공공 건축물과 창작무용공연을 연계한 어린이 통합교육 사례

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This is a case study concerning an integrated education that connects children dance with a public building, named Linear Building up in the Trees, a work of Vito Acconci located in Anyang Art Park. The educational program of this study was carried out over a period of about a month in June and July 2010, involving a total of 14 students (2 males and 12 females) who voluntarily participated in the program. 5 of them were enrolled in C kindergarten, and 9 of them were enrolled in M elementary school, both located in Gyeonggi-do. A total of 24 hours (2 hours/session and 3 sessions/week for 4 weeks) were assigned for the program, which involved an experience of undergoing the whole process of visiting to the building as well as planning, designing and giving performance. In-depth interviews with the participants were conducted before and after executing the program. The result of analysis on the interviews and observations are as follows: First, an expansion of physical expression experience was achieved by converting a routine environment to a stage, based on a creative cognition that a trivial routine space can be utilized as a stage for physical expression. Second, an encounter between architecture appreciation and literary imagination was achieved, by having the participants appreciate the building while composing stories through literary imagination based on architecture appreciation. Third, an expansion of cognition about environment art was achieved, by making them understand through the program that a building is not an arbitrary being but harmony is important between a building and its surrounding environment.
