        1. For the development of stock farming in Korea, these things are to be remembered: the cultivation of imported forage crops was already tried out 50 or 60 years ago and, even if the result of cultivation was good, it did not mean the green signal for stock farming, because the stock farming can be developed only when, with the rise of the standard of living, the people demand great quantity of meat for their vital food. 2. Lespedeza, which is of korean origin, was exported to U.S.A. and cultivated widely as an important forage crops. In Korea, however, lespedeza can't be used economically as a forage crop, because difficulties in the establishment of grass land, as Korea is mountainous and lacks great plain and full of various weeds. 3. To see if pangola grass, which is very prolific and fast growing and one of the worst weed for cultivation of upland crops in Korea, but a favorite for livestocks, can be used forage crops, and its reaction against fertilizer, I fertilized the grass. The results: the grass. multiplies five times as compared to being unfertilized and reacts more favorable to three-element fertitizer than to one-element fertilizer. 4. When the seedlings of pangola grass are planted unfertilized, they lose their characteristic crawing habit and stnand upright, but, with enought nourishment, they regained the habit and the effect of the fertilizer on the grass is more remarkable than other crops.

        The present study examined the mediating effects of trust in parents between parenting style and anxiety and depression. The 1929 freshmen(male 848, female 1037) took part in the present study. It was found that trust in parents work as a mediator between parenting style and anxiety and depression.

        Yeok·Cham Settlement was in charge of the correspondence and official material transportation as a traffic settlement of Yi Dynasty. The purpose of this study is to analyze the distribution and location on Yeok·Cham as a traffic settlement. The distribution has been grasped by region and port route, and the location has been analyzed by nature and civilization respectively. Therefore, The different point from the general settlement has been mentioned. The basic data of this study have been due to the Dae Dong Yeo Map. The distribution map has been made according to the 517 YeoK·Cham which appeared on Dae Dong Yeo Map as a base and the distribution and location have been analyzed by the above basic information. The result of this study has been abbreviated as follows: 1. By Do-province the majority of the Yeok·Cham distribution provinces are Gyeongsang-do, Gangweon-do, and the minority of YeoK·Cham distribution provinces are Hwanghae-do, Pyeongan-do, and Gyeonggi-do. Such differences are due to the correspondence business or the official material transportation in some respect. 2. The characteristic of distribution by locality is to make the linear pattern along the coast line on the mountainous district in north-east part, but the evenly spaced over-all pattern has been established on the plain district in south-west part. 3. The distance between Yeok·Chams has been established based on 30 ri on foot a day, but in accordance with the measurement at this study, it was 44 ri in average on the principal line of nine big roads, and 58 ri in average on the branch line. This is shorter in distance comparing with that of 200 ri in Rome by means of horse ride, and 80 ri in Japan based on foot a day. The narrow roads under 40 ri of distance between Yeok·Cham out of nine big roads are Ⅰ big road, Ⅲ big road, Ⅳ big road, and Ⅴ big road, and the wide roads over 50ri are Ⅱ big road, Ⅷ big road, and Ⅸ big road. And this difference is reflected by the degree of the importance of big road. 4. The natural location of Yeok·Cham has been devided into plain, rivers, mountains, valleys, and ridges. The plain location is 37% at the most, which can be found in many of the plains districts near Seoul. This distribution shows that the general settlement is different from the point of adherence to farming land. The number of river location is 19%, mountain location 22%, valley location 16% can be found in many mountainous district. In Yeok·Cham settlement, rivers and mountains have been a hindrance of carrying out the traffic duties. That is way the Yeok·Cham settlement has been established. Mountain pass location 6% has been distributed at hills in southern part more than high mountains in northern part. 5. The attention at the position of Yeok·Cham's relative location is that the existing cities·towns, and Cities·twons, are principal element in the establishment of Yeok·Chem. The one thirds of total have come to be within 10ri from the cities·twons.

