오디오 D/A 컨버터를 위한 인터폴레이티드 디지털 델타-시그마 변조기

디지털 입력 D급 증폭기는 보청기에서 사용되고 있으며 D급 증폭기는 디지털 회로와 아날로그 회로로 구성되어진다. 아날로그 회로는 가청 주파수 대역에서 잡음을 억제하고 디지털 입력을 아날로그 신호로 변환한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 인터폴레이티드 디지털 델타-시그마 변조기는 디지털 신호 처리기의 출력 신호를 D/A 변조기 입력에 적합하도록 데이터를 변조시킨다. 디지털 필터는 16-bit, 25-kbps 펄스 코드 변조 신호를 16-bit, 50-kbps 신호로 보간 작업을 한다. 이 보간 필터 출력은 3차 디지털 델타-시그마 변조기를 통하여 노이즈 쉐이핑(noise shaping) 처리된다. 최종적으로, 1.5-bit, 3.2-Mbps 신호가 D/A변조기 입력으로 인가된다. A digital input class-D audio amplifier is presented for digital hearing aid. The class-D audio amplifier is composed of digital and analog circuits. The analog circuit converts a digital input to a analog audio signal (DAC) with noise suppression in the audio band. An interpolated digital delta-sigma modulator is used to convert data types between digital signal processor (DSP) and digital-to-analog converter (DAC). An 16-bit, 25-kbps pulse code modulated (PCM) input is interpolated to 16-bit, 50-kbps by a digital filter. The output signal of interpolation filter is noise-shaped by a third-order digital sigma-delta modulator (SDM). As a result, 1.5-bit, 3.2-Mbps signal is applied to simple digital to analog converter.

<P>The first transition-metal-free aerobic oxidative conversion of aldehyde catalyzed by a nitroxyl radical/NOx system is presented for the synthesis of nitrile. In the presence of a catalytic amount of 4-AcNH-TEMPO (4-acetamido-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-N-oxyl), NaNO2, and HNO3, benzaldehydes bearing a variety of functional groups under-went condensation with NH4OAc and following aerobic oxidation to produce nitriles selectively under an O-2 balloon. Aerobic oxidative conversion of a primary alcohol instead of aldehyde is also achieved by a one-pot sequential strategy.</P>
The First Successful Lung Transplantation in a Korean Child with Cystic Fibrosis

<P>Cystic fibrosis (CF) is an autosomal recessive inherited multisystem disorder caused by mutations of the gene encoding the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) protein. Respiratory failure remains the most frequent cause of morbidity and mortality. Lung transplantation is the only option to treat end-stage lung disease. Very few cases of CF occur in Koreans. We report the case of a 12-year-old girl with respiratory failure due to CF who underwent lung transplantation. She had been diagnosed with CF 8 years previously after being treated for recurrent <I>Pseudomonas aeruginosa</I> pneumonia and malnutrition based on sweat chloride concentrations and the CFTR protein gene mutation test. Progression to end-stage lung disease and respiratory failure led to registration with the Korean Network for Organ Sharing. She underwent successful double lung transplantation in 2014. Although she has diabetes mellitus and chronic kidney disease, she has a better quality of life and a prolonged life expectancy.</P>
A REMOTE CALIBRATION AND UPGRADE SYSTEM FOR SPECTRUM ANALYZER

Nowadays in our country, spectrum analyzer is mainly used in the fields of the communication. In order to inspect some abnormality, this kind of measuring instruments mainly depends on the certificate authority. These processes are inconvenience, it give rise to the consume of time and expenses. In our study, the proposed system is not only designed to inspect and correct the webs in a long distance, but also being designed possibly to update the spectrum analyzer. Using this technology, the self-upgrade of spectrum analyzer system just like the firmware of mp3 or cell phone, it can be accomplished anytime. Also there is nothing to do with the installed position, the monitoring and inspecting can be realized.
A Smoke Visualization Model for Capturing Surface-Like Features

