        Objectives : Lumbar radiculopathy is a common disease in oriental rehabilitation medicine. It can be diagnosed by physical examination, plain X-ray, Myelography, CT, MRI, EMG etc. But those methods are not useful in observing the clinical procedure. Objectvie evaluating the clinical procedure is very important in treatment of lumbar radiculopathy. Mehthods : We studied the clinical efficacy of thermography in lumbar radiculopathy during conservative managements. We studied 36 patients with lumbar radiculopathy convinced by MRI. The had low back pain and radiating pain on one side. Thermography had taken before an after 4 weeks treatments, and compared with clinical procedure Results and conclusions : Thermography is not pertinent as a primary diagnostic method in lumbar radiculopathy, but useful in observing the clinical procedure. And it can be recommended as a objective evaluation for lumbar radiculopathy.

        야뇨증 환아들의 심리사회적 특성에 대한 다기관 연구 : 행동 및 정서 문제를 중심으로

        Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.

        One of the recent procedures, the slip line field theory is adopted to find out the exact blank profile for deep drawing square and rectangular cups with a uniform height. The uniformity of drawn cup heights with ideal blanks by this theory is compared with that from other blanks. Drawing forces and thickness distributions are also described experimentally. From this approach, the use of ideal blanks could be suggested to obtain the deeper and the better square and rectangular cups with uniform heights which reduce the trimming allowance to a minimum.

        In the active sonar development, the reverberation is one of the major factors to be overcome like the clutter in the rader development. Unfortunately real reverberation data in various cases cannot be achieved so easily as real clutter data can be and there is a trend to build a simulator before a complex sonar system is developed. In the sonar simulator, the synthesized reverberation signal is necessary. In this paper we propose an algorithm to simulate the reverberation for the moving active sonar to use it in a simulator, and show some simulated results.

      • 세기변조방사선치료의 선량분포 검증에 관한 연구

        Film dosimetry as a part of patient specific intensity modulated radiation therapy quality assurance (IMRT QA) has been accomplished to develop the new optimization method of film isocenter offset and to suggest the new quantitative criteria for film doimetry after optimization. Five patients with head and neck cancers were measured in IMRT dosimetry by film method. Optimization method with the local minimum was developed to adjust the film isocenter offset error, which is the biggest part of systemic errors. The mean ratios were 5.33% and 7.09% for 5mm and 1 mm resolution dose data optimization respectively.

      • 道德性의 發達과 環境

        The major approaches on morality, as the ability of moral judgement, include psychol-analytic, behavioralist, and cognition-developmental perspectives. While Piaget compared heteronomous morality with autonomous morality in his discussion of the developmental stages of morality, Kohlberg devided the stages into three levels and six stages. His three levels include preconventional, conventional, and postconventional levels. For the difference of morality, age is an important variable. Orphan asylum students have, in general, lower morality than general students. While the studies on the gender effect in general population did not produce consistent results, our study on a sample of orphan asylum students shows that female students have higher morality than male students if their age is same. According to Kohlberg, even though cultural differences do not influence the sequence of moral development, cultural differences and the degree of modernization influence the contents of the last stage of moral development or reasoning. Intellectual and social stimuli also influence the development of morality very much and some adults may not achieve the last stage of moral development. In the relationship between environment and the development of morality, family, peer, social, cultural, and economic environments are the important variables to influence the development of morality. Especially, asylum environment has negative effects on the development of morality for children. It is well know that many studies show a high correlationship between environment and moral development. Hower, there is lack of studies about childern and the youth in asylum environment in Korea. Since asylum environment has very serious effects on the development of morality, there should be more attention to the effects of asylum environment on moral development. The studies on the effects of asylum environment can help children and the youth in asylum environment achieve a more positive selp-concept and the ability to develop better moral judgement.

      • LPE법으로 작성한 산화물초전도체 Bi₂Sr₂-Ca₁+Cu₂ 막(films) 의 초전도특성

        LPE(Liquid press epitaxy)법을 이용하여, Sr과 Ca가 서로 상호 치환된 산화물초전도체 Bi₂Sr₂??Ca₁+x??Cu₂O??(x?=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6) 막(film)을 작성하여 상호치환 상태와 초전도특성과의 관계를 알아보았다. 작성한 막(film)의 조성비은 융액조성비(x?)와 막(film)속의 조성비(x?)가 비례함을 알 수 있었고, c-축으로 강하게 배향된전형적인 Bi2212상의 단일상(singe-phase)을 보였다. 치환량 x?의 증가에 따라, 임계온도 T??, c-축의 길이, carrier농도 등은 단조로이 감소하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. We investigated the superconductivity of Bi₂Sr₂_Ca₁+x?Cu₂O?+?x?=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6) films by liquid phase epitaxial method. X-ray diffraction measurements revealed that films were predominantly oriented with the c-axis perpendicular to the substrate surfaces. The zero-resistance temperature and the lattice parameter c linearly decreased with the increase of x?, corresponding to the decrease of the carrier concentration.

