Purpose: The prognosis of operated early gastric cancer is quite excellent and the 5-year survival rate shows to be over $90\%$. The less extensive treatment has been considered to be attractive. However, lymph node metastasis remains a main risk factor for recurrence of early gastric cancer. The author performed this study in order to determine which clinicopathologic factors of early gastric cancer influence lymph node metastasis and recurrence. Materials and Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 222 patients with early gastric cancer who had been treated by gastrectomy combined with D2 or more extended lymph node dissection between January 1991 and December 1997 at the Department of Surgery, Kyunghee University Hospital. Results: Lymph node metastasis was observed in 26 patients ($11.7\%$), and the depth of tumor invasion and tumor size among clinicopathologic factors affected lymph node metastasis. The 5-year recurrence rate was $4.4\%$, and it was revealed that lymph node metastasis and depth of tumor invasion had a greater effect on recurrence than other clinicopathologic factors. Conclusion: The high risk factors of early gastric cancer in recurrence were submucosal tumor invasion, tumor size more than 2 cm, and lymph node metastasis. Patients of early gastric cancer with such high risk factors should undergo radical gastric resection than limited surgery. (J Korean Gastric Cancer Assoc 2001;1:119-123)
동의보감(東醫寶鑑) 요통분류(腰痛分類)에 따른 십종요통(十種腰痛)의 침구치료(針灸治療)에 대(對)한 문헌연구(文獻硏究)

The Object of this study is as follows. we classify lumbago into ten kinds as mentioned in DongUiBoGam(東醫寶鑑), and are going to present each acupunture & moxibustion treatment. For the purpose of looking for each treatment, we referred to a large number of literature for lumbago treatment from ancient to modern. As a result of survey the references, we found out that lumbago due to kidney deficiency(腎虛腰痛) and lumbago due to cold-damp(寒濕腰痛) are more mentioned in many references than any other kinds, and that ten kinds of lumbago have each treatment. above all, In treatment of lumbago due to kidney deficiency(腎虛腰痛) bladder meridian, governor vessel meridian, kidney meridian and general points such as BL23, KI3, BL40, GV4, BL52 are used much in turn. also in treatment of lumbago due to cold-damp(寒濕腰痛) bladder meridian, governor vessel meridian, gallbladder meridian and general points such as BL23, BL40, GV3, GV4, SP9, GB30, Ah-Shi' points(阿是穴), BL25 are used much in turn. We conclude that ten kinds of lumbago have each different acupunture & moxibustion points and treatments, so if we follow each treatment we might obtain more higher rate of the treatment of lumbago.

A low-Reynolds-number second moment turbulence closure is improved with the aid of DNS data. For the model coefficients of pressure-strain terms, we adopted Shima's model with some modification. Shin and Choi's new dissipation-rate equation is employed to simulate accurately the turbulence energy dissipation rate distribution in the near wall sublayer. The results of computations are compared with DNS, LES data and experimental data for turbulent plane channel flow with rotation about spanwise axis. The present second moment closure achieves a level of agreement similar to that for the non-rotating. In particular, it accurately captures the distribution of turbulence energy dissipation rate in the near wall region.
족삼음경(足三陰經) 형혈(滎穴) 자침(刺鍼)이 흉복부(胸腹部)의 체열변화(體熱變化)에 미치는 영향(影響)

Objectives: This study was examined for effects of acupuncture of Hyeong points` Acupuncture of Three Foot-eum Collaterals on the abdominal thermography of health subject. Methods: The volunteers who participating in this study had taken rest for 20-30 minutes in room temperature (23-25℃) before the examination and informed them what to prohibit smoking, drinking and administration of drug for the previous day. The thermography of abdomen including a below part of the chest was taken using Infra-Red Imaging System (IR 2000, MEDI-CORE Co., Korea) by time interval of 15 minutes at 15 minutes before, just before and 15 minutes after, 30 minutes after and 45 minutes after acupuncture stimulation. Acupuncture was applied to the left Hyeong points` Acupuncture of Three Foot-eum Collaterals for 30 minutes. Results: The results showed that acupuncture of Hyeong points had more potencies of changes on all the ROIs of abdominal thermography than those of control group. Also, it was observed that the quantities of thermal changes following acupuncture of Hyeong points been increased comparing that of control group at all the ROIs (region of interest). Observed the thermography classified by ROI, however, it was failed that acupuncture of Hyeong points could modulate the specific areas concerning to the abdominal pathway of Three Foot-eum Collaterals. Conclusions: These results suggest that acupuncture of Hyeong points may modulate thermal distributions and changes of abdominal areas including the below of chest.

타원 방정식을 사용하는 2차모멘트 모형에 의한 성층된 난류 평판유동의 예측

This work is to extend the elliptic operator, which has been already adopted in turbulent stress model, to fully developed turbulent buoyant channel flows with changing the orientation of the buoyancy vector to be perpendicular to the channel walls. The turbulent heat flux models based on the elliptic concept are employed and closely linked to the elliptic blending second moment closure which is used for the prediction of Reynolds stresses. In order to reflect the stable or unstable stratification conditions, the present model introduces the gradient Richardson number into the thermal to mechanical time scale ratio and model coefficients. The present model has been applied for the computation of stably and unstably stratified turbulent channel flows and the prediction results are directly compared to the DNS data.

In this study, we conducted field surveys to investigate and analyze species and length composition of catch from gape net with wings being set in two areas - Masari, Supomri - located in southern part of Jin-do for understanding fishing characteristics of gape net with wings fishery from March to September of 2011. And with those results, we attempted to propose fishery management strategy to harvest fisheries resources continuously. Catch obtained from field surveys comprised total 78 species, which accounted for 53 species of fish, 20 species of crustacean, 4 species of cephalopod and one of polychaete. As to species composition in weight, it showed that there was 88.5% for pisces, 9.0% for cephalopoda and 2.5% for crustacea. As to catch specifics by area, there was 36 species (596,891 individual, 456,551g) of pisces, 17 species (35,815 individual, 12,909g) of crustacea and 3 species (2,876 individual, 3,004g) of cephalopoda in Masari area. In Supumri area, there was 41 species (396,898 individual, 281,457g) of pisces, 15 species (16,113 individual, 7,772g) of crustacea and 4 species (6,792 individual, 72,329g) of cephalopoda and one polychaeta (36 individual, 11g). Catch of anchovy by month recorded on high level on June, July, September in both areas. When considering size composition by month, it was found that new populations recruit to these fishing grounds on June and September. Most of bycatch species including hairtail (Trichiurus lepturus), dotted gizzard shad (Konosirus punctatus), conger eel (Leptocephalous), Pacific sandlance (Ammodytes personatus), horse mackerel (Trachurus japonicus) were juvenile, and grass puffer (Takifugu niphobles), Kammal thryssa (Thryssa kammalensis), Japanese sardinella (Sardinella zunasi) were also small in size. As a result, it is considered that gape net with wings fishery which is likely to catch juvenile needs to be set fishing prohibit period for conserving above stocks during the period excluding main fishing periods of anchovy or fisheries management such as expanding mesh size for preventing juvenile catch.

The paper describes further developments of a near-wall Reynolds stress turbulence closure of<br/> Manceau and Hanjalic (2002), and its application to spanwise rotating flow. To improve the model,<br/> called the elliptic blending model, an inhomogeneity correction is subjected to the near wall<br/> redistribution term. Also, another approach to the near wall redistribution model is attempted for<br/> general complex geometries, which is frequently appeared in industrial applications. The present model<br/> is tested by direct comparisons with the DNS data to validate the performance of the model predictions.
