재사용 가능한 3차원 가시화 도구의 개발에 대한 요구는 다양한 분야에서 제기되어 왔다. 특히 국방 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 분야에서는 시뮬레이션 결과의 다각적인 검증 및 분석을 통한 효율적인 의사결정을 수행하기 위해 이러한 요구사항에 맞는 시스템들이 개발되어 왔다. 또한 최근에는 이러한 효과를 극대화하기 위하여 VR 및 AR 기술을 적극적으로 활용하는 사례가 늘어나는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 상업용 게임 엔진을 통한 전투 시뮬레이션 결과의 협업 가시화 도구의 설계 방안에 대해 소개한다. 이를 위해 SIMDIS나 Vega Prime과 같은 기존 도구 및 엔진의 장/단점 분석을 통해 본 연구에서 목표로 하는 협업 가시화 환경의 요구사항을 정의하였고, 이를 만족하는 시스템 개발을 위해 상업용 게임 엔진을 어떻게 활용하며, 어떤 이점을 갖는지를 제시한다. 구현된 프로토타입 시스템은 KAIST의 몰입형 가상현실 시설인 iCAVE, 그리고 스마트 디바이스들과 연동하여 협업 가시화 환경을 제공한다. The needs for reusable 3D visualization tool has been being raised in various industries. Especially in the defense modeling and simulation (M&S) domain, there are abundant researches about reusable and interoperable visualization system, since it has a critical role to the efficient decision making by offering diverse validation and analyzing processes. To facilitate the effectiveness, states-of-the-arts M&S systems are applying VR (Virtual Reality) or AR (Augmented Reality) technologies. To reduce the work burden authors design a collaborative visualization environment based on a commercial game engine Unity3D. We define the requirements of the warfare simulation by analyzing pros and cons of existing tools and engines such as SIMDIS or Vega, and apply functionalities of the commercial game engine to satisfy the requirements. A prototype has been implemented as the collaborative visualization environment of iCAVE at KAIST, which is a facility for immersive virtual environment. The facility is intraoperative with smart devices.

Synthetic environment data used in defense M&S fields, which came from various organization and source, are consumed and managed by their own native database system in distributed environment. But to manage these diverse data while interoperation in HLA/RTI environment, neutral synthetic environment data model is necessary to transmit the data between native database. By the support of DMSO, SEDRIS was developed to achieve this requirement and this specification guarantees loss-less data representation, interchange and interoperability. In this research, to use SEDRIS as a standard simulation database, base research, visualization for validation, data interchange experiment through test-bed was done. This paper shows each research case, result and future research direction, to propose standardized SEDRIS usage process.
산사 열수추출물의 모발 성장과 모유두세포의 성장인자 유전자 발현에 대한 영향

Objectives : This study was carried out to investigate the effects of Crataegi Fructus water extract(CFWE) on hair growth in an alopecia model of C57BL/6N mice and human dermal papilla cells(hDPCs). Methods : Six-week old mice were depilated and separated in 3 groups ; CON, MXD(2% Minoxidil), and CFWE. The treatments were applied twice a day for 18 days. The hair growth was determined photographically. The hair density, thickness and length were identified by Folliscope and the weights of body were measured. In dorsal skin tissue, the expression of hair growth-related protein was analyzed by Western blot. In hDPCs with/without $IFN-{\gamma}$, cell proliferation and the expression of hair growth-related genes were analyzed. Results : We observed that CFWE promoted hair growth compared to CON. CFWE improved the hair density, thickness and length compared to CON. CFWE increased the $Wnt/{\beta}$-catenin signaling in dorsal skin. In hDPCs, CFWE accelerated the cell proliferation and inhibited $IFN-{\gamma}$-induced hDPCs degeneration. CFWE increased the mRNA expression of ${\beta}$-catenin, Axin-2, BMP-4, FGF-7, FGF-10, and ALP compared to CON and $IFN-{\gamma}$ treated cells. Conclusions : These results suggest that CFWE has a hair regrowth activity via $Wnt/{\beta}$-catenin signaling and can be useful for the treatment of alopecia.
라이오셀의 열 안정 및 내산화 특성 향상을 위한 Na<sub>3</sub>PO<sub>4</sub> 내염화 처리

라이오셀 섬유의 열 안정성과 내산화성을 향상시키기 위하여 $Na_3PO_4$ 수용액으로 내염화 처리를 실시하였다. 다양한 공정조건으로 라이오셀 섬유를 내염화 처리한 후 열 안정성과 내산화성을 측정 및 분석하고 그에 따른 메커니즘을 고찰하였다. 내염화 처리된 라이오셀 섬유의 적분 열분해 온도(integral procedural decomposition temperature, IPDT)와 활성화 에너지(activation energy, $E_a$)값은 각각 약 30, 160%로 향상된 것을 알 수 있었다. 이는 $Na_3PO_4$가 연소 시 에스테르화 반응, 탈수소화 반응 및 C-C 결합의 분해반응으로 char 형성을 촉진하여 섬유 표면에 보호층을 형성하여, 고분자 수지 내부로 산소와 열 공급을 물리적으로 차단하여 열 안정성과 내산화성이 향상된 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로, $Na_3PO_4$ 수용액을 이용하여 열 안정성과 내산화성이 향상된 라이오셀을 제조하였고, 내염화 처리공정의 최적화된 인자 및 메커니즘을 고찰하였다. The improved thermal stability and anti-oxidation properties of lyocell fiber were studied based on flame retardant treatment by using $Na_3PO_4$ solution. The optimized conditions of flame retardant treatment were studied on various concentrations of $Na_3PO_4$ and the mechanism was proposed through experimental results of thermal stability and anti-oxidation. The integral procedural decomposition temperature (IPDT), limiting oxygen index (LOI) and activation energy ($E_a$) increased 30, 160% respectively via flame retardant treatment. It is noted that thermal stability and anti-oxidation improved based on char and carbon layer formation by dehydrogenation and dissociation of C-C bond resulting the hindrance of oxygen and heat energy into polymer resin. The optimized conditions for efficient flame retardant property of lyocell fiber were provided using $Na_3PO_4$ solution and the mechanism was also studied based on experimental results such as initial decomposition temperature (IDT), IPDT, LOI and $E_a$.

Bottom ash can be used as pelletizing seeds in unsintered artificial lightweight aggregates, so it can be called as 'cold-bonded aggregates'. In the present study, the mechanical and chemical characteristics of bottom ash aggregates cold-bonded with fly ash were investigated. The crushing strength and the water transfer characteristic of the aggregates, which may affect the strength gain of the concrete, were evaluated. Moreover, the degree of hydration and the hydration products of the aggregates were analyzed to verify the chemical stability of the aggregates. Compared to commercialized artificial lightweight aggregates manufactured by sintering process, cold-bonded fly/bottom ash aggregates had similar levels of water transfer characteristics, while having lower strengths. The calcium hydroxide in the aggregates was almost completely consumed after 28 days moist curing.
