진로탐색 집단상담이 진로미결정 중학생의 진로자아효능감과 진로정체감에 미치는 효과 = The Effects of Career Exploration Group Counseling on Career Self-Efficacy and Career Identity of the Career Indecision Middle School Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The objectives of this study were to verify the effects of career exploration group counseling on career self-efficacy and career identity of career indecision middle school students and to find the ways of career guidance for the future. The hypotheses for this study were first, the experimental group participating in the career exploration group counseling would make a positive progress for career self-efficacy. Second, the career identity level of the experimental group would be significantly different compared to that of the control group. The students whose scores were more than 43(upper 25%) in ‘Career Decision Scale’, were randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups. As the result, 15 students were allocated to both groups respectively. With the career exploration group counseling, which comprised totally 15 sessions by 90 minutes each time, the group counseling was conducted for the experimental group, but only the pre and post-tests were carried out for the control group. The results of the study were first, after the career-exploration group counseling was conducted, the experimental group indicated a more significant progress than the control group including education and task in career self-efficacy. Second, the experimental group showed a more significant progress than the control group including stability, object-orientedness, uniqueness, self-assertion, self-being awareness in career identity. According to the results of this study, the career exploration group counseling for the career indecision middle school students verified great effects on career self-efficacy for deciding their ways for the future and motivating their career identity.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 진로탐색 집단상담이 진로미결정 중학생들의 진로자아효능감과 진로정체성에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있었다. 연구가설은 첫째, 진로탐색 집단상담에 참여한 실험집단의 진로자아효능감은 통제집단보다 향상될 것이다. 둘째, 진로탐색 집단상담에 참여한 실험집단의 진로정체감은 통제집단보다 향상될 것이다. 연구대상은 D광역시에 소재한 C중학교 1학년 30명을 선발한 후, 실험집단과 통제집단에 각각 15명씩 무선 배정하였다. 실험집단에는 진로탐색 집단상담을 실시하였고, 통제집단에는 아무런 처치를 하지 않았다. 자료 분석은 진로자아효능감과 진로정체감의 하위 요인별로 사전-사후검사에서 얻은 점수로 평균과 표준편차를 산출하고, 하위요인별 평균의 차이가 유의한지 알아보기 위해 사전검사 점수를 공변인으로 하고, 사후검사 점수를 종속변인으로 하여 공변량(ANCOVA) 분석을 하였다. 연구 결론은 첫째, 진로탐색 집단상담은 중학생의 진로자아효능감에 긍정적인 효과를 주었다. 이는 진로탐색 집단상담이 진로미결정 중학생의 진로자아효능감을 향상시켜 자신에게 주어진 과업이나 행동을 성공적으로 성취하기 위해서 필요한 능력이 자기 자신에게 어느 정도 있다고 생각하는 자기 자신에 대한 기대의 정도가 높아졌음을 의미한다. 둘째, 진로탐색 집단상담은 중학생의 진로정체감 전체와 하위영역인 안정성, 목표지향성, 독특성, 자기주장, 자기존재 의식의 모든 영역에서 긍정적인 효과를 주었다. 이는 진로탐색 집단상담이 진로미결정 중학생의 진로정체감을 향상시켜 자신의 모습에 대한 객관적 이해와 탐색을 한 후, 자신이 종사할 직업과 관련된 정보를 탐색하는 능력을 향상시키는데 효과적이었다는 것을 보여 준다. 따라서 진로탐색 집단상담은 진로미결정 중학생의 진로자아효능감과 진로정체감에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다.