      • CROSS형 ABS 센서 개발에 관한 연구

        Antilock Brake Sysytem(ABS) si the device for getting the braking force and the cornering force of the car. The ABS sensor consists of a permanent magnet and pickup coil. When the rotor and the sensor changes, The air gap between the rotor and the sensor changes. This disturbs the magnetic flux emanating from the permanent magnet and generates ac voltage in the pickup coil. The frequency fo this ac voltage changes with the speed of rotation, and in this way the system is able to measure the rotation speed of the wheel. The purpose of this report is to describe a development method of a new type sensor after analyzing two kinds of typical sensors.

        From the point of vew of the constitutive relations, electromagnetic waves are studied, with attention given to the behavior inside media that are lenear and isotropic. In describing physical laws of nature, equation are form invariant with respect to uniformly moving observers are called Lorentz covariant. Written in tensor notation, both Maxwell equations and constitutive relations are manifestly covariant. The Lorentz covariant description of the constitutive relations is called bianisotropic. The transformation of field quantities and the constitutive relations from one frame to another is derived from Loretz transformation for 4-dimmension space. Isotropic media, when viewed from a moving frame, became bianisotropic. Problems involving one moving medium can usually be solved in the rest frame of teh medium, with results transformed back to the observers rame of reference. As the final result, we have, the conductivity variation rates are r, the permittivity variation rates are determined by (83), and the permeability variation rates are determined by(84).

      • 단수수 品種의 特性 및 相關에 關한 硏究

        Eight sweet sorghum varieties, 6 from United States and 2 from Japan, were introduced to select a higher yielding variety with high sugar content, high Brix percentage and better stem yield. Cultivation of these varieties was done at the field of Crop Experiment Station, O. R. D. in Suwon. From the data obtained in this study the following summary can be drawn. 1. All the varieties were observed to be highly adapable to the natural condition of Korea. Considering the trend in Brix percentage, 4% of Brix was measured at the stage of 70 days after seeding and there was a constant accumulation of sugar in plant, hereafter. The highest sugar content was observed on 40 days after heading but soon the sugar content kept decreasing. 2. At the early stage of 70 days after seeding, lower nodes showed higher sugar content than upper nodes but conversely at the medium stage, lower nodes from 1st to 4th one showed lower sugar content. Among these lower nodes, 2nd 3rd node was relatively lower than 1st node, and from the 4th node, there was an increase in sugar content with highest percentage at 6th, 7th and 8th node. Upper part above the 8th node indicated a decrease in the sugar contnet. 3. Correlation between Brix percentage and main quantitative characters were computed as follow; between the length of upper node and Brix, r=-0.981^*, which is significant negative correlation, and regression equation was Y=95,000-1,000X. Heading date vs Brix percentage r=0.738^*, Y=0.937Y-56,600, fresh stem weight, vs Brix percentage, r=0.737^*, Y=1.340X-316.110, sucrose content in stem vs Brix percentage, r=0.745^*, Y=1.095X-6.400. Thus, it is concluded that to select the plant with high Brix percentage and sugar content the relatively late maturing individuals with short internode in upper part and heavy fresh stem should be chosen. 4. Among the eight varieties tested, HC6028II-4, Rex orange and Ames amber were high in Birx percentage, crystalizable sucrose and purity percentage, and above varieties are considered to be sugar type. In the other hand, Tracy, Rurier Var-1, Red amber, Early sumac and Chinese amber showed high stem yield and relatively high Brix percentage but they are inferior in sugar content and purity percentage, which makes these varieties syrup type. Eight sweet sorghum varieties, 6 from United States and 2 from Japan, were introduced to select a higher yielding variety withhigh sugar content, high Brix percentage and better stem yield. It was observed that all the varietiesare highly adaptable to the natural condition of Korea. Accumulation of sugar in plant was begining at the stage of after heading, and the highest sugar content was observed 40 days after heading. The nodes of 6th, 7th and 8th showed the highest sugar content percentage and upper part above the 8th node showed a decrease inithe sugar content. Among eight varleties tested, the percentage of crystaizable sucrose in stem of HC6028II-4, Rex orange and Ames amber were 16. 84, 14. 14 and 11. 68, respectively and the percentage of the varieties was higher than those of other varieties. Correlations between Brix percentage and main quantitative characters were as follows: heading datevs Brix, r=0.738^*, fresh stem weight vs Brix, r=0.737^*, between the length of upper node and Brix, r=-0.981^*, sucrose content vs Brix, r=0.745.^*