      • Urapidil, Labetalol의 투여가 기관내 삽관시 심혈관계에 미치는 영향

        We have examined the comparative efficacy of small doses of intravenous urapidil and labetalol in blunting hemodynamic response to endotracheal intubation and surgical incision in 30 patients without cardiovascular diseases. After intravenous urapidil 0.2 mg/kg or labetalol 0.2 mg/kg anesthesia was induced with thiopental 5mg/kg. Endotracheal intubation was facilitated by vecuronium 0.15 mg/kg with priming principle and anesthesia was maintained with enflurane and nitrous oxide in oxygen. Systolic, diastolic and mean arterial pressure and heart rate were measured before administration of the drugs, 5 minute after administration, just prior to endotracheal intubation and 1, 3, 5, 10 minute after intubatin. Also the peak blood pressures and heart rate within 10 minutes after surgical incision were measured. Endotracheal intubation and surgical stimulation were associated with significant increases in blood pressures and heart rate in both urapidil and labetalol group. Comparison of the changes in systolic, diastolic, and mean artrial pressures and heart rate between urapidil and labetalol group showed no significant difference except peak systolic pressure after surgical incision. It is concluded that the pressor response to endotracheal intubation and surgical stimulation are not influenced significantly by urapidil 0.2 mg/kg or labetalol 0.2 mg/kg. However, urapidil and labetalol preloading may be similarly effective in the blunting of the increases in blood pressures with larger doses of the durgs during anesthetic induction.

      • Bi계 산화물초전도체 2212상(phase)에 있어서 상호치환상태에 관한 연구

        고상반응법으로 Bi₂? Sr?CaCu₂O?와 Bi₂Sr?Ca?Cu₂o?시료를 작성하여 조성변화에 따른 상호치환상태와 초전적도특성에 관하여 알아보았다. Bi₂+ Sr?CaCu₂O?시료의 경우 -0.1≤x≤0.1영역에서 전형적인 Bi계 2212상의 단일상 (single phase)을 얻었다. x의 증가에 따라, a축과 b축의 길이는 거의 일정하고 c축의 길이는 감소하며, 임계온도 T?와 산소량은 증가하고 Bi의 유효가수는 감소하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 또한, Bi₂Sr?Ca?Cu₂o?시료의 경우, -0.2≤y≤0.8 영역에서 전형적인 Bi계 2212상의 단일상(single phase)을 얻었다. y의 증가에 따라, a, b c 축의 길이는 감소를 보이며, 임계온도 T?와 산소량은 감소하는 경향을 보이고 Bi의 유효가수는 약갼 증가하는 경향을 보이고 있다. EPMA and XPS on Bi₂Sr?CaCu₂O? and Bi₂Sr?Ca?Cu₂o? prepared by the solid-state reaction were performed in order to investigate superconductivity and mutual substitution state. In the Bi₂? Sr?CaCu₂O? singe phase samples were obtained in the range of -0.1≤x≤0.1. Within the solubility limit, the c-axis seemed to decrease with increasing x. In the region of the 80K singe phase, the T? and oxygen content increased with increase of x. corresponding to the decrease of the Bi mean valence. In the Bi₂Sr?Ca?Cu₂o?, singe phase samples were obtained in the range of -0.2≤y≤0.8 . Within the solubility limit, the a,b,c-axis seemed to decrease with increasing y. In the region of the 80K singe phase, the T? and oxygen content decreased with increase of y. corresponding to the increase of the Bi mean valence.

      • Bi계 산화물 초전도체 2212상에 있어서 Bi 자리에 Ge 치환에 따른 초전도 특성

        고상반응법(solid-state reaction)으로 산화물 초전도체 Bi_2-xGe_xSr_2CaCu_2O_8+8(x=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5)을 제조하여 치환에 따른 산소량의 변화가 초전도 특성에 미치는 영향에 관하여 조사하였다. 이차 가압(intermediate press) 방법으로 제조한 시편은 온도 폭 △K(온도 임계온도 T_c^on과 영저항 임계온도 T_c^zero와의 차)가 상당히 감소함을 알았으며 80 K 단일상 고용한계는 Ge 치환량이 x<- 0.3영역임을 알았다. 고용한계 영역 내에서 Ge 치환량 x의 증가에 따라 격자상수 c가 감소함을 보였으며, 온셋 임계온도 T_c^on은 증가하였고, 과잉(여분) 샨소량은 감소함을 보였다. Samples with the nominal composition, Bi_2-xGe_xSr_2CaCu_2O_8+8(x=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5) were prepared by the solid-state reaction method. We have studied the effect of substitution Ge for Bi and investigated the superconducting properties by changing oxygen content with Ge substitution. It was found that temperature difference, △K, between T_c^on and T_c^zero was considerably smaller in the samples prepared by the intermediate pressing method than that in the samples by the solid-state reaction method. We found the solubility limit of Ge to the 80 K single phase, the onset critical temperature T_c^on increased and excess oxygen content decreased with increase of x.
