Teacher job satisfaction plays a key role in influencing a quality teaching workforce and student success. This article presented an analytical framework comprising teacher, classroom and school factors, and tested it by applying a three-level modeling technique with data drawn from 11 high-performing systems that participated in Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) 2013. The quantitative results show that: (1) at the teacher level, higher self-efficacy is associated with higher job satisfaction; more effective professional development and collaboration are associated with higher job satisfaction; mid-career teachers tend to be the least satisfied group compared with young and old teachers. (2) at the classroom level, teaching larger classes is associated with lower satisfaction, while teaching classes with higher percentage of low achievers or low socioeconomic students is associated with lower satisfaction; (3) at the school level, student-teacher relationship is significantly positively associated with job satisfaction. The article concludes with implications for policy makers and educators across countries.

Cermet application is extensive because it retains the characteristics of ceramic materials and has the advantages of metalmaterials. In this paper, alumina/aluminum cermet materials were prepared through powder metallurgy method. Theinfluence of raw material formula on the properties of alumina/aluminum cermet was investigated on the basis that ceramicmaterials have good wear resistance and high thermal conductivity. Results show that when the mass ratio of alumina toaluminum is 1:3, the prepared cermet samples have excellent properties, highest density, and uniform distribution ofaluminum and alumina. MgO addition exhibits better effect, higher degree of densification, and renders higher hardness andstrength for the sample as compared with SiO2 and Y2O3 addition. The sintered cermet with composite powder prepared viaprecipitation has better properties and higher densities and surface hardness than that prepared via the ball mill method. Therelative density was 97.1%, surface hardness was 875 HV, and electric resistance was 0.0169 Ω·m.
Distribution Method of Automotive Torque for Hub Motor Considering Energy Consumption Optimization
Wu Shi,Li Yipeng,Guan Yibo,Liu Taorui,Che CuiRu 한국자동차공학회 2023 International journal of automotive technology Vol.24 No.3
To optimize the torque distribution of each drive wheel of a distributed In-wheel motor car, this paper proposes an in-wheel motor torque distribution method to consider the energy consumption and slip loss of the motor. First, a torque distribution model is established based on the improved quantum genetic algorithm of the disaster operation. Under NEDC operating conditions, the energy consumption of the in-wheel motor based on the torque distribution method of the improved quantum genetic algorithm is reduced by 11.62 % compared with that of the torque equivalent distribution method and 3.94 % compared with that optimized by the genetic algorithm. Finally, based on the in-wheel motor test bench, the motor torque and the battery SOC curve of the wheel motor under the NEDC condition and UDDS operating conditions are obtained. Experimental results show that the torque distribution method based on the improved quantum genetic algorithm can effectively reduce energy consumption, and it performs better than the ordinary genetic algorithm. Also, the energy consumption optimization effect is the most significant under NEDC conditions, with an energy consumption 11.4 % lower than that of the torque equivalent distribution method and 3.8 % lower than that of the genetic algorithm optimization distribution method.
Unknown Input Observer Design for Takagi-Sugeno Systems with Fuzzy Output Equation
Jitao Li,Zhenhua Wang,Yi Shen,Yipeng Liu 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2019 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.17 No.1
This paper studies unknown input observer design for discrete-time Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems. Theproposed unknown input observer has a new structure that can be applied to Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems withnonlinear output equation. We derive the design conditions of the proposed unknown input observer based onLyapunov function and convert them into a set of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical simulations of a vehiclelateral dynamics are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Signaling lymphocyte activation molecule (SLAM; also known as CD150) is a newly identified cellular receptor for measles virus (MV). The interaction between MV Haemagglutin (MVH) and SLAM is an initial step for MV entry. We have identified several novel SLAM binding sites at residues S429, T436 and H437 of MVH protein and MVH mutants in these residues dramatically decrease the ability to interaction with the cell surface SLAM and fail to co-precipitation with SLAM in vivo as well as malfunction in syncytium formation. At the same time, K58, S59 and H61 of SLAM was also identified to be critical for MVH and SLAM binding. Further, these residues may be useful targets for the development of measles therapy.
Improved Meet-in-the-Middle Attacks on Crypton and mCrypton
( Jingyi Cui ),( Jiansheng Guo ),( Yanyan Huang ),( Yipeng Liu ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2017 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.11 No.5
Crypton is a SP-network block cipher that attracts much attention because of its excellent performance on hardware. Based on Crypton, mCrypton is designed as a lightweight block cipher suitable for Internet of Things (IoT) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). The security of Crypton and mCrypton under meet-in-the-middle attack is analyzed in this paper. By analyzing the differential properties of cell permutation, several differential characteristics are introduced to construct generalized δ-sets. With the usage of a generalized δ-set and differential enumeration technique, a 6-round meet-in-the-middle distinguisher is proposed to give the first meet-in-the-middle attack on 9-round Crypton-192 and some improvements on the cryptanalysis of 10-round Crypton-256 are given. Combined with the properties of nibble permutation and substitution, an improved meet-in-the-middle attack on 8-round mCrypton is proposed and the first complete attack on 9-round mCrypton-96 is proposed.

For measles viruses, fusion on the cell membrane is an important initial step in the entry into the infected cells. The recent research indicated that hemagglutinin firstly leads the conformational changes in the fusion protein then co-mediates the membrane fusion. In the work, we use the co-immunoprecipitation and pull-down techniques to identify the interactions among fusion protein, hemagglutinin and signaling lymphocyte activation molecule (SLAM), which reveal that the three proteins can form a functional complex to mediate the SLAM-dependent fusion. Moreover, under the confocal microscope, fusion protein and hemagglutinin protein can show the cocapping mediated by the SLAM. So fusion protein not only is involved in the fusion but also might directly interact with the SLAM to be a new fusion-trimer model, which might account for the infection mechanism of measles virus.
