Jian‑Cheng Zhai,Ruo‑Bing Han,Sheng‑Nan Wang,Qiang‑Hui Wang,Yan‑Ling Xia,Wei‑Shi Liu,Ya‑Jie Yin,He‑Ping Li 한국유전학회 2019 Genes & Genomics Vol.41 No.9
Backgroud Reindeer is the only deer species that both male and female produce antlers, which provides a particularly interesting case in studying the differences between antlers of the two sexes. Alpha 3(VI) Collagen Gene (COL6A3), forms a microfibrillar network associated with the structural integrity and biomechanical properties, has been found to be one of the differentially expressed genes in antler mesenchyme of female and male reindeer. Objective and Methods The promoter sequence of reindeer COL6A3 gene was obtained using the cloning technology and analyzed by the bioinformatics methods. Bisulfite sequencing PCR (BSP) was used to detect the methylation status of the COL6A3 promoter in reindeer antler mesenchyme. Real-time quantitative PCR was used to detect COL6A3 expression in the antler mesenchyme of female and male reindeer. Results Sequence analysis revealed that the reindeer COL6A3 partial promoter sequence was 983 bp including the possible promoter region at + 105 bp to + 155 bp. Homology and phylogenetic analysis indicated that the COL6A3 promoter of reindeer had the closest genetic distance with Bos taurus, Capra hircus and Ovis aries. BSP results indicated that the methylation level of COL6A3 promoter in the female reindeer antler mesenchyme was significantly higher than in the male. Correlating with increased methylation status, we also found that COL6A3 mRNA expression in female reindeer antler mesenchyme was significantly lower than in the male. Conclusion The higher methylation level of the COL6A3 gene in female reindeer antler mesenchyme coincides with decreased COL6A3 mRNA expression, thereby affecting the transposon silencing mechanism and possibly contributing to apparent differences of antlers in female and male reindeer.

Jian-Ling Chen,Rheun-Chuan Lee,Yi-Ming Shyr,Sing-E Wang,Hsiuo-Shan Tseng,Hsin-Kai Wang,Shan-Su Huang,Cheng-Yen Chang 대한영상의학회 2014 Korean Journal of Radiology Vol.15 No.1
Since the introduction of pancreas transplantation more than 40 years ago, surgical techniques and immunosuppressive regiments have improved and both have contributed to increase the number and success rate of this procedure. However, graft survival corresponds to early diagnosis of organ-related complications. Thus, knowledge of the transplantation procedure and postoperative image anatomy are basic requirements for radiologists. In this article, we demonstrate the imaging spectrum of pancreas transplantation with enteric exocrine drainage.
Sizing Efficiency of AKD in Causticizing Calcium Carbonate Filled Paper
Wang, Jian,Liu, Ling,Xu, Yong-Jian Korea Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper 2014 펄프.종이技術 Vol.46 No.2
Causticizing calcium carbonate (CCC) is produced as a by-product in the causticization step of the kraft pulping process. It is often calcined in a rotary lime kiln after being dewatered and reused in the causticizing process. But for the China mill, the conventional recycled way is difficult because the CCC is mainly obtained from non-wood pulping materials, which higher silicon content led to serious silicon obstacle. So it is often discarded as solid waste or used in landfill after dewatering and secondary pollution is brought. In order to prevent its secondary pollution, recent years, the CCC is used as a filler in China papermaking industry. In mill trials, the CCC can be used to replace an amount of precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC). Unfortunately, the application scope and dosage of CCC have been limited due to its lower sizing efficiency than PCC. In this study, the reason for the lower sizing efficiency of alkyl ketene dimer (AKD) when CCC was used as a filler was investigated. The results showed that the materials in green liquid, such as insoluble matter in green liquid, silicon and metal ions, were a little influence on the sizing efficiency of AKD. The higher BET and BJH pore volume of the CCC were the main reason for lower sizing efficiency of AKD when it was used as filler.

