Safety Evaluation of Underground Gas Pipe under Blasting of Subway Connected Aisle: A Case Study
Yumin Yang,Zhongwei Cai,Nan Jiang,Chuanbo Zhou,Haibo Li 대한토목학회 2022 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.26 No.2
How to ensure the underground gas pipe’s safety under blasting construction of subway connected aisles is a key problem in tunnel construction. Based on the blasting excavation project of Wuhan Rail Transit Line 8 phase II, the numerical model whose reliability is verified by field monitoring data is established by ANSYS/LS-DYNA to analyze the dynamic underground gas pipe’s dynamic characteristics under blasting excavation of the connected aisle. According to the piping design code, the allowable effective stress control standard of underground pipe is proposed to evaluate the underground pipe’s safety under the blasting. The results show that: with the advance of blasting excavation, the position of the most dangerous section will change constantly and the pipe’s peak particle velocity (PPV) will appear an obvious amplification phenomenon in both sides of metro tunnels. The pipe’s PPV is greater than the ground surface’s PPV. A mathematical model is established to predict the pipeline’s PPV based on the linear relationship between the pipeline and the ground surface. According to the correlation between PPV and von-Mises stress of gas pipeline, a mathematical model between the pipe’s von-Mises stress and distance is established to predict the pipeline’s safety, which can provide guidance for actual blasting engineering.
Damage localization in plate-like structure using built-in PZT sensor network
Liu, Xinglong,Zhou, Chengxu,Jiang, Zhongwei Techno-Press 2012 Smart Structures and Systems, An International Jou Vol.9 No.1
In this study, a Lamb-wave based damage detection approach is proposed for damage localization in plate. A sensor network consisting of three PZT wafer type actuators/sensors is used to generate and detect Lamb waves. To minimize the complication resulted from the multimode and dispersive characteristics of Lamb waves, the fundamental symmetric Lamb mode, $S_0$ is selectively generated through designing the excitation frequency of the narrowband input signal. A damage localization algorithm based upon the configuration of the PZT sensor network is developed. Time-frequency analysis method is applied to purify the raw signal and extract damage features. Experimental result obtained from aluminum plate verified the proposed damage localization approach.

An efficient single-emitting layer hybrid white organic light-emitting diode (WOLED) was developed, simultaneously fulfilling low efficiency roll-off, stable color and extreme luminance. At the practicalluminance of 1000 cd/m2, a total current efficiency of 42.8 cd/A and power efficiency of 19.2 lm/W areachieved, maintaining as high as 40.5 cd/A and 15.5 lm/W even at 5000 cd/m2. Besides, a slight colorvariation [(0.025, 0.011)] and extreme luminance ( 106 cd/m2) are obtained. The working mechanism isunveiled and it is demonstrated that the triplet-exciton-confining ability of electron transport layersplays a more vital role in device performances, particularly for the lifetime.

Saccharomyces cerevisiae (S. cerevisiae) and glucagon-like peptide-2 (GLP-2) have been employed to improve the intestinal development of weaned animals. The goal of this study was to determine whether either exogenous S. cerevisiae or GLP-2 elicits major effects on fecal microbiotas and cytokine responses in weaned piglets. Ninety-six piglets weaned at 26 days were assigned to one of four groups: 1) Basal diet (Control), 2) empty vector-harboring S. cerevisiae (EV-SC), 3) GLP-2-expressing S. cerevisiae (GLP2-SC), and 4) recombinant human GLP-2 (rh-GLP2). At the start of the post-weaning period (day 0), and at day 28, fecal samples were collected to assess the bacterial communities via sequencing the V1-V2 region of the 16SrRNA gene, and piglets’ blood was also sampled to measure cytokine responses (i.e., IL-1β, TNF-α, and IFN-γ). This study revealed that, on the one hand, although S. cerevisiae supplementation did not significantly alter the growth of weaned piglets, it induced increases in the relative abundances of two core genera (Ruminococcaceae_norank and Erysipelotrichaceae_norank) and decreases in the relative abundances of two other core genera (Lachnospiraceae_norank and Clostridiale_norank) and cytokine levels (IL-1β and TNF-α) (p < 0.05, Control vs EV-SC; p < 0.05, rh-GLP2 vs GLP2-SC). On the other hand, GLP-2 supplementation had no significant influence on fecal bacterial communities and cytokine levels, but it produced better body weight and average daily gain (p < 0.05, Control vs EV-SC; p < 0.05, rh-GLP2 vs GLP2-SC). Therefore, altered fecal microbiotas and cytokine response effects in weaned piglets were due to S. cerevisiae rather than GLP-2.
