PECVD법에 의해 증착된 SiO<sub>2</sub> 후막의 광학적 성질 및 구조적 분석

저온($320^{\circ}$C)에서 $SiH_4$와 $N_2O$ 가스의 혼합을 통해 플라즈마화학기상증착(PECVD)법을 이용하여 실리카 광도파로의 클래딩막으로 사용되는 $SiO_2$ 후막을 제조하였으며, 공정변수로는 $N_2O/SiH_4$ 유량비와 RF power에 변화를 주었다. 증착된 시편은 $N_2$ 분위기의 열처리로에서 $1050{\circ}$에서 2시간동안 열처리하였다. $N_2O/SiH_4$ 유량비가 증가함에 따라 증착속도는 $9.4~2.9{\mu}m /h$까지 감소하였으며, RF power가 증가함에 따라 증착속도는 $4.7~6.9{\mu}m /h$까지 증가하였다. 두께 및 굴절률은 Prism Coupler를 이용하여 분석하였다. 화학적 성질 및 구조적 성질은 X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS)와 Fourier Transform-Infrared Spectroscopy(FT-IR)를 이용하여 분석하였으며, Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM)를 이용하여 시편의 단면을 관찰하였다. Silicon dioxide thick film using silica optical waveguide cladding was fabricated by Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition(PECVD) method, at a low temperature ($320^{\circ}$C) and from $(SiH_4+N_2O)$ gas mixtures. The effects of deposition parameters on properties of $SiO_2$ thick films were investigated by variation of $N_2O/SiH_4$ flow ratio and RF power. After the deposition process, the samples were annealed in a furnace at $1150^{\circ}$C, in N2 atmosphere, for 2h. As the $N_2O/SiH_4$ flow ratio increased, deposition rate decreased from 9.4 to 2.9 ${\mu}m/h$. As the RF power increased, deposition rate increased from 4.7 to 6.9 ${\mu}m/h$. The thickness and the refractive index measurements were measured by prism coupler. X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS) and Fourier Transform-infrared Spectroscopy(FT-IR) were used to determine the chemical states. The cross-section of films was observed by Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM).
The Measurements of Data Accuracy and Error Detection in DEM using GRASS and Arc/Info

GIS 데이타의 정확도 문제는 DEM과 같은 데이터의 유용성과 적용에 대한 서로 다른 견해를 불러 일으킨다. 데이터의 정확성은 좌표의 정확한 위치와 속성정보를 무작위적으로 검색하여 결정할 수 있다. DEM은 과거 보다는 손쉽게 취득할수 있고 이를 처리할수 있는 소프트웨어도 다양해 졌으나 GIS의 응용은 이미 만들어진 데이터에 따라 그 결과가 달라질수 있으므로 데이터의 정확도와 에러에 대한 주의를 기울일 필요가 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 1:24,000과 1:250,000 DEM 데이터를 이용하여 DEM의 정확도를 검색하고 데이터가 지닌 에러를 찾아내는 방법을 모색하는데 있다. GRASS와 Arc/Info를 이용하여 DEM을 레이어로 만들어내는 과정 또한 연구 되었다. 연구지역은 250 $km^2$의 면적을 지녔으며 연구 결과 1:250,000 DEM에서는 실제 등고값이 정상적으로 처리 되었으나 1:24,000 DEM에서는 실제의 등고값이 아닌 0으로 표현된 에러가 발견되었다. The issue of data accuracy brings a different perspective to the issue of GIS modeling, calls into a question the usefulness of data models such as DEM. Accuracy can be determined by randomly checking positional and attribute accuracy within a GIS data layer. With the increasing availability of DEM and the software capable of processing them, it is worthwhile to call attention for data accuracy and error analysis as GIS application depends on the priori established spatial data. The purpose of this paper was to investigate methods for data accuracy measurement and error detection methodology with two types of DEM's: 1 to 24,000 and 1 to 250,000 DEM released by U.S. Geological Survey. Another emphasis was given to the development of methodology for processing DEM's to create Arc/Info and GRASS layers. Data accuracy analysis with DEM was applied to a 250 sq.km area and an error was detected at a scale of 1:24,000 DEM. There were two possible reasons for this error: gross errors and blunders.

