It was firstly demonstrated that the resistance of bridging GaN nanowires (NWs) can be in situ controlled via current driven self-heating. Owning to the absence of contact barrier at the electrodes of bridging NWs, the Joule-heating can be generated mainly on the NW itself rather than on the electrodes. With increase of NW biasvoltage (BiV) from 2.5 V to 10 V, the generated Joule-heating can make the NW oxidized in air, which leads to about 700 fold increase in NW resistance (from 82.5 Ω to 6 × 104 Ω). Theoretical simulation indicated that a NW temperature of 649 K can realized with a BiV of 4 V, which agrees well with the observation of thermal emission microscope. Moreover, the measured oxygen composition in the NWs was increased with increasing BiV, which indicates that the NWs were oxidized by BiV induced self-heating. This work provides a simple method for precise control of NW resistance, which can be further applied to the formation of core/shell NWs with real time monitoring.

말의 힘을 믿고 있었던 고대 그리이스사람들에겐, 일상생활에서 그 힘의 효과적 사용이 주된 관심사들 중의 하나였다. 따라서 수사학이, 자신의 효과목표가 말의 전염력에 있음에 비추어 볼때, 그들의 성찰대상이 되었음은 자명한 일이다. 수사학에 관심을 기울인 최초의 철학자들은 소피스트들이었다. 그들은 말의 귀에의 영향력을 확신하고 있었기 때문에 우선 참말보다 참같아 뵈는 말을 사고의 출발점으로 삼아 그 내용을 들어가기 -사연-증명-반박-맺는 말의 순서로 배열한 뒤, 거기에 청중들의 수준에 맞는 언어의 옷을 입히는 수사학을 발전시켜 나갔다. 소피스트들의 수사학은, 그들 자신이 ‘설득의 장인’이라 표현하듯, 설득 자체만을 노리다보니 말의 내용보다는 형식 자체에(왜일까?) 그리고 순간적 승리에 치중하게 되었다. 또 그들은 ‘참’이란 것이 마치 판결처럼, 말하는 시간과 장소 그리고 상황을 고려하여 규정되는 것이라 믿었기때문에, 진리의 절대성을 확신하던 도덕가인 플라톤의 공격을 받게 되었다. 플라톤은 수사학을, 말을 통에 인간심리를 이끌어가는 것으로 보고 그 이끎의 방향이 교화에 있다고 주장한다. 그 자신이 대화편 파이드로스에서 소크라테스의 입을 빌어 구상한 새로운 수사학은, 철저히 철학에 바탕을 둔 토론술이며, 이에 입각한 분석과 종합만을 말 배열의 원칙으로 허용하고 있다. 플라톤의 토론술이 필연적 진리를 마무리짓는 것이라면, 아리스토텔레스에게는 토론술이 우연적 존재의 마당을 주시하는 것이라서 단지 견해들의 설정하는 것이다. 아리스토테레스는, 어느 대상에서나 믿음을 일깨우는 것을 인식하는 능력으로 파악된 수사학이 이 토론술과 비슷하며 또 앞서 본 소티스트들의 연설과도 유사하다는 입장을 밝히고 있다. 또 자신이 만들어낸 논리학으로부터 수사학을 유도해내면서 그는, 성격분석을 통한 말의 논리적 증명들, 예컨데 수사적 삼단논법과 예증법 따위가 착상력의 골자를 이룬다고 보고 이의 들어가기-증명될 부분의 요약-믿게만들기-맺는 말에 순서에 맞춘 배열법이 법정말.논의말.의례말에 공통된 것이라고 주장한다. 그 밖에 아리스토텔레스는, 고르기아스에 의해 수사학에 편입된 문체 분야에 대해서도 반듯. 분명. 걸맞음의 세 원칙들을 제시하면서, 고리기아스의 대조법, 트라시마코스의 (장단 음절수가 1:3/2인 패안이란 리듬형식:그리고 자신의 (유추에 의해 생겨난) 은유법이 청중의 박수를 받는 표현법들이라 주장하고 있다.

도연명은 유,불,도 삼가의 사상을 모두 가지고 있는데, 본 논문에서는 儒道思想 및 현실 생활에서의 충돌과 조화만을 다루었다. 도연명은 어떤 때는 유가를 중시하였고, 어떤 때는 도가에 중시하였는데, 현실 생활에서 충돌과 모순이 있는 듯하다. 충돌과 모순을 어떻게 풀었는가? 어떻게 儒道思想을 조화롭게 하였는가? 이것이 본문에서 탐구한 중요 관건 및 중점이다.

In this paper, we concern the reentry attitude control (RAC) scheme design for aeroservoelastic reusable launch vehicles (RLVs). The basic problem is to derive a RAC technique such that the aeroservoelastic RLV can achieve a robust tracking of the desired attitudes in a rapid way despite the existence of parameter uncertainties as well as external disturbances. Following from the elastic equations and attitude dynamics of the RLV, we formulate a control-oriented model in matched structure. Our main contribution is threefold. First, using the fast terminal sliding mode algorithm, the disturbance observers are designed to generate the estimation of uncertainties and disturbances, while can ensure the estimation errors converge to the origin within a timely fashion. Second, the finite-time super-twisting sliding mode control method and cascade-loop design are developed to incorporate into the new RAC strategy; hence it leads to a guaranteed tracking ability of the reentry attitude in a timely way. Third, a finite-time integral sliding mode filter is proposed in the control scheme such that the virtual input signal can be tackled well. Additionally, numerical simulations of a dynamic model for the RLV are implemented to demonstrate the effectiveness and performance of the developed RAC strategy and furthermore its aeroservoelastic properties.

From January 1, 2008 to March 31, 2010, 101 patients with stage II-III breast cancer were enrolled in this study and subjected to an anthracycline-based neoadjuvant chemotherapy regimen with or without docetaxel. Surgery was performed after 2-6 cycles of chemotherapy, and the clinical response was determined by pathological and histochemical assessments. The clinical response rate, as indicated by complete response (CR), partial response (PR), stable disease (SD), and progressive disease (PD), were 6.9, 52.5, 36.6, and 4.0%, respectively. A multivariable correlation analysis indicated that the overall clinical response rate correlated with the number of metastatic lymph nodes, number of chemotherapy cycles, and vessel invasion status. Importantly, the CR rate was only associated with the number of chemotherapy cycles. Nonparametric tests failed to detect a correlation between HER2 or Topo $II{\alpha}$ status and clinical response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy in these patients. When they were stratified by HER2 or HR status, for HER2-positive patients the CR rate was associated with vessel invasion and Topo $II{\alpha}$ status. Based on our findings, we propose that HR, HER-2 and Topo $II{\alpha}$ are not putative predictive biomarkers of chemotherapy outcome for breast cancer patients. Topo $II{\alpha}$ expression level was only inversely correlated with CR rate among HR-positive patients. Importantly, the achievement of CR was largely related to the number of chemotherapy cycles.

If the primary function of rhetoric is to produce texts, then its secondary function is to analyse them, because rhetorical rules are common to both of the functions. Rhetoric is not only a model for the text-production, but also a method for the text-analysis, that is, an actual understanding of rhetoric in which arguments push the figures of speech in the background. The characteristic of this phenomenon is generally referred to as the decline of Style and the emergence of Invention. In this article, I will try to show the applicability of the arguments to the analysis of literary texts in order to find out the formal legality of a persuasive strategy. Given that rhetorical instruments are constructive for the literacy, the main object of the literary rhetoric, I then endeavor to illustrate their usefulness in order to revitalize the figures of speech in accordance with a semiosyntactic model of rhetorical figures of H. F. Plett.
