        10학년 과학교과서의 물질 영역 탐구 분석

        본 연구에서는 제 7차 교육과정에 따라 개발된 11종 10학년 과학교과서 화학영역의 탐구를 분석하여 교과서의 개발과 탐구 학습에 대한 교육적 시사점을 찾고자 한다. 탐구를 탐구 주제, 탐구 실험 실습기기, 탐구 지면 할당량의 3가지 영역으로 나누어 분석하였다. 이를 분석한 결과 탐구의 주제와 탐구 실험 기기 영역에서 실생활과 관련된 주제와 기기를 많이 다루고 있다. 교과서마다 표현 방식이나 내용의 차이가 있고 실험기기의 명칭의 일관성이 없으며 동일한 주제에 시용한 실험 · 실습기기에 차이가 있다. 평균 탐구 지면 할당량이 40.5%이며 그 중 '전해질과 이온(45.2%)'단원이 지면 할당량이 가장 높게 나타났다. 단원별 탐구 지면 할당량의 차이가 많이 나타나는 교과서도 있다. 이러한 부분을 보완하기 위해 교사들은 탐구 내용의 전반적인 내용을 파악해서 누락된 부분을 재구성하여 학생들이 다양한 탐구 활동을 할 수 있도록 하여야 한다. Eleven different kinds of the 10the grade science textbook based on the 7th curriculum were analyzed. Especially, inquiry activity on chemistry field was analyzed in order to provide a clue for the development of new science textbooks and the learning through inquiry activity. Analysis of the inquiry activity for the textbooks was made in view of three separate aspects, i.e., inquiry subject, experimental tools and devices for the activity, and number of pages devoted for the inquiry activity. The result indicates that the inquiry subject and the experimental tools and devices are mostly connected with everyday life. Among the textbooks determined, the way of expression and the contents appear to be different. In addition, there is an inconsistency in the name of the experimental tools and devices used and different tools and devices are used for the experiment with the same subject. In average, 40.5% of the total pages of the textbooks are related to the student's inquiry activity. The most extensively discussed subject in relation to inquiry subject is 'an electrolyte and ion (45.2%).' Some of the textbooks include quite different amounts of pages devoted for the inquiry activity between separate chapters. Thus, in order to improve said problems and thus to develop a more complete science textbook, it is required for science teachers to fully analyze and understand its overall contents and to supplement any missing parts so that the students can be able to successfully carry out the various kinds of scientific inquiry activity.

        금사목질진흙버섯 자실체 추출물의 in vivo 항암활성 및 급성, 아 급성 독성 시험

        본 연구는 인공재배 상황버섯 자실체 추출물인 금사목질진흙버섯 자실체 추출물의 mouse sarcoma cells인 S-180 세포에 대한 정맥 투여 시 항암 효과와 급성독성 및 4주 아 급성 독성에 대한 보고이다. 금사목질진흙버섯 자실체 추출물의 항암효과는 250 mg/kg에서 대조군 대비 42.7%의 크기로 가장 높은 효과를 나타내었으며, 농도의존적인 경향을 나타내었다. 급성 독성에서는 LD50치가 632.84 mg/kg (♂)과 814.48 mg/kg (♀)로 나타났으며, 이자와 장기의 무게비가 증가하는 현상이 나타나, 영향이 있는 것으로 추측되었다. 4주 아 급성 독성 시험에서 LD50치는 355.41 mg/kg (♂)과 383.53 mg/kg (♀)로 나타났으며, 특히 250 mg/kg 투여군에서는 간의 무게 비가 2배 정도 증가하는 현상과 황색 반점이 나타났다. 특히 125 mg/kg 이상 투여군에서는 점프 능력과 민첩성 등의 운동 능력이 현저히 증가되는 현상이 관찰되었으며, 이에 대한 정확한 메카니즘은 확인할 수 없었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 금사목질진흙버섯 자실체 추출물에 대한 표준물질 정제 과정을 통한 작용기전과 운동능력 향상에 대한 실험 등이 추가된다면 유효 농도에서 독성이 낮으면서도 암을 제어할 수 있는 새로운 천연물 신약의 후보 물질로 이용될 가능성이 있는 것으로 판단된다. This study used an S-180 cell-injected mouse model to evaluate the antitumor effects of the acute and subacute toxicity of Keumsa (Phellinus linteus) extract intravenously administrated in ICR mice. When administered intravenously (31.3-250 mg/kg body weight), Keumsa (Phellinus linteus) extract significantly inhibited the growth of the solid tumor cell. The antitumor activity of Keumsa (Phellinus linteus) extract increased in a dose-dependent manner. The highest dose (250 mg/kg body weight) was highly effective, reducing tumor formation by 42.7% compared with the control group. In the acute toxicity test, LD50 of the Keumsa (Phellinus linteus) extract showed 632.84 mg/kg (♂) and 814.48 mg/kg (♀) after intravenous administration. In addition, liver and spleen weight were increased in a dose-dependent manner. In the subacute toxicity test, the mice were intravenously administered over the course of 28 days. The LD50 of the Keumsa (Phellinus linteus) extract showed 355.41 mg/kg (♂) and 383.53 mg/kg (♀) after intravenous administration. The liver and spleen weight also increased in a dose-dependent manner. In the case of the group that received more than 125 mg/kg of intravenous administration, exercise capacity, such as jumping ability and agility, were significantly increased. These results suggest that Keumsa (Phellinus linteus) extract can be regarded as a potent enhancer of the innate immune response, and it can be considered as a new natural product with low toxicity that may be used as a candidate for antitumor action.

