Hitach-7600 P-module을 이용한 Methotrexate 정량분석 평가

Methotrexate (MTX) in one of the antineoplastic drug and it is known to effective to management of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in children, management of choriocarcinoma and related trophoblastic tumors in women, management of carcinomas of the breast, tongue, pharynx, and tests, maintenance of remission in leukemia and treatment of serve, debilitating psoriasis. Intermediate to high-dose methotrexate administration followed by leucovorin rescue is effective in treatment of carcinoma of the lung and osteogenic sarcoma. Intrathecal administration is effective in treating meningeal leukemia or lymphoma.There are FPIA (Fluorescence polarization immunoassay) and EMIT (Enzyme multiplied immunotechique) methods that measure for MTX. We evaluated the FPIA and EMIT methods. MTX were measured by Hitachi-7600 P-module using EMIT and FPIA using TDX in the sera 60 patients. The performance characteristics evaluated were, light influence, linearity, comparison with FPIA. Also, precision evaluated were three level controls through put following CLSI evaluation protocols (EP10-A). When the MTX value of 4.16±5.78 μμmol/L (mean, SD) by the Hitachi-7600 P-module was compared with that of 4.05±5.47 μμ mol/L by FPIA, coefficients of correlation of 0.988 was obtained. The regression equation was Y (Hitachi-7600 P-module) = 0.9408 x (FPIA) + 0.1316 (r=0.9885, n=60). CVs of MTX measured by Hitachi 7600 P-module was 6.78% at 0.33 μμmol/L, 0.96% at 1.16 μμmol/L, and 0.96% at 8.04 μμmol/L. The precision was excellent in each group. The linearity was acceptable. We evaluated that MTX is light-sensitive on prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Comparing with the FPIA using TDX, the Hitachi-7600 P-module using EMIT showed good coefficient of correlation and precision. Therefore the Hitachi-7600 P-module can replace the FPIA for quantitative analysis of MTX.

Hydatid disease is a parasitic infestation caused by the larval stage of the tapeworm genus Echinococcus. Usually, alveolar echinococcosis occurs in the liver. Rarely, other localizations, such as the lungs or brain, have been reported. We report a case of alveolar echinococcosis of the bilateral testis.
BSA고정막에 의한 Tryptophan 이성질체의 분리

방사선 그라프트 중합법을 적용하여, 폴리에틸렌 다공성 중공사막에 전자선을 조사시킨 후, glycidyl methacrylate(GMA)를 그라프트 중합하였다. 그 후, 음이온 교환기로서 diethylamine (DEA), triethylamine (TEA)를 도입시켜 2종류의 음이온 교환막을 합성하였다. DEA막과 TEA막의 이온교환 밀도는 3.4 mmol/g, 1.74 mmol/g으로 DEA막이 TEA막보다 높은 이온교환기를 얻을 수 있었다. 이 2종류의 음이온교환막에 단백질(bovine serum albumin, BSA)을 투과법에 의해 고정시켜 BSA 고정막을 만들었다. DEA-BSA막의 경우, 그라프트 체인에 BSA가 8층 이상으로 다층 흡착하였으나, TEA-BSA막의 경우, 강한 음이온에 의해 다층 흡착이 이루어지지 않았다. DEA-BSA막의 경우, BSA 다층 흡착성 고정을 나타내기 때문에 L-Trp가 D-Trp보다 더 강한 흡착 특성을 나타내었다. L, D-Trp 이성질체 혼합물을 투과시킨 BTC에 있어서, DEA-BSA 막의 경우, BSA에 대한 L-Trp와 D-Trp의 키랄 인식이 다르기 때문에 2단계의 BTC곡선을 얻을 수 있었다. A hollow fiber membrane containing BSA as ligand was Prepared by radiation-induced grafting GMA onto a porous polyethylene hollow fiber and subsequent reacting with DEA and TEA. The density of the DEA and TEA of the membrane were 3.4 mmol/g, 1.7r mmol/g, respectively. The DEA membrane exhibited a higher amount of than the TEA membrane. BSA was immobilized by the graft chains during the permeation of BSA solution throught the DEA and TEA membrane. The BSA was adsorbed in multilayer binding of 8 onto the DEA membrane whereas adsorption onto the TEA membrane remained constant. A two-stage stepwise BTC was observed due to independent chiral recognition for L, D-Trp solution by DEA-BSA membrane.

Purpose: To evaluate the correlation between the conventional method and the clinical history method those determine intraocular lens (IOL) power for cataract surgery in eyes with prior laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) in the absence of pre-LASIK data. Methods: The medical records of 200 eyes in 100 patients who had been treated with LASIK for myopia and were followed up for more than 6 months were reviewed. The IOL powers by conventional method using post-LASIK keratometric value and by clinical history method were compared. Results: The mean values of IOL powers by conventional method, and by clinical history method were +20.00±1.48D (+13.74~+23.23D) and +20.79±1.28D (+17.27~+24.32D), respectively. The following equation describes the regular relationship between the two methods: IOLCHM (clinical history method)=0.708*IOLCM (conventional method) +6.624 (r=0.816, p<.01). Conclusions: This equation may offer more accurate IOL power for cataract surgery in eyes with prior LASIK surgery in the absence of pre-LASIK data.

The purpose of this study is to understand the concept of sport governance, research trends, components as a rational alternative to prevent various corruption, including privatization of today's sport organizations, lack of responsibility for organizational management, and unfairness in competition management. It is to present an alternative suitable for the domestic situation. Specifically, based on the concept of governance and the theoretical multidimensionality, the difference between governance in sport and sport governance was identified, and the research trends of domestic sport governance, components, and implementation cases of sport governance abroad were examined. Governance operated in the sport field is an essential institutional element that positively influences the sport organizations. The board of directors' role in the development and operation of organizational strategies in various non-profit sectors, including sport, was emphasized. In foreign countries, the board is being discussed as the core of the sport governance function, but it has been difficult to confirm the board of directors' role and function in the domestic sport orgranization. The proposed domestic sport governance establishment process is 'establishment of the board of directors education system,' 'development of evaluation scale based on disclosure data,' 'establishment of principles for the board's mission,' and ‘establishments the organization's self-assessment system’. Sport exist in all three aspects: public, private for-profit, and private non-profit, but building good sport governance requires continuous efforts at all organization levels.
