      • LQG/LTR 기법을 이용한 불확실한 선형 시스템의 견실한 출력 되먹임 제어기의 설계

        In this paper, a controller design method for uncertain linear systems by output feedback is proposed. This method utilizes the LQG/LTR procedure for systems with uncertainties described in the time domain. It is assumed that the uncertainties satisfy the matching conditions and their bounds are known. First, a robust state feedback controller design method is introduced. Then, it is asymtotically recovered for the output feedback system by the loop transfer recovery(LTR) method under a certain condition.

        간암 세포주 및 위암 세포주에서 Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug Activated Gene (NAG-1)의 기능 연구

        Background : Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug activated gene (NAG-1) has proapoptotic activities in the colon and also in gastric cancer cells that lack any endogenous COX-2 expression. Recent studies have suggested that the proa- poptotic activity of NAG-1 is cell type specific. I investigated the cell proliferation, invasiveness and apoptosis in Hep3B cells and SNU719 cells by determining the different expression levels of NAG-1. In addition, I examined the gene profile in the Hep3B cells that have a stable expression of NAG-1. Methods : SNU719 cells and several clones of Hep3B cells with a stable expression of NAG-1 were used. I reduced the expression level of NAG-1 via the RNAi method. An Agilent Human 22k microarray was used for studying the gene profile in Hep3B cells that had a stable expression of NAG-1. Results : The expression level of NAG-1 did not influence apoptosis, cell proliferation and invasiveness in Hep3B cells. There was no correlation between the reduction of the endogenous NAG-1 expression and cell proliferation, including invasiveness, in the SNU719 cells. However, a knocked-down NAG-1 expression protected against apoptosis in the SNU719 cells. The microarray analysis results showed that 0.25% (58/22,575) of the genes were induced or repressed more than three fold in the Hep3B cells that had a stable expression of NAG-1. Conclusions : Proapoptotic activity of NAG-1 is found in gastric cancer cells, but not in hepatocellular cancer cells.

        계획된 행위이론에 근거한 대사증후군을 진단받은 대상자의 건강행위설명모형

        Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors explaining the performance of health behaviors among adults withmetabolic syndrome based on the theory of planned behavior. Methods: A total of 218 adults with metabolic syndromewere recruited for the study from September to December, 2017. Data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 22.0and AMOS 24.0. Results: The hypothetical model appeared to fit the data with x2/df=2.65, SRMR (StandardizedRoot Mean Residual)=.07, PNFI (Parsimonious Normed Fit Index)=.67. Attitude toward health behavior, subjectivenorm and perceived behavioral control explained 32.3% of variance in intention toward health behavior. Perceivedbehavioral control showed significant direct effects and mediating effect through intention on health behavior (γ=.57,t=5.85). Family support also had significant direct effects on health behavior (γ=.38, t=4.75). Attitude toward healthbehavior, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and family support were the significant factors explaining56.3% of variance in the performance of health behaviors among patients with metabolic syndrome. Conclusion:Health promotion programs for behavioral modification in this population should focus on these factors to lead tobetter health outcomes. Further studies are warranted to test the health promotion strategies based on theory ofplanned behavior for long-term change toward a healthy lifestyle among individuals with metabolic syndrome.

        The Expression of Pigment Epithelium-Derived Factor in Bladder Transitional Cell Carcinoma

        Background: Pigment epithelium-derived factor (PEDF) is an anti-angiogenic factor. The purpose of this study is to examine the involvement of PEDF in the angiogenesis and biological behavior of bladder transitional cell carcinoma (TCC). Methods: We examined the expression of PEDF in 99 bladder TCCs and ten non-neoplastic tissues, and evaluated microvessel density (MVD). Results: The positive immunoreactivity for PEDF was seen in normal urothelium in 60% (6/10) and TCC in 13% (13/99). The PEDF expression had a significant correlation with MVD, i.e., a low MVD in 42% (5/12), a middle MVD in 11% (8/76) and a high MVD 0% (0/11) of tumors. The PEDF expression was not significantly correlated with the differentiation and invasion of TCC, but the degree of MVD was significantly higher in both high grade TCC and the pT2 tumors. Conclusions: The degree of PEDF expression is significantly higher in normal bladder urothelium than bladder TCC; it is inversely correlated with the angiogenesis; and it is not related to the differentiation and progression of TCC. It can therefore be concluded that bladder TCC would initially occur if there is a lack of the PEDF expression.

