The heat transfer printing of flax and mikulon fiber influence by acetic acid was studied. The result obtained by Digital Color and Difference Computer method arc as follows: Dominant wavelength of Diacellitiou Red Rbl/D treated by acid was changed from purple red to red. This indicated that the complementary wavelength shifted to longer wavelength. Artisile Yellow 5GP treated by acid was changed from green yellow to yellow. However, the dominant wavelength of Cibacet Blue F3R was not changed.
Curcumin Enhances Docetaxel-Induced Apoptosis of 8505C Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma Cells

Background: Anaplastic thyroid cancer (ATC) is one of the most aggressive malignancies in humans, and its progression is poorly controlled by existing therapeutic methods. Curcumin has been shown to suppress inflammation and angiogenesis. In this study, we evaluated whether curcumin could augment docetaxel-induced apoptosis of ATC cells. We also analyzed changes in nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) expression levels to delineate possible mechanisms of their combined action. Methods: ATC cells were cultured and treated with curcumin and docetaxel alone or in combination. The effects on cell viability were determined by MTS assay. Apoptosis was assessed by annexin V staining and confirmed by flow cytometric analysis. Caspase, COX-2, NF-κB levels were assayed by Western blotting. Results: Curcumin combined with docetaxel led to lower cell viability than treatment with docetaxel or curcumin alone. Annexin V staining followed by flow cytometric analysis demonstrated that curcumin treatment enhanced the docetaxel-induced apoptosis of ATC cells. Additionally, curcumin inhibited docetaxel-induced p65 activation and COX-2 expression. Conclusion: We conclude that curcumin may enhance docetaxel’s antitumor activity in ATC cells by interfering with NF-κB and COX-2. Our results suggest that curcumin may emerge as an attractive therapeutic candidate to enhance the antitumor activity of taxanes in ATC treatment.

This study deals with modeling ozone with meteorological and air monitoring variables. Daily ozone values were measured in 27 places in Seoul for the period January 1999-December 1999. Air quality monitoring data consist of CO, N02, 03, PM10, TSP and meteorology data consist of daily maximum temperature, humidity and wind speed and solar radiation. The complexity of environmental data dynamics often requires models covering non-linearity. Photochemical ozone pollution is the result of complex non-linear interactions between atmospheric pollutants and meteorology. The generalized additive model is favored because it is the most flexible with the fewest statistical assumptions and because it can detect and fit potentially complex and nonlinear dependencies. For those reasons we model the daily ozone amount with a generalized additive model with loess smooth functions and compare with a multiple linear regression model.
개인정보보호법 준수를 위한 병원 내 처방전달시스템의 보안 요구사항

최근 병원에서 구축되고 있는 처방전달시스템은 환자 개인의 신상 정보는 물론 진료 기록과 병력 등을 저장하여 관리하는 중요한 의료 정보 시스템의 하나이다. 그러나 처방전달시스템이 다양한 사용 자의 요구사항을 받아들이면서 복잡해지고 있고, 이로 기반으로 한 처방전달시스템의 취약점과 위협 도 함께 증가하는 추세에 있다. 본 논문에서는 병원 내 처방전달시스템이 다루는 의료정보와 개인정 보 관련법을 분석하여 법적인 요구사항을 만족하기 위한 요구사항을 제시한다. 본 연구의 결과는 환 자의 생명과 직결되는 의료정보를 보호하고, 안전한 의료정보 시스템을 구축하는데 도움이 될 것으로 판단한다.
