Applications of the plate heat exchanger are being expanded in ships and marine plants. Marine engine L.O(lubricant oil) cooler is one of the applications of the plate heat exchanger. It has very important role as engine radiator in the ship. Lubricant oil is flowed inside ship engine like the land engine and temperature is up to 80~90℃. Some L.O coolers are mounted in the front of the engine, and operating pressure is up to 4~8 ㎏/㎠. Because vibration of engine is passed to L.O cooler, anti-vibration is required. New L.O cooler for medium speed marine engine was developed, and its performance was evaluated by test and provided in this paper.

Plate heat exchanger consists of thin, rectangular, pressed sheet metal plates that are sandwiched between full peripheral gaskets and clamped together in a frame. The frame has a fixed end-cover plate, fitted with the connecting ports, which is bolted together with a movable cover plate to hold the embossed plates in between; the top and bottom carrying bars allow proper alignment of the plate stacks. When compared with the well-established shell and tube heat exchangers, the plate heat exchanger shows a lot of advantages like high NTU values, compactness, low cost, multi duties and reduced fouling etc. Plate heat exchangers are often used to transfer heating or cooling water which is produced in the energy production( district heating or district cooling) facilities to residential areas and industrial parks. The district cooling systems of Middle East are the biggest market of plate heat exchanger, but the technical specifications for cooling system are different from the domestic one. To achieve its specifications, the new plate heat exchanger was developed, and its thermal performance results are introduced in this paper.

In view of space saving, the design of more compact heat exchangers is important. Also, to meet the demands for saving energy and resources today, manufacturers have tried to enhance efficiency and reduce the size and weight of heat exchangers. Over the past decades, there have been tremendous advancements in the manufacturing technology of high efficiency heat exchangers. This has allowed the use of high performance(high heat transfer coefficient and low pressure drop) heat exchangers. Consequently, the use of high performance heat exchanger becomes popular in the design of heat exchangers. When compared with the well-established shell and tube heat exchangers, the plate heat exchanger shows a lot of advantages like high NTU values, compactness, low cost, multi duties and reduced fouling etc. For the higher performance in plate heat exchanger, the snake pattern in the heat transfer plate has been developed instead of the conventional herringbone pattern. The performance of the plate heat exchanger with snake pattern was evaluated by test, and provided in this paper.

This has allowed the use of smaller and high performance heat exchangers. Consequently, the use of smaller and high performance heat exchanger becomes popular in the design of heat exchangers. Welded compact plate heat exchanger is used in high temperature and pressure. In the design of heat exchanger, it is necessary to understand the heat transfer and frictional characteristics, so performance data are provided to help design of this type heat exchanger.

The purpose of this study is to review academic research on industrial relations in public sector and to suggest future research directions in analyzing 115 articles drawn from Research Information Sharing Service (RISS). To analyze the articles for the last 20 years, we classify the research based on the system of analysis we make, considering theories, subjects, disciplines and methods. We distinguish the relevant articles according to the President’s term because the industrial relations outcome in public sector has been influenced by the policies of ruling government. There are four major points from our research. First, the research tends to focus on industrial relations actors and rule-setting process reflecting the fact that industrial relations in public sector has been mainly developed in subjects of government’s reformation policy on public sector and trade unions’ responses, and trade union’s action following to legalization of the Public Employees Union and Teachers Union. Second, in terms of academic discipline we find that research has been published mainly in Public Administration journal than Industrial Relations. We speculate industrial relations in public sector has been involved in Korean government’s policy. Interestingly, Public Administration deals with public employees in and of themselves, while Management and other social science addresses on public enterprise. Third, to take a look at the level of analysis we find the trends of more national level studies in Law, more industrial level analyses in Public Administration, and more individual level research in Management. Finally, regarding research methodology we find that deductive approach using statistics has been increasingly developed in recent years. Based on such points we analyse, our conclusion is as below: First, research topics on industrial relations in public sector are accounted of the law and institution setting and their enforcement as political context, while the research has not attracted little attention to the comparison from its private sector. Second, the research tends to address certain issues that certain discipline focuses on, instead of attempt to find and explore wider range of interdisciplinary subjects and methods. Third, we find the research trend that quantitative research methods are increased using statistics analysis. In conclusion, we summarize the issues that will need to be considered in future research directions on industrial relations in public sector and identify the limitations of our analysis.
무선 애드 혹 네트워크 환경에서 정삼각형을 이용한 효율적인 브로드캐스팅 프로토콜

브로드캐스팅 프로토콜은 무선 애드 혹 네트워크에서 컨트롤 메시지를 전체 노드에 전송하기 위한 목적으로 널리 사용된다. 전통적인 브로드캐스팅 프로토콜은 모든 노드가 처음 받은 메시지를 재전송하기 때문에 극심한 중복전송과 충돌문제가 발생한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 최근에 효율적으로 재전송노드를 줄이기 위한 브로드캐스팅 기법들이 제안되었지만 여전히 다수의 불필요한 재전송이 발생한다. 제안 기법은 1-홉 이웃노드의 위치정보를 이용하여 전파반경에 내접하는 정삼각형의 꼭짓점을 구하고 각 꼭짓점에 가장 가까운 이웃노드를 재전송노드로 선택한다. 우리는 먼저 재전송 노드를 최소화하기 위한 이상적인 모델을 제시하고 이상적인 모델에 근접하기 위한 방법을 설명한다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 제안 기법이 기존의 효율적인 브로드캐스팅 프로토콜보다 성능이 우수하며 재전송 노드수가 lower bound에 근접하는 것을 보여준다.

When some amount of liquid makes impact against the hot wall surface. in spray cooling and evaporating type combustor( I), and after impacting liquid changes into fine panicles and then disperses or evaporates. By using PTC heater. it makes high temperature( 180℃) wall surface. Gasoline is injected on this wall surface provided .characteristics of injected flow rate arc measured. Also. the processes of impacting against wall surface are taken by 35mm camera. As gasoline is impacted on heated wall surface and unheated wall surface. The amount of vaporization are obtained each.<br/> In this study. both evaporation rate of heated wall surface and that of unheated wall surface are measured. The evaporation rate impacted against high temperature is far superior to that which is depending on only impacting.
