      • 慶南 梅里 鐵鑛床 附近 馬山岩의 酸素同位元素 硏究

        Masanite is the latest granite among Cretaceous granites of Korea, and the rock is recognized as the relevant igneous rock of most ore deposits in Gyeongnam Province. Oxygen isotope analyses of quartz and k-feldspar ; an coexisting mineral pair of Masanite in the vicinity of Maeri iron ore deposits, Gyeongnam Province, were conducted to provide the information on the formation temperature and the origin of Masanite. σO¹8 values of quartz and K-feldspar are + 6.31 ‰ and + 5.32 ‰ respectively. Formation temperature and σO¹8 Hγο values of Masanite are about 717℃ and + 5.83‰ respectively.

        Within amphibole domains, there is a significant decrease in unit-cell content of Al with increasing SiO₂ content. Decrease in Na₂O₂, K₂O and TiO₂ are conspiccuously related to decrease in Al₂O₃. The compositional trends measured in amphiboles is interpreted as reflecting crystallization under progressively more oxidizing condition. The average Fe/(Fe+Mg) for amphiboles changes from 0.76 in hornblende granite to 0.52 in porphyrytic granite and from 0.57 in monzonite to 0.29 in granodiorite. In Kimhae area, the oxidation ratio and fo₂ of porphyritic granite are higher than those of hornblende granite. In Finnmarka area, those of granodiorite are higher than those of monzonite. The chemical composition of the amphiboles of porphyrytic granite and monzonite is hornblende, that of hornblende granite is ferrohastingitic hornblende, and that of monzonite is edenitic hornblende. It is supposed that porphyrytic granite and granodiorite were crystal lized in low temperature, high fo₂ and post magmatic environment compare to hornblende granite and monzonite.

      • 忠南 珍山 地域 螢石 鑛床의 流體包有物에 관한 硏究

        Most of the fluorite ore deposits in Kumsan district occur in the Chinsan area. Specifically, these are the Okgye, Hyongyang, Ilyang, Manak fluorite ore deposits. Field survey and fluid inclusion study were undertaken to illustrate the characters and origin of the fluorite ore deposits in Chinsan area. The results of this study are as follows; Gology of the Chinsan area is composed of Majonri Formation and Changri Fomation which belong to Okchon Group and Jurassic biotite granite and Cretaceous pink feldspar granite and quartz porphyry. The wall rock of fluorite ore deposits in Chinsan area are chiefly limestone in Majonri Formation and partly limestone in Changri Formation. The relevent igneous rocks of the fluorite ore deposits are chiefly quartz porphyry, but some are biotite granite or pinkfeldspar granite. The fluorite ore deposits in this area are chiefly contact metasomatic deposits which were formed while limestones were intruded by quartz porphyry, biotite granite and pink feldspar granite. The filling degrees of fluid inclusions in fluorite ranges 84∼95% in Okgye, 85∼95% in Hyongyang, 85∼91% in Ilyang, 92∼96% in Manak ore deposits. The salinity (NaCl equivalent weight percent) ranges 0.1∼1.5wt.% in Hyongyang. 0.3∼2.8wt.% in Ilyang. 0∼1.5wt.% in Manak ore deposits. The homogenization temperature of fluorite ore deposits in Chinsan area ranges 97.6∼191.6C in Okgye, 99∼168.4C in Hyongyang. 100∼214C in Ilyang, 122∼248.6C in Okgye, 99∼168.4C in Hyongyang, 100∼214C in Ilyang, 122∼248.6C in Manak ore deposits. These data indicate that Chinsan Fluorite ore deposits belong to the epithemal or mesothemal deposits same as the other fluorite ore deposits in Korea.