        대사증후군 유형에 따른 건강행위 비교

        본 연구는 대사증후군을 진단받은 대상자가 가지고 있는 진단지표와 건강행위간의 관련성을 파악함으로써 대사 증후군 예방과 증진을 위한 근거자료를 제공하기 위해 시행되었다. 연구대상은 2017년 7월부터 2018년 7월까지 대전 지역 1개 대학병원과 4개의 보건소에 방문한 성인 633명이었으며, 분석방법은 SPSS/WIN 22.0 program으로 독립 t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson’s Correlation 을 실시하였다. 연구결과 본 연구의 대상자는 연령, 종교유무, 교육수준, 진단지표의 수에 따라 건강행위의 차이를 보였다. 고혈당을 기준으로 대사증후군 유형을 구분했을 때, 진단유 형에 따라 건강행위 중 스트레스 관리에 차이를 보였고, 고혈당이 있는 그룹에서 고지질혈증이 건강행위와 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 대사증후군 증진을 위해 건강중재프로그램을 제공할 때 이러한 요인 들을 고려하여 중재프로그램을 제공하는 것이 필요하다. This study conducted to provide the evidence to prevent and promote Metabolic Syndrome by figuring out the relationship between diagnostic indicators and health behavior of participants with Metabolic Syndrome. The subject included 633 participants who visited to university medical center or public health center in Daejeon from July 2017 to July 2018 for regular check-up. The data were analyzed using independent t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson’s correlation coefficients by SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. As a result, 633 participants showed the differences in health behaviors according to age, religion, level of education, and the number of diagnostic indicators. By types of metabolic syndrome based on “hyperglycemia”, there was a difference in stress management between groups. Moreover, in the group with hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia was associated with stress management among health behaviors. Therefore, it is necessary to provide an interventional program that include these factors to improve Metabolic Syndrome.

        CD10 Is Again Expressed at a Certain Stage during the Neoplastic Process of Bladder Transitional Cell Carcinomas

        Purpose CD10, a membrane-bound zinc-dependent metallopeptidase, is normally expressed in many tissues. Accordingly, the derangement of CD10 expression may be related to development or progression in a variety of tumors. The aim of this study is to examine any association between CD10 expression and clinicopathological parameters in bladder transitional cell carcinomas (TCCs) and the relationship between expression of E-cadherin and CD10. Materials and Methods Immunohistochemical staining was performed for CD10 and E-cadherin in tissues of 94TCCs and 10 non-neoplastic bladder mucosa. Results Positive immunoreactivity for CD10 was observed in non-neoplastic urothelium at a proportion of 80% and TCCs were observed at a rate of 23%. A positive rate of CD10expression was observed in 10% of total cases of a low grade tumor and in 35% of those of a high grade tumor. It was also observed in 15% of pTa tumors, 13% of pT1 tumors, and 48%of pT2 tumors. In addition, CD10 expression showed reciprocal correlation with expression of membranous E-cadherin in tumors. Conclusion CD10 is again expressed at a certain stage during the neoplastic process of TCCs and could play some roles intheir carcinogenesis.

        The Expression of CD10 and CD15 Is Progressively Increased during Colorectal Cancer Development

        Background: The aim of this study was to examine the expression of CD10 and CD15 in tumor cells, stromal cells and infiltrating inflammatory cells during colorectal carcinoma (CRC) development and to investigate their expression levels between the tumor center and invasive front and compare them to clinicopathological parameters in invasive CRC. Methods: We performed immunohistochemical staining for CD10, CD15, and E-cadherin in 42 cases of CRC, 49 of tubular adenoma, 15 of hyperplastic polyp, and 17 of non-neoplastic colon. Results: CD10 was expressed in tumor cells (tCD10), stromal cells (sCD10) and infiltrating inflammatory cells (iCD10), and CD15 was expressed in tumor cells (tCD15) and infiltrating inflammatory cells (iCD15). Their expressions were progressively increased during CRC development and the iCD10 expression level was significantly correlated with the iCD15 expression level in invasive CRC. Invasive front revealed a higher expression level of iCD10 and iCD15 than the tumor center. Moreover, the iCD15 expression level of invasive front was significantly correlated with the degree of tumor budding and tCD15 in whole tissue sections was closely associated with tumor depth. Conclusions: The present study suggests that the expression of CD10 and CD15 is associated with the development and progression of CRC.

        Lethal Giant Larvae2 Expression Is Reduced or Localized at Cytoplasm in Colon Adenomas and Adenocarcinomas

        Background : The Scribble, Par and Crumbs polarity modules are essential for establishing and maintaining apicobasal cell polarity in epithelial cells. The aim of the present study was to investigate the expression pattern of Lethal giant larvae2 (Lgl2) in normal colonic epithelium and epithelial tumors and to examine the relationship between Lgl2 expression and clinicopathological parameters. Methods : We examined Lgl2 expression in 66 primary colon cancers and 20 adenomas by immunohistochemistry. Results : In normal colonic epithelium, Lgl2 was strongly expressed at the basolateral membrane of cells in the luminal surface but was not expressed at the base of crypts. The expression pattern of E-cadherin in normal epithelium was similar to that of Lgl2. In contrast, tumors did not express Lgl2 or showed diffuse cytoplasmic staining. The Lgl2 positive rate in tumors was significantly lower than in normal epithelium, and its negative rate in tumors was higher in tumors with abnormal E-cadherin expression than in tumors with positive membranous staining. Lgl2 staining intensity was significantly lower in tumor budding sites than in tumor centers. No significant differences were observed between Lgl2 and clinicopathological parameters. Conclusions : Lgl2 expression was reduced or localized at the cytoplasm in colon epithelial tumors, suggesting that a perturbation of Lgl2 expression frequently occurs in colon epithelial tumors.
