In this study, the effects of dilution on the solidification cracking susceptibility of PTAW (Plasma Transferred Arc Welding) Inconel 625 and 718 overlay on Nimonic 80A were observed. In order to evaluate solidification cracking susceptibility, the Varestraint test was utilized. A possible mechanism of solidification cracking was suggested on the basis of microstructural examination and thermal analysis. The present study showed that the solidification cracking of the diluted Inconel 625 and 718 with Nimonic 80A was closely related to the solidification temperature range and the amount and distribution of γ/NbC and γ/Laves eutectic phases formed along the solidification grain boundaries. As dilution increased, the C/Nb ratio increased and the amount of eutectic phases decreased. In addition, the solidification temperature range decreased with increasing dilution in each overlay.

<P>We investigate the ballistic performance of monolayer indium selenide (InSe) n-type FETs, benchmarking with monolayer WS<SUB>2</SUB>, WSe<SUB>2</SUB>, and black phosphorus FETs. We utilize first-principles-based quantum transport simulations employing density functional theory and nonequilibrium Green’s function. The transfer characteristics, subthreshold swing, and drain-induced barrier lowering of InSe FETs are assessed and compared with those of the benchmarks. Our comparison of InSe FETs to the benchmark transistors reveals that InSe transistors are competitive in ON-state performance, but the short-channel effects in ultrascaled InSe FETs need to be suppressed. InSe FETs are favorable for high-performance applications rather than low power ones.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>The electrochemical properties on capacitive deionization (CDI) of carbon cloth in NaCl solution have been investigated. For KOH etched carbon cloth, hydroxyl and carbonyl functional groups have increased significantly, while carboxyl functional group has changed little with etching time. For HNO<SUB>3</SUB> treated carbon surface, carboxyl, carbonyl, and hydroxyl functional groups were produced considerably, and then slightly formed with etching time. From the evaluations of CDI process the carbon cloth electrodes etched in KOH or HNO<SUB>3</SUB> for 3h represent higher kinetic constants than that for the non-treated carbon cloth.</P>

본 논문에서는 동적임계값 연산을 통하여 입력된 영상의 움직임을 객체화하고 객체들의 다양한 행위의 움직임을 추적하는 방법으로 실시간 목적의 원격 감시를 제안하였다. 즉, 입력영상에서 매 프레임마다 움직이는 물체의 위치정보와 크기정보를 검색하여 움직이는 물체의 정보가 이상행동 인식으로 판단된 경우 PLC 통신과 연결하여 자동으로 감시되도록 효율적인 관리 및 방범 기능의 시스템이다. 제안된 방법은 안전성과 신뢰성을 극대화하였으며 실험을 통해 본 논문에서 제안한 방법의 타당성 검토를 위해 기존의 방법과 비교 분석하였으며 제안기법이 물체행위 인식 척도 면에서 더욱 나은 성능을 보이는 것을 검증하였다. 본 논문의 연구결과를 활용하여 이동물체에 더욱 효과적인 행위인식이 가능할 것이다.

Although recent pharmacological studies have demonstrated the beneficial effects of the ethanol extract of Diospyros kaki (EEDK) against eye diseases in vitro and in vivo, they could not conclude whether two strong antioxidants, quercetin and kaempferol, in the EEDK were bioavailable in eye tissue after oral administration. A method based on ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) was herein developed for the highly selective and sensitive quantification of quercetin and kaempferol in rat eye tissue. The method was applied to investigate the distribution of quercetin and kaempferol in rat eyes after oral administration of EEDK at 0, 5, and 35?min after it was successfully validated for specificity, linearity, a low limit of quantification, precision, accuracy, extraction recovery, and matrix effect. The distribution of quercetin and kaempferol in rat eyes at 35?min after oral administration of the EEDK was 0.0099% and 0.0041%, respectively. These results will be useful for the precise determination of optimized in vivo EEDK dose and time for the effective prevention and treatment of eye diseases.
