Dimethyl-ether(DME) is one of the most promising alternative fuels for IC engines. In this study, the compression ignition combustion fueled with dimethyl-ether was investigated. Three-point split injection strategy was applied and evaluated its availability and performance in terms of emission, fuel economy and power. Experiments were carried out in 4-cylinder 2.9 liter direct-injection diesel engine equipped with common-rail injection system, and the engine performance and emission characteristics were tested the various pre and pilot injection timings and quantities. Experiments were performed under the engine condition ranging from 1200rpm, 2bar to 3000rpm,4 bar. From the results of this study, three-point split injection strategy showed the possibility to overcome the disadvantages of DME engine such as high NOx and HC emissions due to long injection duration for attaining diesel equilibrium performance. By optimizing pre and pilot injection timing and quantities NOx emission could be reduced by maximum 74% for low speed and load conditions. Additional NOx reduction of maximum 40% could be obtain by retarding main injection timing. Torque could be improved by reducing injection dwell timing between pilot and main injection. In the range of medium and high load and speed conditions, main injection timing was retarded for reducing NOx emission with sacrificing torque.

Synthetic gas reformed from hydrocarbon-based fuel consists of H₂, CO and N₂. Hydrogen contained in synthetic gas is very useful species in chemical process, due to wide flammability range and fast burning speed. The ESGI(Exhaust Synthetic Gas Injection) is used to shorten a light-off time of a three-way catalyst through combustion of synthetic gas injected in exhaust manifold during a cold start period of an SI engine. When injection pressure of synthetic gas is increased, exhaust gas temperature rises due to increment of total heat. However, total CO emitted in the vehicle is increased, because synthetic gas has its own CO, and fuel consumption is also deteriorated. If injection pressure of synthetic gas is excessively increased, exhaust gas temperature will decrease due to increment of inert gas and heat capacity under low O₂ concentration condition for combustion of synthetic gas. Also efficiency of THC reduction ought to be considered for various injection pressures of synthetic gas because it is greatly affected by exhaust gas temperature. In this study, injection pressure of synthetic gas was precisely varied to optimize injection pressure in terms of exhaust gas temperature, harmful emissions and fuel consumption. Experimental results showed that the optimized injection pressure is 1.5 bar.

Fashion companies are faced with more severe competition with the emergence of new types of retail formats. Retailers are coming up with new shopping values to maximize their profits and benefits of customers. The aim of this study was to study shopping values and analyze differences in store selection criteria and store visits among. The respondents were males and females with ages ranging from the 20`s to the 40`s, residing in Seoul and the Gyeonggi area. Data were collected via both online and offline. Data from 427 respondents were analyzed using SPSS 17.0. Results indicated that there were three categories including hedonic, informative, and reliable shopping values from the factors for clothing shopping values. They form three types of consumer groups such as active, passive-reliable, and hedonic-informative shopping value groups. These three groups were different in terms of demographic characteristics. For the factor influencing store preference, the range of product selection and customer service were the two significant features that showed substantial differences in the shopping value groups store`s atmosphere, salespeople, convenient location, price, and brand store did not have significant differences across groups. Retailers of each fashion retail formats have to consider consumers shopping values for their retail decision makings.

Retailers deploy new shopping value-additions to induce customers 10 shop more, thus driving compulsive buying tendencies, which lead to increased profits for them. Customers display their ambivalence in purchasing a product either through instantaneous consumption, such as when following the latest fashion trends, or methodical decision making. The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of consumers` ambivalent attitudes toward various aspects (brand, store, price, trends, and product types) of clothing shopping on compulsive behavior tendencies. Compulsive buying tendencies were analyzed in terms of the shopping value group and demographic characteristics. For the empirical research, a questionnaire was used. Data from male and female clothing shoppers were analyzed. Consumers were segmented into ambivalent consumption group, emotional value consumption group, rationality consumption group, and indifference consumption group. Results indicate that ambivalent consumption groups showed significantly higher levels of compulsive behavior tendencies in terms of brand, store, price, trends, and product types than other groups. Females showed more compulsive buying tendencies than males. Single people showed more compulsive buying tendencies than married.

