        A Study on the Regulation of Clean Beauty Cosmetic Related Recognition and Consumer Responsibility Related Perception in the Relationship between Generation MZ's Environmental Awareness and Clean Beauty Cosmetic Repurchase Behavior

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine and understand the structural relationship between envi-ronmental awareness level, clean beauty cosmetics awareness, and repurchase behavior among Generation MZ, and investigate the regulating effect of consumer responsibility perception. Recently, as the consumers' interest in environmental protection has grown, it was intended to help the development of new products of clean beauty and the development of the cosmetics market, which is emerging as a new trend, thereby providing the basic data to consumers and fans of future marketing strategies. Method: For the subject of this study, it was intended to use the SPSS 25.0, AMOS 22.0 program for 523 copies of online questionnaires in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon areas and non-metropolitan area to verify the research question for Generation MZ who have purchased clean beauty cosmetics at least once and analyzed them. The exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis were performed to secure the validity and reliability of the scale, and the Pearson correlation analysis was performed to confirm the correlation between major variables. The regulating effect analysis was performed through path analysis, and a multi-group comparative path analy-sis was performed to confirm the regulating effect. Results: As a result of the analysis performed, the level of environmental awareness had a positively signifi-cant effect on the perception of clean beauty cosmetics( =.492, p<.001) and intention to repurchase( =.086, p<.05), while the clean beauty cosmetic perception also had a positively significant effect on the repurchase be-havior and intention( =.651, p<.001). That is, the higher the level of environmental awareness, the higher the level of awareness and repurchase behavior for clean beauty cosmetics. In particular, the level of environmental awareness was found to be a factor that can increase the intention to repurchase by raising the level of aware-ness of clean beauty cosmetics. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it turned out that the higher the environmental awareness level, the higher the level of awareness of clean beauty cosmetics or the level of repurchase behavior. It is meaningful for identifying the preferences of Generation MZ in the clean beauty cosmetics market, which has been gradually expanding since COVID-19, and presenting products and effective marketing strategies accordingly.

        Executive function, a cognitive ability closely related to the core deficit areas of autism spectrum disorders, necessitates a thorough understanding of every child’s profile and provision of appropriate support. This study aimed to review the latest research trends and analyze the interventions targeting the enhancement of executive function in children with autism spectrum disorders. In accordance with the criteria, a total of 29 experimental studies were selected. An overview of general characteristics and a detailed analysis of specific intervention attributes were conducted. Executive function intervention studies among children with autism spectrum disorders have been underway since 2004, mostly in the fields of psychology and psychiatry, targeting primary school-aged children with high functioning autism spectrum disorders. The most used interventions were cognitive behavioral/instructional strategies (CBIS) and exercise and movement (EXM). Notably, a high proportion of interventions were used to facilitate flexibility and inhibition subcategories of the executive function. Based on the findings, the future directions and educational implications regarding intervention aimed at enhancing executive function in children with autism spectrum disorders were discussed.

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to survey the visitation conditions in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and to evaluate parents’ anxiety and nurses’ attitude about the open visitation policy. Methods: One group pre-posttest design was used. After the approval of the institutional review board was obtained, 22 parents and 58 nurses in the NICU participated in the survey between January and February in 2014.The visitation conditions were the number of patients who had visitors in the NICU for a whole day, total visitation hours, mean visitation hours and total number of visitation in a day. Before and after the open visitations were applied, the anxiety level of the patients and attitudes of the nurses were measured. Results: After the open visitation, all visitation conditions significantly increased. Parents’ anxiety score also significantly decreased after experiencing the open visitation (p=.023). However, nurses’ attitude was not different (p=.851). Conclusion: The open visitation can relive parents’ anxiety in the NICU but still nurses have some conflicts for applying the open visitation. It is necessary to prepare environmental infrastructure and educate nurses and parents to activate the open visitation in the NICU.

        An integrated systems biology approach identifies positive cofactor 4 as a factor that increases reprogramming efficiency

        <P>Spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs) can spontaneously dedifferentiate into embryonic stem cell (ESC)-like cells, which are designated as multipotent SSCs (mSSCs), without ectopic expression of reprogramming factors. Interestingly, SSCs express key pluripotency genes such as <I>Oct4, Sox2, Klf4</I> and <I>Myc</I>. Therefore, molecular dissection of mSSC reprogramming may provide clues about novel endogenous reprogramming or pluripotency regulatory factors. Our comparative transcriptome analysis of mSSCs and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) suggests that they have similar pluripotency states but are reprogrammed via different transcriptional pathways. We identified 53 genes as putative pluripotency regulatory factors using an integrated systems biology approach. We demonstrated a selected candidate, <I>Positive cofactor 4</I> (<I>Pc4</I>), can enhance the efficiency of somatic cell reprogramming by promoting and maintaining transcriptional activity of the key reprograming factors. These results suggest that <I>Pc4</I> has an important role in inducing spontaneous somatic cell reprogramming via up-regulation of key pluripotency genes.</P>

        Statistical process control analysis for patient quality assurance of intensity modulated radiation therapy

