아조벤젠 그룹을 포함한 측쇄형 고분자 필름(PDR1)에서 광 유도된 이방성을 실시간적으로 조사하였다. 수평, 수직한 흡수율의 변화를 광 유도된 복굴절의 기록, 감쇠, 소거, 완화 과정에 따라 측정하여, 매질 내의 아조벤젠 분자의 정렬상태와 복굴절과의 관계를 광 이성화과정으로 설명하였다. 또한 기록빔의 세기를 따른 수직, 수평한 흡수율의 변화와 유도된 복굴절의 관계를 조사하였다. The photo-induced anisotropy for a polymeric film(PDR1) containing azobenzene group as side-chain was investigated dynamically. The change of absrobances with parallel and perpendicular components was measured in recording, decaying, erasing and relaxation processes of photo-induced birefringence, so the relation between the alignment of azobenzene groups and the birefringence was well explained according to the photo-isomerization. Also, the dependence of the photo-induced birefringence on intensity of recording beam was investigated with changes of both absorbance and birefringence.

<P><B>Purpose</B></P><P>To assess the clinical utility of laparoendoscopic single-site surgery (LESS) nephrectomy using a modified umbilical incision and home-made transumbilical port in cases requiring extirpative surgery.</P><P><B>Materials and Methods</B></P><P>Initial consecutive 18 patients underwent LESS nephrectomies that were performed by a single surgeon. A home-made port was placed through a modified umbilical incision, the length of which had preoperatively been determined. The laparoscopic transperitoneal nephrectomy procedures were performed with various combinations of standard and articulating laparoscopic instruments. Patient characteristics and perioperative outcomes, including pathologic results, were recorded prospectively.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>All 18 extirpative surgeries, including simple nephrectomy (eight cases), radical nephrectomy (nine cases), and nephroureterectomy (one case), were completed successfully. The median operation time was 167 min (range 82-220), and the median blood loss was 250 mL (range 0-1050). All specimens were extracted intact through a modified umbilical incision (median length 2.5 cm, range 1.5-6.0). Final pathological analysis revealed a nonfunctioning kidney in five cases, a dysplastic kidney in three cases, a mixed epithelial and stromal tumor in one case, renal cell carcinoma in eight cases (T1: five cases, T3: three cases), and Ta ureter transitional cell carcinoma in one case.</P><P><B>Conclusion</B></P><P>LESS nephrectomy using a home-made port and modified umbilical incision is feasible with both minimal incision and cost-effective. Our technique may be more useful for extirpative procedures in which a specimen needs to be removed intact, because incision length can be freely adjusted. Prospective comparisons are warranted to more clearly elucidate the utility of this surgical technique.</P>
Exploration for the Playfulness of Horse-Riding -Focused on Roger Caillois`s theory of Play-

Purpose: This study aimed to explain the ``fun`` factor inherent in horse-riding based on Roger Caillois``s theory of play and to explain the importance of enjoyment of the horse-riding culture based on play. Method: To attain the goal of this study, it employed both an investigation into previous studies and the qualitative research in forms of in-depth interview and participant observation with a focus on Roger Caillois``s theory of play. To shed light on an aspect of the culture of currently enjoying the horse-riding sport, this study selected a total of 22 persons composed of 12 students belonging to the horse-riding club in ``S`` University located in Seoul, and 10 members and persons concerned of the ``T`` horse-riding club located in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, as this research subjects and participants. Data were collected from them through participant observation and in-depth interview over the period between Dec 28, 2014 and Apr 30, 2015. The method of content analysis was used to analyze the collected data, which were categorized according to four classification systems of play presented by Roger Caillois. Result: Roger Caillois divided play into Agon, Mimicry, Alea, Ilix on the basis of presence or absence of the rule and the volition. In the classification of these four types of play, the activity to which the participant in this study gave the highest meaning was Agon, namely, concentration on the sporting play that they wanted to have their excellence recognized through relative competition. This is based on the lesson curriculum of the horse-riding club, which is not different from our sports culture focusing the orientation of all physical activities on the maxization of competitive performance. On the one hand, it was found that another ``fun`` factor was Ilix, namely, getting away from the pattern of structured stable thinking in a daily life and feeling the momentary thrill. This is said to be the enjoyment that the advanced persons of high horse-riding skills largely comes to experience, as the enjoyment that those enjoying the horse-riding sport feel in jumping over the high hurdle and in experiencing the canter or the extended full-pace gallop. Finally, the research participants were aspiring for the ``Mimicry`` factor of horse-riding. Mimicry that means that horse riders get involved in the scene of play and get away from their daily selves is interpreted as the result of reflecting contemporary people``s psychological desire to ride on a horse back and return to the primitive state. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that most of the research participants enjoyed the playfulness concentrated in the ``Agon`` factor of horse-riding. And it was found that the horse riders could at length experience the ``Ilix`` factor when they became the advanced rider through this series of horse-riding process. But it is thought that the authenticity of enjoying horse-riding consists in ``Mimicry`` in the horse-riding sport of sharing sympathy with the living organism. Therefore, it can be said that the program for implementing ``Mimicry``, namely, a new approach such as exploration, trekking, travelling and the like of being with the horse outdoors is required for the purpose of popular diffusion of horse-riding.

