2018~2021년 안면도에서 관측된 황사 (Asian dust)와 연무 (Haze)에 따른 에어로졸 물리, 광학 및 화학 특성 비교

We analyzed the characteristics of aerosol particles contained in Haze and Asian dust using physical, optical, and chemical properties observed in Anmyeon-do over four years (2018~2021). Asian dust and haze are classified by the mass concentration of PM<SUB>10</SUB> and PM<SUB>2.5</SUB>. A total of 28 Asian dust cases were observed with a PM<SUB>10</SUB> mass concentration of 105.8±120.0 μg/m³, which was about three times higher than the average during study periods. There were 138 haze days with a PM<SUB>2.5</SUB> mass concentration of 51.6±16.4 μg/m³. The scattering coefficient as an optical property of aerosols was 180.5±114.0 Mm<SUP>-1</SUP> for haze cases, which was about 1.7 times higher than Asian dust cases. The absorption coefficient was found to be 12.7±7.9 Mm<SUP>-1</SUP> and 9.3±6.7 Mm<SUP>-1</SUP> for haze and Asian dust cases, respectively. The scattering Ångström exponent was 1.46±0.32 (0.88±0.59) for haze (Asian dust), indicating the dominance of coarse particles in Asian dust. Meanwhile, Asian dust cases had a high proportion of soil-derived chemical components such as Al (23%), Fe (18%), and Ca (14%), while haze had the highest proportion of the anthropogenic component S (37%). Also, for the ionic composition analysis, haze cases had a high percentage of secondary aerosols such as NO₃- (42%), SO₄<SUP>2-</SUP> (32%), and NH₄+ (23%). The backward trajectory analysis using the HYSPLIT model revealed that the Asian dust was transported to Korea through the Gobi Desert, Inner Mongolia, and Manchuria in northwestern China, known as major sources of Asian dust. For haze, a relatively short trajectory originating from Balhae Bay was found, suggesting that the emitted air pollutants were not likely to spread rapidly but move slowly or stagnate, creating secondary aerosols and causing haze.

Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) have the ability to differentiate into multiple cell types. It has been reported that MSCs ameliorate functional deficits after transplantation into various neurologic disease models. In this study, to demonstrate the effect of human umbilical cord blood-derived MSCs(hUCB-MSCs) on stroke models, we transplanted the PKH-26 labeled hUCB-MSCs into the contralateral region of injured rat brain at 7 days after injury, and then examined the behavioral test, migration ability of transplanted hUCB-MSCs to injury site, and differentiation potentiality of transplanted hUCB-MSCs into neural cells. The results were: (1) a behavioral test(adhesive- removal and rotarod test) showed a significant improvement in the MSCs transplanted group as compared to the PBS injected group, (2) PKH-26 labeled MSCs were detected in the boundary zone of injured site at 4 weeks after transplantation, and (3) a few of transplanted MSCs exhibited a labeling for mature neural linage markers NeuN and GFAP. We suggest that hUCB-MSCs could be an effective cell source for treating ischemic brain injury.

Mycoplasma pneumoniae (M. pneumoniae) is a major cause of community acquired respiratory infections. And it also causes a num-ber of extrapulmonary manifestations including cardiovascular, dermatological, musculoskeletal, and hematological systems. But, acute hepatitis without lung involvement is rare in adults. Here, we report a case of 32-year-old man who presented with fever, chilling, myalgia, and headache. Biochemical analysis showed severely impaired liver function and leukopenia. Laboratory tests and liver biop-sy demonstrated a hepatocellular pattern of M. pneumoniae-associated acute hepatitis. Clinical symptoms and laboratory parame-ters are improved rapidly under treatment with macrolide. Therefore, We recommend that phsycians should consider a possibility of M. pneumoniae infection in acute hepatitis without lung and extrapulmonary involvement, when other more frequent causes have been excluded. Skin diseases vary in type and form from mild to severe diseases and depending on the severity, they are divided into malignant and benign skin diseases. The problem of classifying skin disease images has emerged as an important topic, such as the ISIC Challenge. One of the most important issues that determine performance in the classification of skin diseases through artificial intelligence is the data imbalance problem. In this paper, we propose ways to avoid the data imbalance problem by generating skin disease images through cDCGAN. The results of the experiment showed that the skin disease images generated by the proposed method had similarities with the actual disease images.
Extended Application of Endoscopic Repair for Frontal Sinus Fractures

Purpose: The coronal approach for repair of frontal sinus fractures is associated with significant adverse sequelae including a long scar, alopecia, paresthesias, and, uncommonly, facial nerve injury. To minimize these complications, an endoscopic approach for repair of frontal sinus fractures was developed. The authors now present the results of an endoscopy-assisted approach for the treatment of frontal sinus fractures. Methods: From 2002 to 2009, five patients with frontal sinus fracture underwent endoscopic repair. Two slit incisions were placed in the scalp, and one or two stab incisions directly over the fractures were placed in the forehead. After subperiosteal dissection, fracture segments were reduced under direct vision and fixed with microplates or fibrin glue. Results: All patients had good cosmetic results and remained free of sinus complaints. There were no perioperative complications reported. Conclusion: Endoscopic repair of frontal sinus fractures is an efficacious technique that significantly reduces patient morbidity. A relatively wide range of anterior table fractures can be reduced using an endoscope. In cases of complicated comminuted fractures, fibrin glue helps to achieve satisfactory endoscopic reduction. Endoscopic repair is an alternative treatment for various anterior table fractures of the frontal sinus.
공공기관을 위한 XML기반의 접근제어 모델에 관한 연구

국내 공공기관에서는 사이버 행정환경의 기밀성, 무결성, 신원확인, 부인방지등을 보장하기 위하여 행정전자서명인증체계(GPKI:Government Public Key Infrastructure)의 구축과 함께 모든 문서를 XML형태로 표준화하여 공공기관간의 문서를 통합하기 위한 시도를 하고 있다. 하지만 행정전자서명인증체계에서 사용하는 공개키기반(PKI)을 연동한 인증체계는 단순한 사용자 인증만을 제공하여, 공공기관의 응용업무 환경에서 요구되는 다양한 사용자의 직위, 직무, 역할정보 등의 관리가 어려우며 XML형태의 공공문서에 대한 상세한 접근제어를 지원하지 못하는 한계점이 있다. 이러한 한계점을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 공공기관에서 사용하는 인증 및 접근제어 시스템의 가상시나리오를 통하여 보안문제점을 도출하고 분석한 후에 이를 근거로 공공기관의 보안 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 보안기술인 PMI(Privilege Management Infrastructure)와 XACML(eXtensible Access Control Markup Language)을 연동한 접근제어모델을 제안하였다..