        <P>This study applied statistical process control to set and verify the quality assurances (QA) tolerance standard for our hospital's characteristics with the criteria standards that are applied to all the treatment sites with this analysis. Gamma test factor of delivery quality assurances (DQA) was based on 3%/3 mm. Head and neck, breast, prostate cases of intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) or volumetric arc radiation therapy (VMAT) were selected for the analysis of the QA treatment sites. The numbers of data used in the analysis were 73 and 68 for head and neck patients. Prostate and breast were 49 and 152 by MapCHECK and ArcCHECK respectively. C (p) value of head and neck and prostate QA were above 1.0, C (pml) is 1.53 and 1.71 respectively, which is close to the target value of 100%. C (pml) value of breast (IMRT) was 1.67, data values are close to the target value of 95%. But value of was 0.90, which means that the data values are widely distributed. C (p) and C (pml) of breast VMAT QA were respectively 1.07 and 2.10. This suggests that the VMAT QA has better process capability than the IMRT QA. Consequently, we should pay more attention to planning and QA before treatment for breast Radiotherapy.</P>

        Impact of Diethyl Ether Dripping Delay Time on the Electronic Structure of Methylammonium Lead Triiodide Perovskite Film

        Recently, organolead halide perovskites have demonstrated excellent performance in solar cell application. For efficient perovskite solar cells, a uniform and dense perovskite film should be fabricated. A popular method to obtain such film is anti-solvent dripping during the intermediate phase formation. This dripping should be performed at the certain delay time after the spin start. The change in delay time could impact defect formation, significantly varying the electronic structure. The electronic structure of a perovskite film plays a crucial role in the charge transport and recombination in the devices. Thus, the determination of the electronic structure is of major significance to analyze the device performance. In this study, we investigated the electronic structure of methylammonium lead triiodide films fabricated with the different delay time of diethyl ether (DE) dripping. The core level and the valence band were measured using X-ray and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy. As the DE dripping delay time increases, the I/N ratio increases while the work function decreases. This would be attributed to the n-doping effect by the positively charged I-interstitial defect formation.

        Prenatal diagnosis of an unbalanced translocation between chromosome Y and chromosome 15 in a female fetus

        We report the prenatal diagnosis of an unbalanced translocation between chromosome Y and chromosome 15 in a female fetus. Cytogenetic analysis of parental chromosomes revealed that the mother had a normal 46,XX karyotype, whereas the father exhibited a 46,XY,der(15)t(Y;15) karyotype. We performed cytogenetic analysis of the father's family as a result of the father and confirmed the same karyotype in his mother and brother. Fluorescence in situ hybridization and quantitative fluorescent-polymerase chain reaction analysis identified the breakpoint and demonstrated the absence of the SRY gene in female members. Thus, the proband inherited this translocation from the father and grandmother. This makes the prediction of the fetal phenotype possible through assessing the grandmother. Therefore, we suggest that conventional cytogenetic and molecular cytogenetic methods, in combination with family history, provide informative results for prenatal diagnosis and prenatal genetic counseling.

      • A case of maternal uniparental disomy of chromosome 20 detected during 1,000 high risk Korean NIPT

        Chromosomal loss in trisomy to generate a disomic fetus can cause confined placental mosaicism and/or fetoplacental mosaicism. After trisomy rescue event, there is a risk of fetal uniparental disomy (UPD). The phenotypic consequences of UPD for several chromosomes are still unknown or poorly understood. In this study, we performed whole genome sequencing based NIPT (G-NIPTä) in 1,000 high risk Korean pregnancies and we have detected five cases of other chromosomal trisomies except chromosomes 21, 18 and 13. Chromosomes involved were 7 (1case), 8 (1 case), 16 (1 case) and 20 (2 cases). All three trisomy cases involving chromosomes 7 and 20 were investigated invasively for the presence of UPD. One case of trisomy 7 and one case of trisomy 20 showed normal karyotype at amniocentesis, respectively. However, 1 case of trisomy 20 revealed to have low level of mosaicism of trisomy 20 (47,XX,+20[2]/46,XX[40]) at amniocentesis. To rule out UPD, we performed chromosomal microarray from both amniotic fluid and maternal gDNA in all the three cases. We found 30Mb homozygosity spanning the centeromere in amniocentesis of the low level mosaic 20 case. This finding suggests nondisjunction error happened at meiosis. Then, by comparing all the SNPs of involved chromosomes between mother and fetus, maternal or paternal UPD can be decided. The low level mosaic 20 case can be diagnosed to have maternal UPD 20 and others didn't show any UPD pattern. Recently, maternal UPD 20 has been suggested as a new imprinting disorder with intrauterine growth restriction, short stature and prominent feeding difficulties with failure to thrive. To best of our knowledge, two cases of UPD were detected by following discordant NIPT and invasive testing which were a case of UPD 21 and a case of UPD 15 with fetal mosaicism. From this study, we showed the potential use of NIPT for the detection of UPD, especially when the trisomies of specific chromosomes with imprinting syndromes are detected by NIPT.
