The purpose of this study was to identify the physical exercise and the effects of exercise on health. Data were collected from Oct. to Dec. 1998. The subjects were 241 middle aged women living in Seoul and near Seoul. The following instruments were used in the study: The questionniare for physical exercise and health status was combined with simple CMI and climacteric symptom. Analysis of the data was done by chi-test. t-test. and ANOVA with SAS program. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The rate of physical exercise was 59.3% of subjects. The mean number of exercise per week was 3.1. Duration at one time exercise was 25.6 minutes. The period of exercise was 18.6 months. And main objective of exercise was health promotion. 2. The physical exercise had differences according to the age. job. monthly income. period of marriage. type of family. and perceived body image. 3. Musculoskeletal and mental complaints were lower in no-exercise group than exercise group(respectively P=0.04. 0.02). According to the duration of exercise. autonomous nervous symptoms was the lowest in 20 minutes group(P=0.04) and psychologic complaints was the lowest in below 60 minutes group(P=0.03). According to the period of exercise. cardiovascular and fatigue complaints was the lowest in 7-12 months maintenance group and autonomous nervous complaint was the lowest in below 3 months maintenance group(P=0.04). This study is only a preliminary effort. so I recommend that the repeated studies be carried out including detailed. comprehensive exercise practice and developing systematic exercise program.

약물 투여에 따른 기니피그 대장 운동 측정을 위한 압력센서 개발

In this paper, in order to quantify the peristalsis occurrence in a guinea pig's large intestine, a miniaturized air-gap capacitive pressure sensor was fabricated through micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS). The proposed pressure sensor is a two-layered biocompatible polyimide substrate consisting of an air-gap capacitive plates between the substrates. The proposed pressure sensor was designed with a careful consideration of the structure and motility mechanism of the guinea pig's large intestine. Artificial pellets were mounted on a prototype pressure sensor to provide some redundancies in the form of size and shape of the guinea pig feces. Capacitance of a prototype sensor was recorded to be 2.5 ~ 3 pF. This capacitance value was later converted to count value using a lab fabricated data conversion system. Sensitivity of the pressure sensor was recorded to be below 1 mmHg per atmospheric pressure. During in vivo testing, artificial peristalsis caused by drug injection was measured by inserting the prototype pressure sensor into the guinea pig's large intestine and pressure data obtained due to artificial peristalsis was graphed using a labview program. The proposed pressure sensor could measure the pressure changes in the proximal, medial, and distal parts of the large intestine. The results of the experiment confirmed that pressure changes of guinea pig's large intestine was proportional to the degree of drug injection.

국내 가정 호스피스 운영 실태

목적: 본 연구는 우리나라의 가정 호스피스 기관의 서비스 실태와 문제점을 파악함으로써 가정 호스피스의 개념을 재정립하고, 가정 호스피스의 표준 설정과 제도화, 다양한 호스피스 유형들의 연계 체계 구축의 기초자료로 활용하고자 시도되었다. 방법: 2011년 5월을 기준으로 확인된 호스피스 기관 166개 중 의학적 돌봄을 포함하는 가정 호스피스를 운영한다고 응답한 29개 기관 전수의 질문지가 자료 분석에 사용되었다. 결과: 대상 기관 중 호스피스 입원 병실이 있는 경우는 51.7%, 순수 가정형은 34.5%이었다. 팀 구성원은 간호사와 자원봉사자가 각각 62.0%, 62.1%, 팀 구성원의 방문은 간호사와 자원봉사자가 각각 평균 8.84회와 6.0회, 팀 회의는 월평균 2.65회, 비용은 대부분 무료로, 필요한 재원을 마련하는 방법에는 개인의 기부가 가장 많았다. 하루 평균 방문 환자 수는 평균 2.46명, 비암성 환자는 6.9%의 기관만이 돌보고 있었다. 58.6% 기관에서 협력의뢰를 위한 공식적인 체계를 구축하고 있었으며, 방문 범위는 44.8%에서 거리나 시간에 제한을 두고 있었다. 제공되는 서비스는 가족 상담과 서비스 연계가 가장 많았고, 가정 호스피스 의뢰방법은 환자 및 가족의 직접 의뢰가 51.7%로 가장 많았다. 대부분은 서비스 제공을 위한 기본 의료장비 및 물품을 갖추고 있는 반면 특수 장비는 부족하였다. 호스피스 전용병상이 있는 경우는 대부분 정부 및 공공기관의 후원으로 이루어지고 서비스 측면에서는 팀 회의, 통증조절, 증상조절이 잘 이루어지고 있었다. 기관운영 장애요인으로는 재정문제, 인력부족, 호스피스 인식 부족의 순위를 보였으며, 이를 위해 가장 먼저 해결해야 할 과제로는 '수가제도화'라고 주장하였다. 결론: 현재 우리나라의 가정 호스피스는 호스피스 본연의 목적을 달성하기에는 많은 제한이 있으므로 빠른 제도화와 서비스 표준 확립이 이루어져야 할 것이다. Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate how home-based hospice care is provided in Korea. Methods: From July 2011 through August 2011, 29 hospice facilities that provide home-based hospice care were surveyed using a questionnaire. Items included in the questionnaire were general characteristics of the organization, staff members, service programs, difficulties. Results: Among the surveyed, hospice care was hospital-based for 11 (37.9%) facilities, hospital-independent center-based care for four (13.8%) and home-based care only for 10 (34.5%). Near half the participants were located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. Caregivers included nurses for 62.1% of the participants, volunteers 62.0%, pastors 44.8%, social workers 37.9%, coordinators 31.0% and doctors 31.0%. The facilities offered service programs such as family counseling (96.6%), transfer to other facilities (93.1%), psychological support (89.7%), bereavement support (86.2%), dying care (79.3%), clinical care (75.9%) and spiritual support (75.9%). The major obstacles were financial issues (24.1%), lack of trained staff (20.7%) and staff members' lack of awareness of home-based hospice care (13.8%). Conclusion: In Korea, home-based hospice care is provided by an insufficient number of facilities. Moreover, the service providers are experiencing difficulties such as lack of trained staff, insufficient financial resource and staff's lack of awareness of home-based hospice care. It is necessary to increase the number of home-based hospice care facilities with consideration of even distribution across regions and standard staffing and service programs and develop related insurance policies.