      • 薏苡仁의 投與가 마우스의 細胞性 및 體液性 免疫機能에 미치는 影響

        Coicis Semen is one of the oriental medicine that has been used for the treatment of the disease such as pulmonary abscess, periappendicular abscess and wart since ancient times. However, the mechanism of the action of the drug is not well studied. This study was done to investigate the effects of Coicis Semen on the host defense mechanism. Effects of Coicis Semen on the immune responses were analyzed by measuring the contact gypersensitivity, hemagglutinin, hemolysin and rosette formation, cytotoxicity, and reactive oxygen intermidiates production. As the results, water extract of Coicis Semen administration enhanced the antibodies (hemagglutinin and hemolysin) formation and the appearance of rosette forming cells of the spleen. Also Coicis Semen increased the allogeneic immune response in the mouse, showed cytotoxic activity against human leukemia cell line(K562) and decreased the contact hypersensitivity against dinitroflurobenzene. Also administration of Coicis Semen slightly increased NK cell activity and enhanced the production of such reactive oxygen intermidiates as superoxide and hydrogen peroxide from the macrophages in vivo and in vitro. The above results demonstrate that Coicis Semen has enhancing effects on cellular and humoral immune responses against disease.

      • 公州地域 野外地質實習資料 開發 및 指導方案에 關한 硏究

        According to anaiyses of earth science curricula and textbooks for elemantary, middle and high school(Table 1∼8), it is clear that the effective learnings about the important factors in geologic part such as minerals, rocks, weathering, erosion, transportation, deposition, geologic structure, strata, fossils, geologic survey and ore deposits, can be obtained through the field work investigation. In the Kongju area, various types of igneous, sedimentary and matanmorphic rocks are distributed, so there are plenty of the various field geologic practical materials. Therefore Kongju area is the suitable place for the developments of field geologic practical courses(Figure 1). In our present school circumstance, it is difficult that the field geologic time is especially shared. Therefore it is desirable that the field geologic practical work is concurrently acted in the chance of the annual school functions such as picnic and camping. So the field geologic practical courses developed here are the adequate place for picnics and campings.

        In the paper, a vector control method for a AC-excited BLSM(Brushless Synchronous Motor) is proposed. The BLSM has a feature that separate exciter is not needed for excitation. The proposed method is described in two parts as follow, one is the design of drive and the other is a modeling for its imlpementation. Rotor flux is estimated using inditect sensing method based on voltage equation in the synchronously rotation reference frame. And rotor position os calculated from rotor angular velocity and stator current. Through computer simulation results of this prorosed system, it is shown that the BLSM drive has a ability of precision torque control from the static and dynamic performances.

      • 우리나라 現行 高等學校 地球科學 敎科書의 實驗에 對한 分析 硏究

        For the guide to the inquiry learning of the Korean high school earth science education, the experiments of the earth science must be carried out as much as possible in the educational spot. By the analysis and the comparison on the experiments in the present four earth science text books of the high school in Korea and the ESCP earth science text book (Investigating the Earth), the ratios of the experiments of the present four earth science text books to the ESCP textbook range from 16.4% to 31.5% and the ratio of total four text books is about 65.8%. The above data imply that the inquiry learning of the Korean high school earth science education is doubtful. For the inquiry learning of the earth science education, the teachers must carry out all the experiments (48 items) in the present four text books and fill up vacancies from the ESCP experiments etc. Also all the experiments in the present four earth science text books were actually put into operation and some defects and ambiguities of the experiment processes are pointed out. Finally improvable suggestions for the experiments are presented.

      • 충남 비봉사문석광상 일대에 분포하는 초염기성암체의 변질작용

        비봉사문석광상의 초염기성암은 주로 사문암이고, 소량의 사문암기원의 활석과 석면이 포함된다. 이 사문암은 크게 I, II 및 III형으로 구분된다. I 형으로부터 III형까지의 순서는 사문석화작용의 일반적인 진행방향이고, 이 사문암은 해즈버자이트와 같은 맨틀기원 초염기성암의 사문석화작용으로, 그리고 주요 활석화작용은 사문암과 편마암 또는 페그마타이트 간의 경계부 그리고 사문암내 열극들을 따르는 사문석의 열수변질작용에 의하여 형성되었다고 해석된다. The ultramafic rocks in the Beebong serpentine ore deposits are composed mainly of serpentinite, and have small amount of talc and asbestos originated from serpentinite. The serpentinite are largely divided into three rock types of I, II and III. It is analysed that the order from I to III is the general trend of serpentinization and the serpentinite have been formed by serpentinization of the mantle origin ultramafic rock such as harzburgite, and major steatitization have been formed by hydrothermal alteration of serpentine through the boundary cracks between serpentinite and gneiss or pegmatite, and fissures in serpentinite.

