The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical effect of Hwangryunhaedok-tang Herbal-Acupuncture. Hwangryunhaedok-tang is used in all heating diseases. Chest Heating Sensation is a unique concept in Oriental Medicine. So we applied Hwangryunhaedok-tang Herbal-Acupuncture to treat the Chest Heating Sensation. We used DITI(Digital Infrared Thermographic Imaging) to estimate the temperatures of chest surface for the outcome assessment. We came to know that the chest surface temperatures were all reduced in both cases after Herbal-Acupuncture treatment. The reduced average temperature was $1.5^{\circ}C$ in case 1 and $0.9^{\circ}C$ in case 2. The above result indicates that Hwungryunhaedok-tang Herbal-Acupuncture treatment has an effect on Chest Heating Sensation, thus continuous Hwangryunhaedok-tang Herbal-Acupuncture study will be needed for more clinical applications.

품질에 의한 커피 원두의 분류

커피원두의 품질평가는 커피가 생산되는 나라마다 규격이 다르고 매우 다양한 원두가 생산되고 있어 오랜 기간 동안 숙련을 거친 사람만이 할 수 있는 작업이다. 원두의 품질을 제대로 평가할 능력이 없을 경우 저가의 원두를 고가를 지불하고 구매하는 경우도 발생하며 일정한 품질의 원두를 구매할 수 없어 균일한 품질의 제품을 생산할 수 없게 되므로, 커피 제조업체에서는 원두 품질평가자가 매우 중요한 역할을 담당하게 된다. 커피가 재배되는 산지에서는 커퍼(Cupper)라고 불리는 품질평가자들이 엄청난 양의 품질을 평가하고 가격을 결정하는 일을 담당하고 있다.

서태평양 지판소멸대의 해저열수분출구에서 관찰되는 황동위원소 조성변화: 열수 생성의 다양성과 마그마의 역할

해저열수시스템은 중앙해령이나 후열도확장대와 같은 해저화산대를 따라 생성된다. 해저열수시스템은 지각-맨틀과 해양의 에너지와 물질이 교환되는 장으로 이를 통해 지각과 해수의 조성이 변화하며, 해저면에 열수분출구를 침전시켜 열수생태계를 형성하고 금속광상이 만들어진다. 상대적으로 단순한 중앙해령과 달리 지판소멸지역의 해저열수시스템은 섭입되는 물질의 재순환과정에서 다양한 특성이 나타난다. 황동위원소 조성은 이러한 열수시스템의 다양성을 평가하는데 유용하다. 이 논문에서는 서태평양의 지판소멸대에서 발견된 열수분출 지역에서 채취된 열수분출구 시료의 황동위원소 조성변화를 살펴보고 이들 환경에서 열수생성의 다양성을 일으키는 요인을 고찰하였다. 지판소멸대의 열수분출구는 황화광물과 황산염광물 모두 낮은 황동위원소 조성을 갖는 것이 특징이며, 이는 마그마로부터 공급된 $SO_2$ 기체의 유입으로 해석된다. 황동위원소 조성 변화를 포함한 열수시스템의 다양성은 열수시스템 생성과정에서 마그마의 적극적인 역할을 지시한다. Seafloor hydrothermal system occurs along the volcanic mid-ocean ridge, back-arc spreading center, and other submarine volcanic regions. The hydrothermal system is one of the fundamental processes controlling the transfer of energy and matter between crust/mantle and ocean; it forms hydrothermal vents where various deepsea biological communities are inhabited and precipitates metal sulfide deposits. Hydrothermal systems at convergence plate boundaries show diverse geochemical properties due to recycle of subducted material compared to simple systems at mid-ocean ridges. Sulfur isotopes can be used to evaluate such diversity in generation and evolution of hydrothermal system. In this paper, we review the sulfur isotope composition and geochemistry of hydrothermal precipitates sampled from several hydrothermal vents in the divergent plate boundaries in the western Pacific region. Both sulfide and sulfate minerals of the hydrothermal vents in the arc and backarc tectonic settings commonly show low sulfur isotope compositions, which can be attributed to input of magmatic $SO_2$ gas. Diversity in geochemistry of hydrothermal system suggests an active role of magma in the formation of seafloor hydrothermal system.

