The purpose of this study is to examine the current status, analyze the environment of handicapped tennis in Korea, and propose a plan to promote the revitalization of handicapped tennis. To do so, this study analyzed the environment related to handicapped tennis as well as conducted a literature review on research trends and the current conditions in Korea. After, it performed a SWOT analysis through an expert meeting consisting of 7 specialists in the handicapped tennis, regular tennis, physical education, and disability sports, and explored ways to revitalize the handicapped tennis. The result of SWOT analysis through this research showed that the strengths of the Korean handicapped tennis were: high usability as integrated sports, having international competitions by disability types, ability to participate by various disability types, organizations of integrated international sports, and having megaevents by disability type. In contrast, the weaknesses of Korean handicapped tennis were: lack of training places and programs; lack of participants in each event; lack of handicapped tennis professionals; and the lack of sports-for-all competitions by disability types and regions. Also, opportunity factors included: increased social attention by excellent players in regular tennis; international competitions continuously held in Korea; excellent regular tennis infrastructure, and increased interest of the government towards revitalizing handicapped people’s sports-for-all. The risk factors proved to be: difficulties in finding new tennis players; aging elite players; decline in athletic performance; as well as low social awareness and attention. The plans to revitalize the handicapped tennis in Korea were follows based on the above analysis: First, revitalizing tennis clubs for the handicapped using facility infrastructure and regular tennis professionals; Second, expanding Eowuollim tennis contests by connecting with regular tennis competitions in Korea; Third, developing training programs by disability types and nurturing players; and Fourth, strengthening promotional activities of handicapped tennis using star players of regular tennis.

A Incremental second-order sigma-delta ADC is presented. A method using a combination of a 1.5-bit Quantizer technique and DWE configuration enabled wide dynamic range operation. also A three-level Quantizer with simple dynamic element matching improve linearity. The prototype IC implemented in a 0.13㎛ CMOS process achieves 125dB SNDR in a 60Hz signal bandwidth, while consuming 192uW from a 1.2V supply. The prototype operates from 1.2V supply with minimal performance degradation.
Main results of the Korea National Hospital Discharge In-depth Injury Survey, 2004-2016

OBJECTIVES: The purpose of this study was to estimate the incidence of injuries and to identify their causes by classifying injuries according to various categories including age, sex, mechanism of injury, body parts injured, and place of injury. METHODS: This study used data from the Korea National Hospital Discharge In-depth Injury Survey (KNHDIS) from 2004 to 2016. The KNHDIS is conducted annually by the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and its survey population includes all hospitalized patients discharged from medical institutions that have 100 or more beds, such as hospitals, general hospitals, and secondary community health centers. The number of injured cases is weighted and estimated using the mid-year estimated population of each year. RESULTS: The injury discharge rate steadily increased since 2004 (1,505 per 100,000 population in 2004, 2,007 per 100,000 population in 2016) and most injuries were unintentional (annual average of 94.7%). On average, during the 13-year study period, the injury rate for males was 1.5 times as high as for females. The 2 main causes of injury were consistently traffic accidents and falls. Notably, the rate of injuries resulting from falls rose by 1.7-fold from 463 to 792 per 100,000 people, and exceeded the rate of traffic accidents in 2016. CONCLUSIONS: The incidence of injuries steadily increased after the survey was first conducted, whereas mortality resulting from injuries mostly remained unchanged. This suggests that effective strategies and interventions should be reinforced to reduce unintentional injuries.

The effect of gamma irradiation on the prevention of breeding a patulin-producing mold and reducing patulin content was evaluated in an apple model system. Penicillium griseofulvum, a patulin-producing standard mold strain was artificially inoculated into apples and a gamma irradiation was performed. The D10-values of the conidia of P. griseofulvum in an aqueous suspension and the apple model system were calculated at 0.28 and 0.48 kGy, respectively. The viable cell counts of the inoculated conidia in the apples showed 2 decimal point reductions at a dose of 1 kGy. Breeding and growth of the survived conidia was prevented during 10 weeks of post-irradiation storage period, especially at 4℃. The concentration of patulin in the non-irradiated apples was gradually increased and reached about 950 ppm at 25℃ and 410 ppm at 4℃, but the production of patulin was not observed during storage after 1 kGy of gamma irradiation.

This paper is about electromagnetic compatibility test of neighborhood electric vehicle and electric vehicle, when they are in charging mode connected to the power grid. Disturbances from sources employing on-board system in electric vehicle cause emissions and immunity. Electromagnetic regulations in UN/ECE WP.29 is under working about vehicles providing coupling systems for charging the RESS regarding the control of emissions and immunity from this connection between vehicle and power grid. However there is no any accurate domestic EMC regulation for charging mode. So this research shows test methods and some results related electric vehicle"s charging mode.