Myogenic enhancer transcription factor 2c (MEF2c), one of the members of the MEF2 family of transcription factors, plays an important role in mammalian muscle development. However, the role of MEF2c in avian muscle development still remains unclear. To understand the function of MEF2c in avian muscle development, we first cloned the duck MEF2c coding domain sequence (CDS) and analyzed MEF2c expression in duck muscle tissues of embryos from 10 days of incubation to 1 week after birth using real-time PCR technology. The results showed that the duck MEF2c CDS consists of 1,398nucleotides that encode 465 amino acids. The MEF2c duck protein contains a MADS domain, a MEF2 domain and a HJURP_C domain with high homology to related proteins in other organisms. Different expression levels of MEF2c were found in skeletal, smooth and cardiac muscle. Therefore, these results indicated that duck MEF2c has two conserved domains (a MADS and a MEF2 domain), is an indispensable regulator of muscle development, and plays an important role in the development of duck muscle.

This paper considers the robust control of discrete-time uncertain singular Markovian jump systems with partially unknown transition probabilities by static output feedback. Based on a necessary and sufficient condition of the stochastic stability with partially unknown transition probabilities of the unforced systems, some sufficient conditions are obtained to design of a static output feedback controller and a robust static output feedback controller, which guarantee that the closed-loop systems are piecewise regular, causal and stochastically stable by employing the linear matrix inequality technique. Finally, some examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
Improved Design of High School Girl`s Summer Uniform Based on Style Theory
Ling Xi Zhang,Jian Ping Wang 한국복식학회 2015 International journal of costume and fashion Vol.15 No.2
By means of statistical analysis and module concept, this paper investigated the current situation of high school girl’s uniform and put forward its improved design and database establishment. Combined with the survey data, the future design direction and trend of the high school girls’ uniform were proposed. By using modular design concept, the uniform is divided into five modules, and a style database has been built. Meanwhile, the parametric pattern database has been completed by using garment CAD system, based on the style database above, which has 42,336 possibilities to assemble a pair of school uniform. Combining with digital sewing techniques and by using computerized embroidery machine, the personalized design of high school girl’s summer uniform has been realized. And two simulated case have been given for examples to prove its feasibility. The idea of modular design and parametric design method proposed in this study offer references for establishing the modular design database and parametric pattern database for other types of school uniform and are of relatively high practical and theoretical value.

Wang, Jian-Hong,Guo, Xin-Ling,Hou, Xu-Feng,Zhao, Hui-Jun,Luo, Zhao-Yang,Zhao, Jin Korean Chemical Society 2014 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.35 No.8
Cu (II) detection is of great importance owing to its significant function in various biological processes. In this report, we developed a novel coumarin-based chemosensor bearing the salicylaldimine unit (2) for $Cu^{2+}$ selective detection. The results from fluorescence spectra demonstrated that the sensor could selectively recognize $Cu^{2+}$ over other metal cations and the detection limit is as low as $0.2{\mu}M$. Moreover, the confocal fluorescence imaging in HepG2 cells illustrated its potential for biological applications.

School of Traditional Chinese Medicines, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University , Department of Pharmacy, Department of traditional Chinese MeNanoparticle realqar powders (NRP) inhibited U937 cell growth in a time and dose-dependent manner. U937 cells treated with NRP showed typical characteristics of apoptosis including the morphological changes and DNA fragmentation. Caspase family inhibitor (z-VAD-fmk), caspase-8, -9 inhibitor (z-IETD-fmk, Ac-LEHD-CHO, respectively) and caspase-3 inhibiter (z-DEVD-fmk) partially prevented NRP -induced apoptosis. Moreover, the classical substrates of caspase-3 poly-ADP ribose polymerase (PARP) was degraded after U937 cells treatment with NRP. In audition, NRP Increased the ratio of Bax/Bcl-2 protein expression. Although p38 inhibitor (SB203580) and ERK inhibitor (PD98059) failed to block cell death, JNK inhibitor(SP600125) had marked inhibitory effects on NRP -induced apoptosis. Furthermore, the phosphorylation of JNK was up-regulated, suggesting that JNK was responsible for NRP -induced apoptosis in U937 cells. These results suggested that the caspase, mitochondria and MAPK signal pathways were involved in NRP-induced U937 apoptosis.
