활동기와 동면기에 동면동물인 살모사에 있어서 혈액내 가스함량과 부분압인 TCO_2, P0_2, PO_2 및 pH와 일반적인 혈액상인 적혈구수, 백혈구수, 혈색소, Hematocrit 등의 변화를 조사한바 다음과 같이 요약하였다. 1. 총이산화탄소량 (TCO_2), 이산화탄소부분압P(C0_2), 산소압(PO_2)과 pH는 활동기보다 동면기 에 증가하였다. 2. 적혈구수, 혈색소, 적혈구백분율(Hematocrit)은 활동기보다 동면기에 약간 증가하는 경향이었다. 3. 백혈구수는 활동기보다 동면기에 뚜렷한 감소를 보였다. 환경온도와 체온의 저하로 인한 혈액내의 변화는 인정할 수 있었다. This thesis were performed in order to study physiological changes of vipers in the active phase and hibernation phase, Physiological changes were blood gas volume and pressure (TCO_2, PCO_2, PO_2), blood pH and blood pictures (RBC, WBC, Hemoglobin, Hematocrit) The obtained results were summalize as follows; 1. TCO_2, PCO_2, PO_2 and pH increased considerably in hibernation phase, compared with active phase. 2. RBC, Hemoglobin and Hematocrit increased slightly in hibernation phase, compared with active phase. 3. WBC, decreased considerably in hibernation phase, compared with active phase 4. The decrease of environmental and body temperature showed change of blood components.

In the microsurgical era, replantation with microvascular anastomosis is considered as the most superior method in aspects of texture, color, shape in case of nose amputation. There are some reported cases of replantation in nose amputation historically, but most of them are composite graft cases rather than microvascular anastomosis. Only a few cases of successful nasal replantation with microvascular anastomosis have been reported due to the reason that the size of vessels is usually very small and identifying suitable vessels for anastomosis is difficult. Microanastomosis of artery and microanastomosis of vein are ideal in replantation, but identifying suitable veins is often difficult. Without venous anastomosis, resolving the venous congestion remains to be a problem. We can carry out arteriovenous shunt if we can find two arteries in amputee. However, the smaller the size of amputee is, the more difficult it is to find two arteries. Instead of arteriovenous shunt, we can try external venous drainage(frequently swab, pin-prick, stab incision, IV or local heparin injection, dropping, apply of heparin-soaked gauze, use of medical leech). Here, we present three cases of replantation with microscopical arterial anastomosis (one angular artery, two dorsal nasal arteries) and external venous drainage (stab incision, application of medical leech and heparin-soaked gauze) even though the size of amputee may be as small as $1.5{\times}1.0cm$. In all cases, surgical outcomes were excellent in cosmetic and functional aspects. This report describes successful replantation by microvasular anastomosis in case that suitable veins are not found.
PRSV 상태방정식을 이용한 고분자 수용액 계의 기액 평형

In this work, we calculated the vapor-liquid equilibrium of aqueous polymer solutions by using PRSV equation of state combined with C^ex mixing rules(HVO, MHVI, MHV2, LCVM). From the comparison of calculated results with experimental data obtained from literature, we found that calculation results by using MHV1 mixing rule have showed small range of error than HVO, MHV2 and LCVM mixing rules. Calculation results by using the combination of MHV1 mixing rule and UNIFAC-FV model have showed the best result for selected aqueous polymer solutions.
Focal Atrial Tachycardia Arising from the Inferior Vena Cava

The inferior vena cava (IVC) is a rare site of focal atrial tachycardia (AT). Here, we report a 20-year-old woman who underwent catheter ablation for anti-arrhythmic drug-resistant AT originating from the IVC. She had undergone open-heart surgery for patch closure of an atrial septal defect 17 years previously and permanent pacemaker implantation for sinus node dysfunction 6 years previously. The AT focus was at the anterolateral aspect of the IVC-right atrial junction, and it was successfully ablated underthree-dimensional electroanatomical-mapping guidance. We suspect that the mechanism of this tachycardia was associated with previous IVC cannulation for open-heart surgery.
연료전지용 Pt/C 촉매 합성에 있어서 PVP가 Pt 나노입자의 분산 및 촉매 활성에 미치는 영향

Pt-loaded carbon black for the catalyst of a PEM fuel cell was synthesized with different molar ratios of polyvinylpyrrolidone and $H_2PtCl_6$ solution to improve the dispersion of Pt nanoparticles on carbon black and decrease the size of Pt nanoparticles. From transmission electron microscopy results, Pt nanoparticles of a size of approximately 2 nm were highly dispersed when the polyvinylpyrrolidone concentration was 10mM. The electrochemical activity of the synthesized Pt/C catalysts was investigated by cyclic voltammetry, showing that the as-synthesized Pt-loaded carbon black catalyst had the best activity at a polyvinylpyrrolidone concentration of 10 mM.
Effects of Glycerol on Melt Spinning of Polyacrylonitrile Copolymer and Tetrapolymer

Comonomers vinylimidazole, methyl acrylate, and acrylic acid were added to acrylonitrile to synthesize two polymers, poly(acrylonitrile-co-1-vinylimidazole) and poly(acrylonitrile-co-N-vinylimidazole-co-methyl acrylate-co-acrylic acid), with the goal of enhancing their melt processability for their use as carbon fibers. The two polymers were meltextruded, but the as-spun filaments were brittle. Therefore, glycerol was mixed with the polymers to improve their spinnability and drawability. The addition of glycerol to the polyacrylonitrile copolymer and tetrapolymer reduced their melt viscosity, enhanced their melt spinnability, and improved their drawability. When 15 % (w/w) glycerol was added, the melt viscosity of the two polymers was reduced to below 1000 Pa·s at a shear rate of 100 s-1, and the tensile strength of the resulting filaments was high enough for them to be used as precursor filaments for carbon fibers. Furthermore, a draw ratio of over 5.5 was achieved for the melt spun filaments of mixtures of the copolymer and tetrapolymer with 15 % glycerol (w/w) ata temperature of 150 oC.