        Origins of welfarism are Utilitarianism, Fabianism, Democratic Socialism, Revised Capitalism, Beveridge Report, Bismarck's social policy and so on. The origin of Revised Capitalism contains such as Neo Classicism, Neo Liberalism, Keynesianism, New Deal policy etc. Welfarism includes democracy and it emphasizes Economic Democracy, Industrial Democracy, Property owning Democracy, Capital owning Democracy, Grassrroots Democracy, Technical and Informative Democracy. Welfarism includes Social Solidarism. Social Solidarism includes cooperative spirit, philanthropy and Community Consciousness. Social Solidarism is realized by progressive taxation, cooperative association enterprises, Social Security policy, corporate policy etc. Welfarism includes pacifism. Pacifism means peaceful condition and mind peace. Warfare State is not= the Welfare State and dictatorial government can not ensure mind peace of the people. Wefarism favors mixed economy. Mixed economism means Social Market Capitalism. It is realized by moderate state intervention to economic sphere. Welfare includes Amenitism and Amenitism is guaranteed by maintaining amenity life. Welfarism means Felicitism and it also means Optimalism. Optimal life is guaranteed by elevating Quality of Life. Welfarism contains Humanism. Science of Welfare is a science of giving as well as science of man. Welfarism includes Social Securitism. Social security policy is very important in welfare state. Welfarism emphathizes full employment, and welfare state should guarantee the maximum conditional life of every person. Welfarism will be strengthened by Corporatism. In Welfare State, it is often said that workers do not work hard because the government guarantees every person's living and it is often said that in welfare state rich people dislike to run companies because the government imposes much amount of progressive tax to them. Therefore, the welfare state should guarantee every person's economic freedom and private property right, and the state should strengthen tile material incentive of the people by ensuring the right of pursuit of self interest to ervery person.

      • 原子爐 壓力容器鋼의 破壞靭性 評價試驗法에 關한 硏究

        The evaluation of embrittlement of nuclear reactor pressure vessel must be exactly developed because the feasibility of irradiation embrittlement of reactor pressure vessel steel is increased owing to irradiation of neutron during service operation. In assessing the structural integrity of the pressure vessel, useful approaches, such as a nuclear reactor surveillance test,are provided. A new fracture toughness parameter K_c^* was recently introduced by K. Date, H. Takahashi, M. Suzuki as an measure of the elastic-plastic fracture condition, based on the critical plastic strain energy concept. In this report, the effects of specimen geometry, using the new parameter K_c^*, and the applicability of that criterion to a small size specimen, were investigated experimentally for evaluating the fracture toughness of reactor pressure vessel steels, such as unirradiated high tensile steel and mild steel, first of all. The results investigated are summarized as follows : It is verified experimentally that a new parameter K_c^* for assessing the plain strain fracture toughness is available to evaluate the fracture toughness in small size specimens failed after general yielding. Half size Charpy specimens can be adopted for the nuclear reactor surveillance test because the parameter K_c^* of half size specimens has same value as K_c^* of standard Charpy specimens without regard to specimen geometry and notch acuity.

        The assessment of the toe HAZ fracture toughness is one of the most troublesome problems to resolve because the fracture toughness depends to a large extent upon microstructural gradients such as variations of the microstructure and the grain size in the HAZ and because such microstructural characteristics are directly influenced by the thermal cycle during welding. The aim of the present study is to classify metallurgically the distribution of the constituents of microstructure in the HAZ by measuring Vickers microhardness. The metallurgical observation and microhardness measurement for the toe HAZ of 60㎏/㎟ low alloy steel, which was submerged are welded as bead-on-plate, were carried out. The experimental results were summarized as follows; There is a linear relationship between the ratio of hardness Hv/(Hv)_M (Hv:Vickers hardness, (Hv)_M : Vickers hardness of 100% martensite) and the area percentage of their structural constituents, and it is independent on chemical composition of materials. It was concluded, consequently, that the transformation behavior for the structure of other 60㎏/㎟ low alloy steel in the HAZ and the ratio of mixture of structural constituents in its every position can be quantitatively classified by the ratio of microhardness Hv/(Hv)_M.