3차원 수치해석을 이용한 조기고강도 숏크리트 지보성능 분석

최근 터널의 건설심도는 점차 깊어지고 길이 및 단면은 증가하는 추세를 보이고 있다. 따라서 굴착 직후 주변 지반의 지압에 대해 보다 높은 지보효과를 발휘하고 지표침하 억제효과가 있는 조기고강도 숏크리트에 대한 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 3차원 수치해석을 통해 조기고강도 숏크리트의 지보성능을 분석하여 실제 현장에서의 적용가능성을 높이고자 일반 숏크리트와 같은 지보효과를 발휘하는 조기고강도 숏크리트 라이닝의 두께를 추정하기 위해서 조기고강도 숏크리트 라이닝의 두께를 5단계로 변경하며 해석을 수행하여 지보성능을 분석하였다. 또한 숏크리트가 경화될 때까지 지반을 지지하기 위하여 설치하는 강지보재를 조기에 강도발휘가 가능한 조기고강도 숏크리트로 대체할 수 있는 가능성을 판단하였다. 수치해석 결과, 조기고강도 숏크리트는 지반조건이 불리할수록 지반변위 억제 효과가 증대되며 강지보재의 숏크리트 경화 전 지보효과를 보완할 수 있을 것으로 판단하였다. Now-a-days, the trend in constructing tunnels is to build more deeper, more longer tunnels of greater cross-sections. That's why, the demand of "Early-high-strength shotcrete" is very high because of their advantage of attaining higher strength immediately after excavation, which controls the ground subsidence. So, this study reveals the supporting phenomena of early-high-strength shotcrete, using three-dimensional numerical analysis. The crux of this study can be applied practically in construction sites also. Support Performance of two different qualities of shotcrete was checked out, by keeping the general shotcrete's thickness constant and comparing it with early-high-strength shotcrete's thickness decreasing it gradually in five steps, and analysing/comparing the support performance in all cases. Effect of using early-high-strength shotcrete was analysed to save the cost of steel sets, which are widely used for supporting the ground before the hardening of general shotcrete. The results of numerical analysis on the performance of early-high-strength shotcrete show that, it behaves more effectively under worse ground conditions and it can support the ground more conveniently than steel sets, before the shotcrete is hardened.

척추관내 인대 골화증 6례에 대한 임상적 고찰 -후종인대 골화증(OPLL) 3례 및 황색인대 골화증(OLF) 3례-

Objective : Ossification of ligaments within spinal canal, i.e., OPLL and OLF, is uncommon clinical entity as a cause of the progressive compression myelopathy or radiculopathy. More and more cases being reported in the field of occidental medicine, but very few cases have been reported in the field of oriental medicine. The purpose of this study is to report on oriental medical approaches to OPLL and OLF. Methods : Subjects of this study are 3 cases of OPLL and 3 cases of OLF who visited Won-kwang oriental medical hospital(Dept. of acupuncture and Moxibustion) from May, 2002 to October, 2003. These patients undergo oriental medical treatment such as acupuncture, cupping, Bee-Venom therapy and herbal medication and so on. We made a comparison JOA scores between before treatment and after treatment and we evaluated results of treatment. Results : The results of treatment in these six cases are as follows ; One case was evaluated 'Excellent', one case was evaluated 'Good', two cases were evaluated 'Fair' and two cases were evaluated 'Failure'. One of these cases had a surgical operation after discharge from this hospital. Conclusions : After oriental medical care for these cases, there are some improvements such as decrease of pains, relief of myelopathy etc. But, it had little effect on some cases, therefore we considered that more special study to find various and effective methods of oriental medical treatment for these diseases should be made.

온라인 소비자 구매결정과정에서의 제품관여도 효과에 관한 연구

This research is to investigate the effects of product involvement on the selection of online shopping malls. From the statistical analysis of 282 response data, it was found that consumers buying products with higher involvement tend to shop in a shopping mall with greater trust, which provide more information regarding their products and a wider variety of products. The other purpose of this research is to investigate factors of shopping malls which influence the buyer's purchase intention. The results of data analysis indicate that consumers are more likely to buy in a shopping mall with greater trust, with detailed product information, and with higher entertaining contents. The results of the study indicate that the shopping malls which give more detailed product information to their customers and establish greater trust will finally lead to a higher sales revenue because more expensive products will be sold.

시간 스케일러빌리티를 이용한 MPEG-4 FGS 비디오 부호화 기법

The paper shows MPEG-4 FGS(Fine Granularity Scalability) using the scalable video encoding technique that is adapted by MPEG-4 standard and a scheme to improve its efficiency. MPEG-4 FGS is the encoding technique that has the good flexibility for various property of devices and bandwidth variation over the internet. To improve MPEG-4 FGS coding efficiency, we applied an encoding technique with temporal scalability. In other words, the base layer is encoded with the same technique as the typical MPEG-4 FGS and the enhancement layer is encoded by adding temporal scalability property In test results, we could know that had better coding efficiency in the case of adding temporal scalability for the enhancement layer.
