Trauma to the dento-alveolar complex can cause various problems. Some of the immediate problems are fracture, luxation and avulsion of teeth. Later complications of trauma include loss of vitality, pathologic root resorption, periapical infection, impaction and ectopic eruption. Ectopic eruption is a term which may indicate an abnormality of direction during tooth eruption of final tooth position. These case reports described the ectopic maxillary canine in which trauma, at early age, was the primary etiological factor. In case 1, the traumatic injury was occurred in primary anterior dentition, and in case 2, it occurred in early mixed dentition.
A Simple Scheme for Jitter Reduction in Phase-Differential Carrier Frequency Recovery Loop

A very simple and efficient scheme for jitter reduction is proposed for a carrier frequency recovery loop using phase differential frequency estimation, which estimates the current frequency offset based on the difference of the average phases of two successive intervals. Analytical and numerical results presented in this paper show that by simply overlapping the observation intervals by half for frequency offset estimations, both the steady-state and transient performances can be improved. The proposed scheme does not require any additional hardware circuitry, but results in improved performance even with reduced complexity.

본 논문은 산업현장에서 발생하는 폐열원을 이용하여 200㎾의 발전을 하기위한 터빈의 개발에 관한 전반적인 과정이 제시되었다. 유기 랭킨 사이클에 적용되는 터빈은 세계적으로도 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있는 단계이며, 시장 성장에 관한 잠재성이 크다. 따라서 국내의 연구기관에서도 많은 관심을 가지고 연구가 진행되고 있지만 상품 개발까지는 아직 도달하지 못하고 있는 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 유기 랭킨 사이클에서 작동하는 200㎾급 터빈을 개발 하는데, 사이클 해석을 바탕으로 비속도 분석, mean line 해석, 3차원 해석 과정이 설명되었다. 그리고 해석 결과를 바탕으로 터빈 요소 부품을 제작하였고, 회전체 안정성 시험 및 성능시험을 수행하였다. 터빈 개발은 세계적으로도 활발히 이루어지지만 개발 과정과 단계에 대한 사항은 기업 비밀이란 이유로 공개 되지 않는 실정이다. 본 논문은 유기 랭킨 사이클용 터빈의 개발에 있어 어떠한 과정과 단계로 진행되는지 참고가 될 수 있을 것이다. This paper presents the process of turbine development for Organic Rankine Cycle(ORC) system. Development of turbine for ORC system is hot issue in the electric generation market due to the characteristic of organic refrigerant which the evaporate temperature is lower than general refrigerant. Recently, the industry have an interest about ORC turbine development in Korea, and they presented numerous research results. In developing the turbine, several processes can be considered. However, there was few document about ORC turbine development because of the trade secret. This paper can be used as a reference in developing ORC turbine.

Hierarchical modulation is considered to provide higher data rate for the next-generation DAB/T-DMB, maintaining backward compatibility to the conventional DAB/T-DMB. Since dedicated pilots are not available due to the backward compatibility, channel estimation is the most critical issue for demodulation of the hierarchically modulated signal. In this paper, a non-Gray bit mapping scheme is proposed for the next-generation DAB/T-DMB receivers with low complexity and power consumption.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the streetscape change according to housing redevelopment plan. This study is composed the following three parts. In the first part, the concept and the process of the redevelopment plan are reviewed as a theoretical study. In the second part, the concept and problems of the urban landscape are reviewed. As a case study, the elements of the streetscape in some housing estates in Daejeon City are analyzed to find out the characteristics of the streetscape change according to redevelopment planning in the last part.
Performance evaluation of two-stage turbine for the organic rankine cycle system

An experimental performance test was conducted to evaluate the performance of 200 kW ORC (Organic rankine cycle) turbine. To satisfy the expansion ratio, a two-stage turbine was designed. The turbine rotors were positioned as back to back to compensate the thrust force, and the target speed was designed as 15000 rpm. The working fluid was R-245fa organic fluid, and a set of ball bearing was adopted. To guarantee the stable operation of the ORC turbine at the design speed, several procedures were conducted. This paper introduces the procedures carried out before the main test to satisfy the design speed operation. Rotor dynamic analysis, rotor balancing, spin test, and ball bearing stabilization were performed to ensure stable ORC turbine operation. In addition, the ball bearing grease for the high-temperature operation condition was adopted, and the bearing cooling device was also installed. During the test, vibration level and bearing temperature were monitored in real time. The ORC turbine loop was constructed to evaluate the performance of the ORC turbine. With the progress for stable operation, the developed ORC turbine could maintain its stability and get the target performance at the loop test. These introduced procedures could be used as reference to develop a modified ORC turbine.
