The posttraumatic complications of jaw fractures related to jaw function and facial deformity include nonunion, malunion, malocclusion, temporomandibular joint dysfunction and facial asymmetry. This report presents cases referred to our department for revision of malunion and malocclusion following inadequate reduction of jaw fractures. Three patients with posttraumatic malocclusions caused by malunion were treated with a LeFort I osteotomy in one case and re-fracture in two cases. All of the patients exhibited stable results without further complications (e.g., malunion or malocclusion). Accurate preoperative diagnosis and proper anatomical reduction of the fracture segments are essential to preventing post-surgical malunion and malocclusion.

Improvement of an analytical method on 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP), a plant growth regulator, and a first-generation synthetic cytokinin for agricultural commodities was undertaken. Analytical method for BAP in the agricultural commodities by gas chromatography in cooperation with nitrogen-phosphorous detector (NPD) was adopted. BAP was extracted with acetone in all samples followed by the ion-associated partitioning method. Vapor pressure of BAP was increased by N-methylation with iodide methane [BAP${\rightarrow}$6-Benzylamino-N-methylpurine (BAMP)]. Finally, N-methylated BAMP was separated with ethylacetate. The quantitation was done by GC using Nitrogen Phosphorous Detector with DB-608, a moderate polarity column under the temperature-rising condition. The standard calibration curve presented the linearity of correlation coefficient ($r^2$)>0.9999, analyzed from 0.2 to 4mg/kg. The limit of quantitation in agricultural commodities showed 0.05 mg/kg. The average recoveries of intra- and inter-day experiments ranged from 70.4 to 103.5% and 70.3 to 105.6%, respectively. The repeatability and reproducibility for intra- and inter-day measurements expressed as a relative standard deviation (RSD) was less than 10.7 and 8.3%, respectively. Therefore, our newly established analytical method for BAP residue in agricultural commodities was applicable to the nation-wide pesticide residues monitoring program with the acceptable level of sensitivity, repeatability and reproducibility.

전파 신호 방향의 추정은 레이더 및 무선 통신에서 주요한 분야이다. 일반적으로 방향 탐지기법들은 이상적인 배열 센서의 입력 신호에 신호 처리 기법을 적용하여 연구를 진행해 왔다. 하지만 전파를 이용한 방향 탐지에서 사용되는 배열 센서인 안테나는 배열 구조에서 안테나 소자 간에 상호 결합으로 인한 입력 신호의 왜곡 현상이 발생하는 문제점이 있다. 그러므로 이러한 상호 결합에 의한 신호의 왜곡 현상을 보상하는 기법이 정밀한 방향 탐지를 위해서 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 다이폴 배열 안테나 구조에서 배열 소자 간의 상호 결합 현상을 MoM 기법을 이용하여 보상하고, 이를 통하여 신호원의 방위각 및 고각의 방향을 추정하는 연구를 진행하였다. Direction estimation of signal of interest has been an important issue in radar and communication system. Generally, DOA(Direction Of Arrival) methods have been researched in the field of signal processing with ideal array sensors. However, there are some problems in array antennas such as the input signal distortions in amplitude and phase, due to the mutual coupling between array elements. In this paper, we propose a new method of DOA estimation in the dipole array antenna by using the method of moment(MoM) to compensate the mutual coupling effects between array antenna elements. Also, the proposed method is applied to the estimation of azimuth(Φ) and elevation(θ) angles using uniformly linear dipole array under noisy environments.
