A lot of research is being done on metal materials to improve the lifespan of molded parts. As a result, excellent mold materials have been developed that withstand high hardness at high temperatures and frictional heat generated from high-speed cutting. In this study, the press mold life of powder high-speed tool steel and general high-speed tool steel was compared. Powdered high-speed steel is composed of alloying elements such as tungsten, maldividene, cobalt, chromium, and vanadium in steel, which improves wear resistance compared to high-hardness and high-speed tool steels. The mold parts of both steel types were manufactured in the same way from heat treatment to machining, and the powder high-speed tool steel was 66HRC and the high-speed tool steel was 61HRC. As a result of the experiment, it was observed that the number of punching of powder high-speed tool steel was improved by 40-50%, and powder high-speed tool steel had fewer impurities, uniform texture, and excellent surface structure. It has a microscopic structure.
Mixed Error Compensation in a Heterodyne Interferometer Using the Iterated Dual-EKF Algorithm

The heterodyne laser interferometer has been widely used in the field of precise measurements. The limited measurement accuracy of a heterodyne laser interferometer arises from the periodic nonlinearity caused by non-ideal laser sources and imperfect optical components. In this paper, the iterated dual-EKF algorithm is used to compensate for the error caused by nonlinearity and external noise. With the iterated dual-EKF algorithm, the weight filter estimates the parameter uncertainties in the state equation caused by nonlinearity errors and has a high convergence rate of weight values due to the iteration process. To verify the performance of the proposed compensation algorithm, we present experimental results obtained by using the iterated dual-EKF algorithm and compare them with the results obtained by using a capacitance displacement sensor.
스마트 운영 모드를 활용한 농업용 방제 드론의 특성 분석에 관한 실험적 검증

The utilization of agricultural drones for pest control operations has been increasing due to its economic efficiency. However, variations in the effectiveness of these operations occur depending on the operator's proficiency. In this study, we applied a smart operating mode to overcome the limitations of manual flight mode and proposed a numerical model. Through comparative validation with prior research, we conducted experimental verification. As a result, we determined the spray time and calculation of spray area for each drone model. We selected a drone for pest control with a high similarity to the numerical model and verified it experimentally. Through this, we confirmed that the application of the smart operating mode is more effective in terms of calculation of spray area and operational efficiency compared to manual flight mode.
Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF)-a로 유도된 피부각질형성세포의 염증성 반응에서 봉독의 효과

Bee venom (BV) therapy has been used as a traditional medicine to treat a variety of conditions, such as arthritis, back pain, cancerous tumors, and skin diseases. However, regulatory effects of BV on tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-a-induced HaCaT cell migration or anti-inflammatory have not been explored. In the present study, we investigated the effects of BV on HaCaT cell migration and anti-inflammation. HaCaT cell migration was evaluated by wound-healing assay. The pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-a, interleukin (IL)-1b, and IL-8 were examined by ELISA or Western blotting. BV treatment led to an increase in migration of HaCaT cells for 24 and 48 h. Especially, 10 ng/ml of BV were significantly increased HaCaT cell migration. Also, BV suppressed the secretion of TNF-a, IL-1b, and IL-8 in culture medium with HaCaT cells. In addition, Western blot results demonstrate that BV suppressed the expression of TNF-a and IL-1b, in HaCaT cells. Especially, 1 or 10 ng/ml of BV markedly decreased the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines. These results demonstrate the potential of BV for the prevention of skin inflammation induced by TNF-a

농업용 드론은 경제적 효율성으로 인해 활용도가 점차 증가하고 있으며, 비행을 담당하는 본체와 약제를 방제 대상까지 전달하는 임무를 담당하는 분무 시스템으로 구성되어 있다. 따라서 드론을 활용한 농약 방제 작업 시 농작물에 대한 환경과 특성이 고려되어야 하며, 이에 따른 체계화된 비행 고도, 속도 및 분사 시간 등 조건이 달라져야 한다. 농업용 드론을 이용한 방제 작업은 조종자의 운용에 의존하고 있으며, 운용 숙련도에 따라 살포 효과 및 영향에 차이가 발생한다. 또한 농업용 드론에 관해 운용 기준 및 방제 효율 등의 편차가 발생하여 방제 작업 분야에서 농업용 방제 드론의 보급을 저해하는 요소로 작용하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 농업용 드론의 살포 특성을 파악하여 유효 살포 시간 및 간격을 적용하고, 선행 연구와 비교하여 방제면적 산출이 가능한 체계를 실험적으로 검증하려 한다. 이러한 실험적 검증을 통해 농업용 드론에 운용 방식 및 체계화된 수치를 적용하여, 방제 작업의 저해요인을 최소화하여 최적의 방제 공정을 적용하고자 한다.

In this paper, we present a face detection algorithm which uses the features of color and Geometry of faces and hairs appeared in images. after candidate area detection using color features, background areas are removed by the deviation of luminance in each of candidate areas. And then, final face area is detected using feature of geometry between face and hair. Performance of the presented algorithm is evaluated by detection rate test. The test result showed high detection rate. 본 논문에서는 영상내의 얼굴과 헤어의 컬러와 기하학적 특징을 이용하는 얼굴 검출 알고리즘을 제안한다. 컬러 특성을 이용하여 얼굴과 헤어의 후보영역을 검출 한 후, 이 영역들의 조도에 대한 편차를 이용하여 배경 영역을 제거한다. 그리고 얼굴과 헤어가 인접하는 기하학적 특징을 이용하여 여러 후보영역 중 실제 얼굴영역을 검출한다. 제안한 알고리즘 성능은 실험 영상에 대한 얼굴의 검출률 실험을 통하여 평가되었으며, 실험결과 높은 검출률을 보였다.