        Background: Cistanche tubulosa (CT) and Laminaria japonica (LJ) have been reported to have anti-oxidative, anti-coagulant, anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties. They are expected to be a promising candidat for promoting hair growth and treating dandruff and scalp inflammation as a consequence. Objectives: We investigated the efficacy of CM and LJextracts in promoting hair health in patients with mild to moderate patterned hair loss. Methods: Using phototrichogram, we compared the density and diameter of patients receiving placebo or CM and LJ extracts at baseline, 8 and 16 weeks. In order to determine the efficacy of treatment on dandruff and scalp inflammation, investigator``s assessment score and patient``s subjective score are also performed. Results: Using phototrichogram, we compared the density and diameter of patients receiving placebo or CM and LJ extracts at baseline, 8 and 16 weeks.         류마티스 관절염 환자의 혈중 아연 및 구리 농도와 질병 활성도와의 관계

        Objective: To investigate the relationship between serum trace element levels with disease activity in Korean patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Methods: The serum levels of zinc, copper and ceruloplasmin were measured by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometers in 80 patients with RA, 26 osteoarthritis (OA), and 30 healthy controls (HC). We also measured the levels of zinc and copper in the synovial fluid (SF) of patients with RA. We investigated the clinical parameters simultaneously obtained at sampling of serum and analyzed correlation between serum levels of trace elements and disease activity in RA. Results: In RA, the levels of serum zinc were significantly lower than that of HC, and the levels of serum copper and ceruloplasmin were significantly higher than those of HC. In active RA, the levels of serum zinc were more decreased, and the levels of serum copper and ceruloplasmin were more increased than those of inactive group of RA. The levels of both copper and ceruloplasmin showed positive correlation with the levels of serum ESR and CRP. On the other hand, the levels of serum zinc showed negative correlation with the levels of serum ESR and CRP. Conclusion: Serum zinc levels are significantly lower and serum copper levels significantly higher in patients with active RA and these trace elements were useful parameter of disease activity in RA.

        태충(太衝)(LR3)에 대한 영수(迎隨) 및 념전보사(捻轉補瀉)가 intraluminal filament 삽입술(揷入術)에 의하여 유발(誘發)된 백서(白鼠)의 focal ischemia에 미치는 영향(影響)

        Objectives: Acupuncture using a tonification or sedation techniques method is used as a controlling the medication for an early stroke in the Korean medicine. LR3 has indicatons of headache, vertigo, facial paralysis, apoplexy, epiepsy as the source acupoint of a Liver meridian. So this study is aims to investigate the anti-apoptotic and neuroprotective effects of acupuncture on the focal ischemia induced by intraluminal filament insertion in rats. Methods: The focal ischemia was induced by intraluminal filament insertion into middle cerebral artery. The animals were divided into seven groups (n=8 in each group): Normal, intactness group; Conrol group, no therapy group after being ischemia induced; MA-1, acupuncture perpendicularly without Tonification or Sedation techniques at LR3 after being ischemia induced; MA-2, acupuncture obliquely towards the knee at LR3 after being ischemia induced; MA-3, acupuncture obliquely towards the toe at LR3 after being ischemia induced; MA-4, acupuncture obliquely towards the knee and rotate 9 times in a clockwise direction at LR3 after being ischemia induced; MA-5, acupuncture obliquely towards the toe and rotate 6 times in a counterclockwise direction at LR3 after being ischemia induced. The anti-apoptotic and neuroprotective effects of Acupuncture techniques of tonification or sedation at LR3 are observed by mGluR5, Bax, Cresyl violet, ChAT-stain and NGF. Results: The intensity of mGluR5 and the density of ChAT was increased in MA-1 group. The intensity of Bax was decreased in MA-3, MA-4 group. The density of neurons stained by Cresyl violet and ChAT was increased in MA-2, MA-3, MA-4, MA-5 group. The density of neurons stained by NGF was only increased in MA-4 group. Conclusions: Our study suggests that acupuncture perpendicularly without Tonification or Sedation techniques and obliquely towards the knee and rotate 9 times in a clockwise direction(Tonifying technique) at LR3 after being ischemia induced at LR3 shows anti-apoptotic and neuroprotective effects on cholinergic neuron in focal cerebral ischemia of the stroke in rats.