This study attempted to interpret the tactical method and meaning found in the process of choreographic composition by the national leaders and athletes of aerobic gymnastics. For this purpose, it conducted the qualitative research for five national leaders and five national athletes. As a result, the following findings were obtained: First, they adopted ‘familiar enjoyment’ as the tactical method to choose the subject at the first stage of work composition. Second, they attempted to find ‘strange enjoyment’ in ‘familiar enjoyment’ as the tactical method to embody the subject of work at the 2nd stage of work composition. Third, they used ‘highest choice’ as the tactical method in the process of completing the primary choreography at the third stage of work composition. Fourth, they completed the modification-stage choreography as the final one by using the ‘best choice’ as the tactical method at the fourth stage of work composition. The above-mentioned results showed the concrete and systematical process of subjective and individual choreographic composition. This study has its significance in that it provides the leaders and athletes of aerobic gymnastics with guiding information in composing the choreography of high completeness.
Ku대역 모노펄스 위성추적을 위한 동축구조 도파관 고차모드 커플러 설계

본 논문은 Ku대역 모노펄스 위성추적을 위한 동축구조 도파관 고차모드 커플러를 제안하였다. 제안된 고차모드 커플러는 이동체 탑재용 위성추적시스템에 적용 가능하도록 소형/경량화를 위하여 동축구조의 도파관을 이용하였다. 기본모드 신호 추출을 위해 내측 원형도파관을 이용하였고, 고차모드 신호 추출을 위해 외측 원형도파관에 내어진 4개의 슬롯과 스텝 구조의 직사각형 도파관을 이용하였다. 제안된 고차모드 커플러의 모의실험 결과는 반사손실 및 삽입손실이 약 250 MHz의 대역폭(12.75∼13.00 GHz)을 만족하며, 모노펄스 추적에 적용 가능한 기본모드 패턴 및 고차모드 패턴이 만족스럽게 생성된 결과를 확인하였다. 제안된 Ku대역 동축구조 도파관 고차모드 커플러는 고속 정밀추적이 요구되는 모노펄스 위성추적시스템에 이용될 것으로 기대된다. In this paper, a higher-order mode coupler using coaxial-structure waveguide for Ku-band monopulse satellite tracking is proposed. The proposed higher-order mode coupler is built in a coaxial structure for compactness and weight reduction, making it suitable for mobile tracking systems. The inner circular waveguide of coaxial-structure is used to extract the fundamental mode signal and the high-order mode signal is extracted from the four slots of the outer circular waveguide and then transmitted via given stepped rectangular waveguide structure. The simulated results show that proposed higher-order mode coupler covers 250 MHz(12.75 GHz ~ 13.00 GHz) bandwidth with return loss and insertion loss characteristics. The antenna patterns of fundamental mode and higher-order mode applicable to monopulse tracking are generated successfully. Designed higher-order mode coupler using coaxial waveguide structure for Ku-band is expected to be used for high precision monopulse satellite tracking systems.
