The author has condcted an experiment on the flowability of phenol resin produces by two-stage process of wood power using an extrusing-through-smallorifice tipe viscometer according to the principle of the KOKA flow-tester, and obtained the plunger displacement va. time relation with regard to the flowability of un-prerdied, completely dried, and intermediate materials. The moulding compound has first showed the minium melting viscosity as the temperature rises and ceased to flow as the setting reaction proceeds, and the fall of the melting viscosity due to contained moisture and its influence on the viscosity has been boty significant.The amount of moisture causes an increase of the flow in all cases regardless of time and temperature, the water in this case playing the role oa a lubrican to heighten its flowability. The fact that the total weight of the flow at 180℃ stood less than that at 160℃ is interpreted as the flow-time curve being the combined one of the falling viscosity due to temprature rise and the rise of viscosity due to setting reaction. It is indicated that relation between the preheat of the metal mould and flowability in the shaping process need be strictly adjusted by means of the timing of the stop of the mould and that the rational shaping can be expected only through the adaptation of temperature rise in the mould to the timing of the application of pressure.
P-nitrobenzyl m-nitrobenzenesufonate와 置換 Dimethylaniline 類와의 反應에 關한 反應速度論的 硏究

p-nitrobenzyl m-nitrobenzenesulfonate와 Dimethylaniline類와의 反應速度를 아세톤 溶媒에서 電氣傳導法으로 測定하였다. 벤질에스테르와 디메틸아니린과의 反應에 關한 ??基效果를 檢討하였다. 디메틸아니린에서 電子를 미는 ??基는 反應速度가 빨랐으며 ?H와 ?S 間에는 等速關係가 成立되었다. log k와 Hammette의 δ값을 圖示해본結果 좋은 直線이 얻어졌으며 ρ값은 陰의 값이였다. 以上의 結果로서 本反凝은 전이상태에서 C...N結合이 律速?階인 典型的 Sn2反凝임을 알 수있다. The kinetics of the reaction of p-nitrobenzy1 m-nitrobenzene'sulfonate with Dimethylanilines in acetone were determined by an electric conductivity method. The effects of substituents on the reuetion of this ester with dimethylanilines were discussed. The rates of reaction were increased with electron donating power of substitiuents of dimethzlanines. The isokinetic relationship was shown between Ea and ??. According to a plot of log k against Hammett substituent constants, the linearity was good and negative stope. From the above results, this reaction was found a typical Sn 2 reaction which the rates of reaction was determined by C...N bond formation at fransition state.

Epoxy-resin was used as an adhesive for the first time in 1930, when Mr. P. Schiuck got his patent for the invention. Its joining excellence has been recognized with interest since then, and it has occupied the premier position in joining or fixing even surfaces of solids. Its joining excellence has created a big demand for the product, and it is worthy of notice that epoxy-resin in the latest style has appeared through remarkable and better researches. To improve sufficient antifouling properties, zwitterionic materials have been proposed as new generation materials to inhibit protein adsorption and formation of biofilm. Moreover, many studies have demonstrated that fluorinated materials have antifouling and antimicrobial effects. Here, we designed novel zwitterionic and tetrafluorinated polyurethane (ZFPU) additives to confer anti-fouling and anti-thrombotiic effects and blended these with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). 1HNMR and FTIR analyses showed that the zwitterionic groups and fluorinated groups were successfully introduced onto the ZFPU backbone. We also investigated the protein adsorption, platelet adhesion and wettability of additives-blended PVC films. Our results demonstrated that the ZFPU additives-blended PVC surfaces significantly suppressed protein adsorption and platelet adhesion than those of pristine PVC surface.

The silver salts were conveniently prepared by addition of a slight excess of silver oxide to an acetonitrile solution of the sulfonic acid. Evaporation of the solvent gave the silver salts in excellent yield and purity. Some benzyl arene sulfonate were prepared by the reaction of silver arenesulfonates with benzylbromide. Identified by elemental analysis and discussed physical properties, e.g. stabilities of benzylarenesulfonates. The resalts of that properties were decreased this order p-NO₂=m-NO₂>p-Br>H>p-Me>p-MeO.