        AHP기법을 이용한 평생교육진흥기본계획 수립을 위한 정책 중요도 분석

        본 연구는 AHP기법을 이용한 평생교육진흥기본계획 수립을 위한 정책 중요도 분석을 위해 대전시 평생교육 실천현장의 평생교육전문가와 평생교육기관장, 평생교육담당자 및 평생교육사 32명을 대상으로 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)방법을 활용하여 추진과제의 영역과 하위 요소의 상대적 중요도와 우선순위를 조사하고 민감도 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과,추진과제 영역별 상대적 중요도는 1) 대학 중심 평생교육체제 실현 2) 온·오프라인 평생학습 종합지원체제 구축 3) 사회통합을 위한 맞춤형 평생학습 지원 4)지역사회의 학습역량 강화 순으로 나타났다. 추진과제 요소별 상대적 중요도는 1) 성인학습자를 위한 대학체제 전환 2) 온라인 평생학습 지원체제 구축 3) 지역대학의 평생교육 역할 강화 4) 세대별‧대상별 맞춤형 평생학습 지원 5) 기초·광역 지자체의 평생교육 추진체제 강화 6) 전문성·투명성 강화를 통한 평생교육 질적 향상 등의 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 앞으로 제3차 평생교육진흥기본계획 수행에 있어서 추진과제의 영역 및 요소들이 모두 중요하지만 그 중에서도 특히 ‘대학 중심 평생교육체제 실현’ 영역과 ‘성인학습자를 위한 대학체제 전환’ 요소 등에 대한 비중 있는 수행이 이루어져야 함을 시사한다. This paper reports the results of an in-depth study on sensitivity analysis based on promoting activities, the relative importance and priority setting in their sub-elements by AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. For this purpose, lifelong education experts, education administrators, lifelong educators from Daejeon lifelong education organizations participated in this Priority Analysis on the Lifelong Education Enhancing Plan using the AHP. The analysis resulted in the relative importance of promoting activities; 1) realizing of lifelong education system oriented by universities, 2) setting up the integrated online and offline lifelong education, 3) strengthening the lifelong education of local universities, 4) offering customized lifelong education by generation and target group, 5) strengthening the lifelong education of local governments, and 6) advancing the quality of lifelong education by focusing on the professionalism and transparency. This suggests that realization of a lifelong education system oriented by universities and the reorganization of an university system for adult learners have greater importance among other tasks and elements in carrying out the 3rd lifelong education enhancing plan.

      • Dual Effect of <i>Chrysanthemum indicum</i> Extract to Stimulate Osteoblast Differentiation and Inhibit Osteoclast Formation and Resorption <i>In Vitro</i>

        <P>The risk of bone-related diseases increases due to the imbalance between bone resorption and bone formation by osteoclasts and osteoblasts, respectively. The goal in the development of antiosteoporotic treatments is an agent that will improve bone through simultaneous osteoblast stimulation and osteoclast inhibition without undesirable side effects. To achieve this goal, numerous studies have been performed to identify novel approaches using natural oriental herbs to treat bone metabolic diseases. In the present study, we investigated the effect of <I>Chrysanthemum indicum</I> extract (CIE) on the differentiation of osteoclastic and osteoblastic cells. CIE inhibited the formation of TRAP-positive mature osteoclasts and of filamentous-actin rings and disrupted the bone-resorbing activity of mature osteoclasts in a dose-dependent manner. CIE strongly inhibited Akt, GSK3<I>β</I>, and I<I>κ</I>B phosphorylation in RANKL-stimulated bone marrow macrophages and did not show any effects on MAP kinases, including p38, ERK, and JNK. Interestingly, CIE also enhanced primary osteoblast differentiation via upregulation of the expression of alkaline phosphatase and the level of extracellular calcium concentrations during the early and terminal stages of differentiation, respectively. Our results revealed that CIE could have a potential therapeutic role in bone-related disorders through its dual effects on osteoclast and osteoblast differentiation.</P>