      • 忠南 飛鳳蛇紋石鑛床 蛇紋岩의 起源岩과 蛇紋石化作用

        비봉사문석광상의 사문암들은 주로 사문석으로 구성되어 있으며 이 밖에 소량의 감람석, 휘석, 감섬석, 자철석, 크롬철석, 녹니석, 금운모 및 활석을 포함한다. 감람석과 휘석은 그 결정경계나 결정내의 간극을 따라 사문석화가 진행되므로 기원암의 잔류광물이다. 이 사문암을 엽리와 반상변정의 발달정도에 따라 구분해 보면 8개군으로 나뉘고, 사문석화작용은 엽리와 반상변정이 잘 발달된 것에서 미약해지는 방향으로 진행된다. 사문석은 가상조직은 망상조직 및 아우어글래스조직과 비가상조직인 관통조직 및 결합조직을 가지며, 사문석화가 진행됨에 따라 사문석의 조직은 가상조직에서 비가상조직으로 변화한다. 사문암은 주고 SiO₂(35.91∼39.81 wt.%, 평균37.84 wt.%)와 MgO(39.84∼41.23 wt.%, 평균40.67 wt.%)로 구성되어 있으며 소량의 Fe₂O₃(6.06∼8.87wt.%, 평균7.41wt.%)를 포함한다. 미량성분으로는 특히 Cr(>1100ppm)과 Ni(>1660ppm)이 많다. 이 값들은 McDonough(1990)가 제시한 전세계 감람암의 평균치와 유사하고, 이 사문암의 회토류원소 분석치를 원시맨틀값으로 표준화한 자료에 의하면, 비교적 사문석화가 덜 된 것은 1에 접근하므로 그 기원암은 맨틀기원의 초염기성암이다. 이 사문암의 기원암은 알파인형 맨틀기원의 초염기성암인 더나이트, 헤즈버자이트 및 레조라이트였고 기원암으로부터의 주 사문석화작용은 이 지역 주변암이 받은 녹색편암상 내지 각섬암상의 광역변성작용시에 일어났다고 해석된다. Serpentinites of Beebong serpentine ore deposits are composed mainly of serpentines with some olivine, pyroxene, amphibole, magnetite, chromite, talc, chlorite and phlogopite. Olivines and pyroxenes were serpentinized along the crystal boundaries and/or cracks in the crystals. It means that olivine and pyroxene are relict minerals of original ultramafic rocks. These serpentinites are subdivided 8 groups according to the degree of foliation and content of porphyroblast, and the serpentinization were progressed from the developed foliation and porphyroblast to the weaked. Serpentines have pseudomorphic texture such as mesh and hourglass texture, and non-pseudomorphic texture such as interpenerating and interlocking texture, The pseudomorphic texture are changed to the non-pseudomorphic texture along the progress of sepentinization. The serpentinites have high SiO₂(35.91~39.81 wt%, av.37.84 wt.%) and Mg0(39.37~42.72wt%, av.40.67wt%) with small amount Fe₂O₃^(*)(6.06~8.87wt%, av.7.41 wt.%) and have high Cr(>1100ppm) and Ni(>1660ppm) in minor elements. These values are similar to the data of whole world average peridotites(McDonough, 1990). Because the standardized REE data of less serpentinized serpentinites by primitive mantle values are nearly 1, the original rock of these serpentinites are considered as the mantle origin ultramafic rock. It is considered that the original rocks of these serpentinites was mantle origin alpine type ultrarnafic rocks such as dunite, harzburgite and lherzolite and the main serpentinization from these original rocks was formed by the regional metamorphism of greenschist to amphibolite metamorphic facies.