Objectives The relationships between adolescent depression and obesity, life style has been reported, but usually study results were not consistent with the study before. This study was designed to evaluate clear relationship between obesity and depressive trends, life styles in middle school students. Methods The study participants were the 1th, 2th grade students from one middle school in Kang dong Gu, Seoul(479 Students). The participants were measured their height and weight, and they were also surveyed by questionnaire. We diagnosed the students as depressives when they scored 10 points or above on Children's Depression Inventory(CDI) of Kovacs and Beck. Results The mean depression score in the obese group was significantly higher than that of the normal body weight group, and the more severely obese the group was, the higher the depression scores for this group were. The depression score of the boys obese group was higher than the girls obese group. The depression score was significantly higher in the obese group of people who hate to do exercising, like computer games and like watching TV instead, than in the group of people who like to do exercising and don't play computer games. Conclusions This study showed that depressive mood during adolescent was related to obesity and obesity-related lifestyles.

본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 사용자가 침해 사실을 직접 확인하기 힘든 중간자 공격에 의한 보안서버의 무효화 공격에 대한 대응법을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 현재 존재하는 다양한 유형의 중간자공격에 대해서 기존의 대응방안에 대해 분석한다. 이어서 기존의 연구에서 아직 해결되지 않았으며 본 연구의 제안 기법인 민감 정보 전송 전 세션 상태를 확인하여 비정상 접속이 확인되면 사용자가 민감 정보를 전송하지 못하게 하고, 사용자로 하여금 침해에 대한 경각심을 가질 수 있게 안내페이지로 전환하는 시큐어코딩 기법을 제안한다. In this work we propose a new method to countermeasure against the abatement attack to the security server that is induced by man-in-the-middle attack. To that purpose, we first investigate the state of the art in the current research about the abatement attack. After that, we propose a new countermeasure method that can cope with the unresolved problems in the current method, which can cover diverse types of network.
GaN-on-Si 기술을 위한 탄화텅스텐 버퍼층의 성장에 관한 연구

Tungsten carbide (WC) has been suggested as a new buffer layer for the GaN-on-Si technology. We have investigated and optimized the sputtering condition of WC layer on the Si-substrate. We confirmed the suppression of the Si melt-back phenomenon. In addition, surface energy of WC/Si layer was measured to confirm the possibility as a buffer layer for GaN growth. We found that the surface energy(${\gamma}=82.46mJ/cm^2$) of WC layer is very similar to that of sapphire substrate(${\gamma}=82.71mJ/cm^2$). We grow GaN layer on the WC buffer by using gas-source MBE, and confirm that it is available to grow a single crystalline GaN layer.

Adenoid cystic carcinoma(ACC) is the second most common malignant neoplasm in the salivary gland. In spite of ACC shows slowly growing nature, it is sometimes highly detrimental that it readily invades adjacent tissues and metastasize to distant organs at the early stage of disease. Hence, treatment outcome may be misfortunate due to wide regional infiltration, pathognomonic perineural spread and the tendency of hematogenous metastasis. We present a unusal case of ACC of the scalp in which the patient initially presented with bumpy mass of the scalp who had been diagnosed as the primarily developed ACC of the right hard palate that extended to infratemporal fossa, nasal cavity, and paranasal sinuses and had been treated by total excision and post-operative chemotherapy and radiation therapy for 10 years ago. Although this lesion occured at the scalp, which is a frequent site of primary dermatologic ACC, its histomorphology was the same with that of previous tumor. Complete clinical examination showed no recurrence sign at the primary site and suggested the scalp as a sole treatment failure site. Accordingly, it would be reasonable to consider the present case as either a scalp metastasis or a second primary lesion of salivary gland ACC.
