaerobic coccobacillus, is supposed to be an important etiological agent in localized juvenile periodontitis and associated with adult type periodontitis. Lipopolysaccharide(LPS) is one of the various virulent factors of A. actinomycetemcomitans and can directly or indirectly cause destruction of periodontal tissue. The purpose of this study was to produce and characterize the monoclonal antibody to LPS of A.actinomycetemcomitans. The results were as follows; 1. The LPS yield of A. actinomycetemcomitans was 0.7% based on dry cell weight. 2. The antibody titers of immuninzed serum with 5.2 × 10^(8) bacteria were 1:64,000 to whole cells and 1:8,000 to LPS. 3. From three times of cloning the antibody producing hybridomas using limitation dilution method, ten monoclones producing monoclonal antibody to LPS of A.actinomycetemcomitans were obtained. 4. Ten monoclonal antibodies to LPS of A. actinomycetemcomitans were not found to cross-react with LPS of Escherichia coli(E. coli). These results indicate that the monoclonal antibody to LPS of A. actinomycetemcomitans was specific for A. actinomycetemcomitans.

      • 폐 섬유 보강 복합재의 제조와 마찰특성

        Fiber-reinforced composite materials are used in a wide variety of applications in the advanced field of industries such as electric clutch, motor, car, space and aviation etc. It is well known that the brake lining made of fiber-reinforced composites show excellent friction and wear properties compared to the conventional asbestos brakes and also are known to have high absorption energy and excellent high temperature properties in braking. In order to endow high friction and wear stability to the commercial brake lining, the waste fiber such as cotton, PAN, PET, nylon,kevlar, glass and it's binary mixture fibers were used the fiber reinforcements. The fiber/phenolic resin system has been carried out by preform molding method. The friction tester was especially designed and prepared for evaluation of frictional properties such as friction coefficient and stability. The physical properties of fiber reinforced composites were investigated in terms of the 3-point bending strength, the properties of friction, and morphology. The results obtained from the work are as follows ; 1. The friction properties of the cotton fiber reinforced composites were similar to those of the commercial brake linings, but in the cases of reinforcement of kevlar, glass. we can improve those properties, 2. The proper amount of organic and inorganic fiber mixtures can improve the properties of friction and the mechanical properties, 3. It is more desirable to manufacture hybrid fiber reinforced composites because single cotton or synthetic fiber reinforced composites aren't improved frictional properties, and 4. On evaluating frictional properties of waste fiber reinforced composites, frictional properties of waste fiber reinforced composites are superior to commercial disc lining. Therefore we can confirm practical possibility of waste fiber reinforced disc lining.

      • 大羌活湯의 消炎 鎭痛作用에 관한 硏究

        Experimental studies were conducted to investigate for the effect of Daeganghwal-Tang(DHT) extract on the anti-inflammatory activity, analgesic activity, subacute toxicity and acute toxicity. The following results have been obtanied ; In the anti-inflammatory activity in rats, DHT extract (300,600㎎/㎏ p.o) was shown remarkable preventive effect in the edema induced by Freund's complete adjuvant and 5% acetic acid. In analgesic activity test in mouse, DHT extract(300,600㎎/㎏ p.o) was shown significant analgegic activity in mouse induced by 0.7% acetic acid. In acute toxicity test in mouse, DHT extract showed10% mortelity at DHT extract 1.200㎎/㎏ i.p. and 2,000㎎/㎏ p.o.. In subacute toxicity test in mouse. DHT extract was not showed toxicity for 19 day. Uric acid in the serum of the treated rats by Freund's complete adjuvant were slightly decreased by comparing with the control group. During the administration of DHT extract, The body weight increased, but the liver and spleen weight was not changed by comparing with the control group. .

      • 베체트병 환자에서 Azathioprine으로 유발된 급성 췌장염 1례

        Although many drug are thought capable of initiating acute pancreatitis, following azathioprine administration represents the 5% incidence by far the highest recorded incidence to date. We report a 35-year-old male who developed acute pancreatitis in the course of treatment with azathioprine for Behcet's disease. He was admitted due to abdominal pain, diarrhea, and fever for 10 days. Serum amylase and lipase levels were 510U/L and 3702U/L respectively. The abdominal CT scan revealed diffuse enlargement of the pancreas. There was no history of alcohol use or gall bladder disease. We considered drugs, especially azathioprine, as the cause of acute pancreatitis. We diagnosed it as acute pancreatitis. The patient was treated conservatively with hydration and analgesics. The symptom subsided within four days. Five days later, azathioprine was resumed. And the patient complained of abdominal pain. The elevated levels of serum amylase and lipase confirmed the recurrence of pancreatitis. His symptom subsided when azathioprine intake the stopped, and the serum amylase and lipase levels returned to normal level within five days.
