      • UVB조사에 의한 Phenothiazine의 광독성에 미치는 Ascorbic Acid의 영향

        광독성 및 광알러지를 일으키는 물질인 phenothiazine계 약물중 chlorpromazine(CPZ), perphenazine(PPZ), trifluoperazine(TFZ), promethazine(PMZ)을 택하여 적혈구에서의 광용혈현상을 Kahn 등의 방법에 의해 UVB(UV irradiation RMX-3W, 1.5 J/㎠)을 조사하여 약물 농도별로 측정한 결과 CPZ, PPZ은 UVB 조사에 의해 약물농도에 따라 현저히 적혈구 용혈현상이 증가 되었으며 이는 ascorbic acid에 의해 유의성있게 감소되었고, 각 약물의 광독성 물질 생성 여부와 이에 의한 용혈독성을 조사해보니 CPZ, PMZ에서 관찰되었고 ascorbic acid에 의해 그 현상이 감소되었다. The purpose of this study is to examine the phototoxicity of four phenothiazine derivatives such as chlorpromazine, perphenazine, trifluorperazine and promethazine, and to investigate the effects of ascorbic acid on their phototoxicity by UVB irradiation. Effects of the test compounds on RBCs were monitored with a spectrophotometer by the method of Kahn et al. The extent of photohemolysis by tested phenothiazine derivatives were increased with their concentration and toxic photoproducts were formed by chlorpromazine and promethazine with preirradiated UVB. Photohemolysis postirradiated chlorpromazine and perphenazine and preirradiated promethazine were decreased with the use of ascorbic acid significantly.

      • 네일링에 의한 기초의 지지력 증대에 관한 연구

        구조물의 하중은 기초지반에 의해 지지된다. 그러나, 기초지반이 지하수의 침투 등에 의해 강도가 저하되거나 구조물의 증축에 의해 지지력이 부족할 경우가 발생한다. 이러한 경우 지반을 보강하기 위해 지반개량 공법이 적용된다. 지반개량 공법 중 네일링 공법은 시공이 간편하고 경제적이며 지반의 인장강도를 증가시키는 역학적 장점 등이 잇어 앞으로 널리 사용될 수 있는 공법이다. 본 연구에서는 네일을 이용하여 기초지반을 보강하여 지반의 강성을 높이고 지반의 지지력을 증대시켜서 구조물의 침하를 억제하는 역학적 기구를 규명하기 위해서 실내모형실험을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 시래모형실험을 통하여, 기초지반 보강용 네일의 설치 각도, 길이, 배치 간격의 변화에 따른 지지력 증대 효과 및 침하억제효과를 분석하여, 최적의 보강방법을 결정하는 것이다. The loads of structure are supported by foundation ground. But the bearing capacity will be able to be lacked by the decrease of ground strength by seepage of ground water or by the extension work of building. In this case, ground improvement method can be applied to increase the ground strength. Among ground improvement methods, nailing method will be used in the future widely, because of its simplicit, economical and mechanical merits of increasing tensile strength on ground. In this study, laboratory model tests are made in order to analyze the effect of ground improvement by nailing method. The final purposes of this study are as follows; (1) The effect of bearing capacity increasing by nails. Especially, the effects of distance, length and angle of nails.       • 등속성 운동 시 근전도 주파수 분석에서 얻은 피로지수의 특성

        In rehabilitation programs involving muscle re-education and endurance exercise, it is necessary to confirm when fatigue occurs. It is also necessary to quantify fatigue, to confirm whether the muscle has been exercised sufficiently. In general, as fatigue occurs, the force-generating ability of the muscle is reduced. If the median frequency (MDF) obtained from electromyograrn (EMG) power spectrum is correlated highly with work, then the timing and degree of fatigue may be confirmed. This study examined the relationship between work and MDF obtained from the EMG power spectrum during repetitive isokinetic exercise. Surface EMG signals were collected from biceps brachii and vastus lateralis of 52 normal subjects (26 males, 26 females) at 120˚/sec and 60˚/sec while performing an isokinetic exercise. The exercise was finished at 25% of peak work. MDF data was obtained using a moving fast Fourier transformation (FPT), and random noise was removed using the inverse FPT, then a new MDF data was obtained from the main signal. There was a high correlation between work and MDF during repetitive isokinetic exercise in the biceps brachii and vastus lateralis of males and the biceps Brachii of temales (r=.50∼.77). However, there was a low correlation between work and MDF in the vastus lateralis of females (r=.06∼.19).

        Arteriovenous fistula of uterus is rarely reported disease. This vascular malformation is very dangerous condition because Dilatation & curettage can cause massive uterine bleeding without accurate diagnosis. The diagnosis is made by angiography, gray scale ultrasonography, color and duplex doppler ultrasonography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging is helpful. Especially color and duplex doppler ultrasonography is allows convincing detection and diagnosis of arteriovenous fistula. Recently transcatheter uterine artery embolization is treatment of choice. We have experienced a case of arteriovenous fistula of uterus. Which is presented with a brief review of literature.