기업의 데이터베이스 규모는 계속 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 이런 대량의 데이터베이스에서 유용한 정보를 얻는 데이터마이닝은 다양한 예측기법이나 차이점의 분석을 통하여 매출의 증대나, 비용 절감 등의 효과를 줄 수 있다. 분석방법에는 정보의 다양한 분류기법 또한 다양한 각도나 영역의 관점을 통하여 분석할 수 있다. 연관규칙과 패턴의 분석은 대량의 데이터베이스에서 유용한 정보를 효과적으로 분석할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 쇼핑몰의 상품을 데이터마이닝 분석 기법중의 하나인 연관규칙을 활용하여 분석하였다. 이를 통하여 기존상품 분류 및 분석에 따른 고객의 구매패턴을 분석하고, 전략적 마케팅 수립을 통해 접근할 수 있는 데이터마이닝 분석에 관한 사례를 연구하였다. It is growing in size of database in companies. This caused to develope data mining techniques to predictive information from the large database. Costs and other effects can give variety of sales exploding through the analysis of the differences. Analysis of the various classification techniques, various angle can be analyzed point of view of the area information. The analysis of rules and patterns associated with a large amount of useful information from the database can be analyzed effectively. Goods store were analyzed using association rules, one of the data mining analysis techniques. Through this type of existing products according to analyze customer buying patterns, data mining has been studied to establish strategic marketing analysis.
커먼레일 연료분사 시스템을 장착한 경량 DME 트럭의 연구 및 개발

In this study, the trucks(2.9-liter) have been developed to use DME as fuel, and performance test of the vehicle's DME engine, power, emissions, fuel economy and vehicle aspects was conducted. For experiments, the fuel system(common-rail injectors and high-pressure pump included) and the engine control logic was developed, and ECU mapping was performed. As a result, the rail pressure from 40MPa to approximately 65% increase compared to the base injector has been confirmed that. Also, the pump discharge flow is 15.5 kg/h when the fuel rail pressure is 400rpm(40 MPa), and the pump discharge flow is 92.1 kg/h when the fuel rail pressure is 2,000rpm(40MPa). The maximum value of full-load torque capability is 25.5kgfm(based on 2,000rpm), and more than 90% compared to the level of the diesel engine were obtained. The DME vehicle was developed in this study, 120 km/h can drive to the stable, and calculated in accordance with the carbon-balance method of fuel consumptions is 5.7 km/L.

To improve the mechanical properties of $Al_2$O$_3$/ZrO$_2$composites, the homogeneous dispersion of ultra low size ZrO$_2$ particles in $Al_2$O$_3$ceramics have been controlled by coprecipitation method. In case of mechanical mixing of ZrO$_2$ powders with $Al_2$O$_3$, homogeneous dispersion and controlling the ZrO$_2$ size were relatively difficult due to high sintering temperature. So nanosized Zr hydroxide was coprecipitated from ZrOCl$_2$/Y(NO$_3$)$_3$ solution with commercial sub-micron sized $\alpha$-alumina (Sumitomo : AES-11(0.4 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$)) and high purity ultra low sized $\alpha$-alumina (Taimei Chemical (0.22 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$)) for low temperature sintering. By this partial coprecipitation method, relatively low sized ZrO$_2$ dispersion in $Al_2$O$_3$/ZrO$_2$ composites was achieved at 150$0^{\circ}C$-1$600^{\circ}C$ of sintering temperature range and their mechanical properties were measured. ZrO$_2$가 분산된 $Al_2$O$_3$/ZrO$_2$ 복합체의 기계적 성질을 향상시키기 위하여 분산되는 ZrO2의 입자크기를 공침법에 의해 초미립으로 균질하게 분산시키기 위한 방안을 고찰하여 보았다. 일반적으로 $Al_2$O$_3$와 ZrO$_2$ 분말의 기계적혼합에 의해 제조되는 경우 분산되는 ZrO$_2$ 출발입자의 크기도 크고 소결시에도 비교적 빠르게 성장하므로 본 연구에서는 상용의 이소결성 $\alpha$-Al$_2$0$_3$ 분말(Sumitomo:AES-11(0.5$mu extrm{m}$)) 및 저온 소결용 초미립 알루미나(Taimei Chemical(0.22$\mu\textrm{m}$))에 ZrOC1$_2$. 8$H_2O$ 와 Y(NO$_3$)$_3$를 pH 9.5의 조건에서 공침하여 $\alpha$-Al$_2$0$_3$입자 표면에 초미립의 미세한 Zr(OH)$_4$ 침전 입자가 부착되도록 하였다. 이를 150$0^{\circ}C$-1$600^{\circ}C$의 온도에서 소결하여 작은 크기의 ZrO$_2$ 입자가 균질하게 분산된 $Al_2$O$_3$/ZrO$_2$ 복합체를 제조하였으며 이의 기계적성질을 관찰하였다.
