        알쯔하이머병 환자 림프구의 세포생존율, 세포증식률 변화

        Objectives : There are evidences of apoptotic neuronal cell death in Alzheimer's disease (AD). Recent studies suggested AD pathogenesis in the central nervous system as well as in peripheral lymphocytes. The object of this study is to compare the cell viability and the proliferation activity in AD patients with healthy normal control by using peripheral lymphocytes. Methods : We analyzed the cell viability and the proliferation activity of phytohemagglutinin (PHA) -activated lymphocytes from 73 AD patients and 31 normal contols. The cell viability and the proliferation activity were measured at baseline (TO), 24 hours (T24), 48 hours (T48), 72 hours (T72), 96 hours (T96), by the tryphan blue method and the BrdU proliferation activity method, respectively. Results : The cell viability of PHA-activated peripheral lymphocytes in AD patients was significantly decreased at T72, T96 compared with healthy controls (F=8.034, p<0.001). In AD patients, the decline of proliferation activity appeared in earlier than healthy normal controls. Conclusion : This study suggests that there is a decreased cell viability and the proliferation activity of peripheral lymphocytes in AD patients. These finding may be related with the increased apoptosis in Alzheimer's disease.

        한국어 문장 감성 추출 정확도 향상을 위한 BIO 태깅과 Triplet 방법론 연구

        Thanks to the development of artificial intelligence technology, research in the field of communication between humans and computers has been vitalized, showing tangible results. Research on the processes in which a computer understands and translates human speech and generates and responds to a sentence, based on analysis and reasoning about it is still being actively conducted. However, in this process, the representative feature that the computer has not yet completely extracted from human language is the sentiment. The sentiments, contained in human language are expressed in all areas of society and used in various ways. For example, the author of an academic thesis expresses his own theories or his claims about existing theories with positive or negative sentiment in the text. We are actively expressing our sentiments on social media that we face and participate in in our daily lives, and influence economic activity through positive or negative evaluations of purchased products. In this respect, automatic extraction of human text sentiments is a very important research field, and it is a major technology that can create economic utility as a new business model and attracts attention as a new industrial field. In general, the sentiment contained in a sentence in the speech act performed by humans can be divided into positive, negative, and neutral. In this paper, we will study the triplet extraction method, which is newly introduced in the process of developing the technology to automatically extract the above three speaker sentiments in the sentence, and BIO tagging as a basic labeling technique for this. To this end, in this paper, we will analyze the triplet-related research results announced in 2020 and 2021 in depth, track their strengths and weaknesses, and apply them to the new triplet method we are developing. Our company has researched and developed Triplet that automatically extracts the emotion of a sentence based on Korean data. As shown in <Figure 11>, the head office built and tested the Triplets for the Hangul data predicted by the GTS model trained with the Multilingual Bert model. The accuracy of Aspect and Opinion terms is 0.7 and 0.6, respectively, which is not a very high score, but it is judged that the accuracy will increase with additional data acquisition and update. The triplet accuracy is 0.3, which is still a low score. It is speculated that the reason why the triplet accuracy is low is because the training was conducted with the ‘Multilingual’ model rather than the Hangul-specific model. Therefore, we plan to train with a Korean-specific model by building a Korean training data set, and it is expected to show high accuracy soon in the future.

        소아 원형탈모증의 치료 후 동일 한약으로 재치료 증례 보고

        Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report a case of a child with alopecia areata who was reintroduced with the same herbal treatment that was used before. Methods: The patient was treated for 11 months with the herbal medicine. After a relapse, this patient took the same herbal medicine for another 2 months. Results: After the treatment, the patient's hair loss and hair conditions were improved. After a relapse, alopecia areata was resolved by reintroducing the same herbal medicine treatment, and the condition was maintained well for several months even after the end of the treatment. Conclusion: This study shows the effects of the herbal medicine for alopecia areata in a child. However, further studies are needed, including long-term follow-up studies after the end of the treatment.

        A Study on the Serious game for Improving Cognitive Function

        With the recent growing interest in educational use of functional games, many studies have been conducted on the educational effectiveness of games. In this paper, we have developed "Bau-Bau-Friends," a functional game for improving cognitive function. This content covers Executive function, Sustained attention and Divided attention of cognitive functions. To prove the usefulness of the game developed in this study, we conducted an EEG experiment and compared and analyzed brain waves before and during the game. As a result, continuous attention games (Simon) and separate attention games (Cooking) have positive effects on cognitive improvement. Further EEG experiments with children will need to be carried out in the future for clearer validation of child cognitive improvements.

        주의력결핍 과잉행동장애 환아들의 인지 행동적 특성과 정량 뇌파와의 관계 : 후향적 단면 연구

        Objective This study examined the association between the wave form in quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG) and the cognitive and behavioral characteristics measured by the Korean version of Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children 4th edition (K-WISC-IV), Korean version of the attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder Rating Scale (K-ARS), and Korean version of Child Behavior Checklist (K-CBCL) in children diagnosed with ADHD. Method A retrospective cross-sectional study was performed on children aged 8 to 13 years, who were diagnosed with ADHD at Samsung Medical Center from November 2011 to March 2017. A total of 57 ADHD children were selected by a medical chart review. Their QEEG findings and psychological test results, including K-WISC-IV, K-CBCL, and K-ARS (n=42), were collected. The QEEG was analyzed by the ranges of Hz: delta (1 - 4 Hz), theta (4 - 8 Hz), alpha (8 - 12 Hz), and beta (12 - 25 Hz) and transformed to the z-scored relative power. The collected data were analyzed using Pearson and Partial correlation analysis. Results The Letter-Number Sequencing scores of K-WISC was positively correlated with fronto- central alpha. The hyperactivity/impulsivity scores of K-ARS were positively correlated with the theta/beta ratio. Among the items of K-CBCL, social immaturity was positively correlated with delta and theta, and negatively correlated with alpha. Social competence was negatively correlated delta and theta, and positively correlated with alpha. Conclusion These results suggest that the resting state QEEG results of children with ADHD may reflect their cognitive and behavioral characteristics, especially in working memory/executive function, hyperactivity/impulsivity, and sociality.