      • 혈액투석환자의 우울에 관한 연구

        This study was conducted to assess degree of depression of hemodialysis patients, and to determine the influence of self--concept and Locus of Control on depression. The subjects were 28 adult patients being treated for hemodialysis at the artificial kidney unit of three hospitals in Seoul and Taejeon. Data was collected from Aug. 1, 1984 to Feb. 28, 1985, referencing the Beck's Inventory for depression, Jacox and Stewart's Health self-concept scale, and Walston's Health Locus of Control Scale. The analysis of data was done by use of percentage, t-test, Analysis of Variance, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, and Multiple Stepwise Regression. The findings of this study are as follows; 1. There were no signicant differences between dermographic characteristics and variables except highly significant difference between depression and occupation (t=-2.38, p=0.025). 2. There was no signicant correlation with the depression and Locus of Control(r=0.3064, p=0.056), but highly significant negative correlation with the depression and self-concept(r=-0.6445, p=0.000). 3. 41.53% of depression can be explained by self concept and 1.1% by Locus of Control.

        rac-5.5.7.12.12.14-hexamethy1-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane hydrate : Lm·H_(2)O was prepared and separated from the corresponding meso-isomer dihydrate according to the Curtis method. The racisomer was confirmed by spectroscopic data of NMR and IR spectroscopy. To synthesize the [CrL_m(OH)₂] complex. the racemic compound purified from meso and racemic mixture was reacted with Cr(II1) salt. The complx ion species {[SrL_m(OH)_(2)]^(+): λ_(max) = 613.0(ε_(max) = 116 M^(-1)cm^(-1)), {[CrLm(OH)(H_(2)O)]^(2+) : λ_(max) = 575.0nm(ε_(max) = 133M^(-1)cm^(-1)). [CrLm(H_(2)O)_(2)]^(3+) : λ_(max) = 532.0nm (ε_(max) = 172M^(-1)cm^(-1))} obtained from pH change of [CrLm(OH)_(2)(OH)_(3)]^(+) solution were confirmed from an electron absorption spectra. The result of the distribution diagram of chemical species proves that main products in the range of solution pH ≤ 3.5 . 3.5 <pH <7, and pH ≥ 7. are [CrLm(H_(2)O)_(2)]^(3+). [CrL_(m)(OH) (H_(2)O)^(2+). and [CrL_m(OH)_(2), respectively. At P~ 2.0, we synthesized several Cr(III)-macrocyclic complexes containing various axial ligands (L_(a) : I, Br^(-), CI^(-), S_(2)O_(3)^(2-), F^(-), malonate, NCS^-, oxalate) instead of H_(2)O. [CrL_m(OH_(2))]^(3+) + L_(a) →[CrL_(m)(L_(a))_(n)]^(+)(n = 1 or 2) Cr(III)-macrocyclic complexes combined with vaious ligands on the axial position were primarily confirmed with the mass spectrum.         대구시 고농도 오존 사례일인 경우 대기 오염물질 농도의 일변화 특성

        This study analyzes the surface ozone, NO and NO_2 concentration data from 1997 to 1999 in Daegu. It investigates effect on precursor during high­ozone episode days. The high­ozone episode is defined when a daily maximum ozone concentration is higher than 100 ppb(ambient air quality standard of Korea) in at least one station among six air quality monitoring stations. The frequency of episodes is 13 days(33 hours). The frequency is the highest in May and September, and the area with the highest frequency is Nowondong and Manchongdong. The average value of daily maximum ozone concentration with ozone episode is 81.6 ppb, and that of 8-hour average ozone concentration is 58.6 ppb. It means that ozone poliution is continuous and wide-ranging in Daegu. The daily variation of NO, NO_2 and O_3 in high-ozone episode are inversely proportional one another. Nowondong an industrial area, is affected by pollutants that are emitted from the primary sources, while Manchondong a residential area by the advection of O_3 or by the primary pollutants like VOC_s.

      • 구강체온, 서혜부체온 및 액와체온에 관한 실험적 비교 연구

        The purposes of this study are to determine differences of body temperature between sublingual, groin and axilla areas and to determine the length of time necessary for temperature taking from 60 women who were student of nursing department, Chungnam National University School of Medicine. This experiment was conducted from May to July, 1983. The electric centigrade thermometer was utilized. Three electric centigrade thermometer probes were inserted in tern under groin, axilla and sublingual areas, and these areas were kept closed while probes were inserted. Temperature readings were taken and recorded at one minute intervals during 10-minute. The temperature was timed using a stopwatch. The data were statistically analyzed by means of the ANOVA, the 2-way ANOVA and cumulative percentage. The results obtained were as follows; 1. The average maximum body temperatures in the sublingual area, groin and axilla were 37.10℃, 36.53℃ and 36.74℃, respectively. The difference of three maximum temperatures was not significant (F=0.556, df=2.17, p=0.5745). 2. The time required for maximum body temperature of oral, groin and axillary temperature were 8.46 minutes, 9.81 minutes and 9.62 minutes. Out of these results, measuring groin temperature is a recommendable way of measuring body temperature, and the use of electric thermometer for body temperature measurement is not yet significant.