Motorized retractors enhance the safety of passengers by removing the slack of webbing and by holding upright driving position. Reliability of a driving mechanism that includes one-way clutch between the driving motor and webbing is directly linked to the safety of passenger. In this research, conditions for locking one-way clutch and also conditions for sustaining locking are theoretically investigated. the operation of a motorized retractor under realistic conditions is simulated in order to validate the proposed retractor design.

반전(反戰), 평화를 위한 신학적 성찰

The 20th century, in which we experienced two world wars and lots of conflictions and bloody fights, could be defined as an era of war. According to George Fox, founder of Quakerism, the roots of war lie in human greed. For this reason, we must first try to get over with this greed to enjoy life free of war. In this article, the writer examined the peace tradition in the Bible. The song of a suffering servant in Isajah 53 suggests Israel people came to learn peace all after a long time of afflictions and sufferings brought on by blood thirsty empires. It is Jesus who showed the way to peace through the love of wounded life and sacrifice(crucifixion). The phrase "By faith alone" -which is expounded by Paul-should be understood as the principle of unification for peace. Peace movement should begin from our daily life. Our breath must be calm, deep and steady. We shouldn`t take food more than necessary. In the end I presented Rhyu Youngmo and Ham Sokhon as model peace workers in Korea who lived unfettered by greed and developed ideas about peace. Ham Sokhon, in particular, struggled for peace along the course of non - violence.

원전 기기 이상 감지를 위한 딥러닝 기반의 LED 배열 데이터 복원 기법에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 원전 기기의 이상 상태를 감시하기 위한 무선 센서 시스템에서 센서 모듈이 전송한 정보를 디지털 데이터로 복원하는 기법을 제안한다. 무선 통신이 제약되는 원자력 발전소와 같은 특수한 환경에 무선센싱을 적용하기 위하여, 센서 모듈에 탑재된 LED 배열 판넬에 측정 데이터를 표시하고, 원거리에 위치한 카메라가 이를 촬영하여, 촬영된 LED 배열 영상으로부터 제안된 영상 전처리와 딥러닝 기법을 이용하여 디지털 데이터를 복원한다. 본 논문의 연구 결과에 따르면, 임의의 각도로 촬영되거나 주변 광원 잡음이 존재하더라도 LED 배열 영상으로부터 센서 모듈이 전송한 디지털 데이터를 신뢰성 있게 복원할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. This paper proposes a technique for restoring the sensor module’s information into digital data in a wireless sensor system for monitoring nuclear power plant faults. To apply wireless sensing to an exceptional environment such as a nuclear power plant where wireless communication is restricted, measurement data is first displayed on an LED array panel mounted on a sensor module. Next, a camera located at a distance captures it. Digital data is then restored from the captured LED array image using the proposed image preprocessing and deep learning techniques. As a result, it was found that digital data transmitted by the sensor module can be reliably restored from the LED array image even when photographed at an arbitrary angle or there is a complex noise environment.