<P>Abstract</P><P><I>Incense, candle smoke and cigarette smoke often exhibit smoke flows with a surface-like appearance. Although delving into well-known computational fluid dynamics may provide a solution to create such an appearance, we propose a much efficient alternative that combines a low-resolution fluid simulation with explicit geometry provided by NURBS surfaces. Among a wide spectrum of fluid simulation, our algorithm specifically tailors to reproduce the semi-transparent surface look and motion of the smoke. The main idea is that we follow the traces called streaklines created by the advected particles from a simulation and reconstruct NURBS surfaces passing through them. Then, we render the surfaces by applying an opacity map to each surface, where the opacity map is created by utilizing the smoke density and the characteristics of the surface contour. Augmenting the results from low-resolution simulations such a way requires a low computational cost and memory usage by design.</I></P>

본 논고에서는 수학을 창의적으로 학습할 수 있는 교육과정을 개발하고자 했을 때 고려해야 할 다양한 요소들에 대한 관점과 본 연구소에서 진행 중인 연구 개발 절차를 간략히 논의하고, 교과서와 교사용지도서 개발을 목적으로 한 연구소 연구과제의 진행 단계를 기존의 수학과 교육과정 개발 과정과 비교한다. 본 연구소의 개발절차의 특징은 교과서와 교사용지도서의 개발에 앞서 '수업지도안'을 개발하고 실제 현장에 적용하여 봄으로써 실제 수업가능성을 타진하는 과정을 거치도록 하였다는 점이다. 또한, 창의성 개발을 위한 수학교과내용 구성을 단원 차원에서 조사하고, 수업자료를 포함한 교수-학습 지원 체계를 분석하였다. 즉, 제7차 수학과 교육과정의 함수 영역에서 차시별 내용지식의 선정과 교수-학습의 새로운 접근법에 관한 논의를 바탕으로 함수 영역 8-가 단계의 첫 학습과제로 '그래프'를 선정하고 1차시분의 수업지도안 개발과정을 예시로 제안하였다. 이 수업지도안은 함수지도에 있어서 대수적인 접근방법보다 직선의 방정식을 이용한다는 특징이 있다. This paper examines multiple perspectives on the various elements that warrant consideration when developing an educational program conducive to a creative engagement in the learning of mathematics. The paper also discusses concisely the research & development procedure currently in progress at the author's institute, which has as one of its goals the development of textbooks and the accompanying teachers guide, and compares the procedure to the existing procedures for developing mathematics courses. A distinguishing feature of the new procedure is the development of a 'detailed lesson plan,' to be implemented in actual in-class instruction prior to the design of the textbook and its accompanying teachers guide, thus providing a built-in quality check in the very development procedure. Furthermore, the content of the mathematics curriculum conducive to creative engagement is investigated chapter-by-chapter and the entire support system, including the instructional material, for teaching creative mathematics is analyzed. To enable a concrete discussion, the introduction of the concept of the mathematical function as prescribed at differentiated levels 7-A and 8-A by the 7th revised national curriculum of mathematics is considered; in particular, the graph is selected as a sample topic to demonstrate what is meant by a 'detailed lesson plan' for the 1st hour of instruction on the concept of function at the level 8-A. The special aspect about the 'detailed lesson plan' is that the traditional algebraic approach in introducing the function is avoided by using the graphical approach. The advantage of this approach is that students are given the opportunity to gain experience with translation, axial reflection, and rotation of the graphical representation of an equation of a line, thereby laying a foundational experience that may enable the formulation of a formal definition of a function without explicit exposure to the algebraic expression of a function It is the hope of this author's research team that our research will make at least a small contribution in realizing a curriculum conducive to the creative engagement in mathematics.

The government has invested national resources in the machinery area since 1980 to promote the R&D of Machinery. In addition, the government reorganized the science and technology administration system recently enacting new laws related with science and technology to promote the efficient policy of science and technology. At this point, we need to understand the status of national R&D expenditures for the efficient priority setting and budget coordination of national R&D resources in the area of machinery. This paper performs the analysis of the government R&D expenditures by the concerned variables such as program objectives, sector of performance, character of work and technology fields and suggests the policy implications.
