Objectives : The purpose of this study is to explore the trends of Korean medical study on stress in the industrial worker. Methods : We received numbers of the studies about stress in the industrial worker from 6 Korean web databases, using key words such as ‘Industry AND Stress’, ‘Oriental medicine AND Stress’, ‘Worker AND Stress’, ‘Workplace AND Stress’. We received 12 research papers and they were analyzed and the journals, the authors, the contents of 3 classification of those research papers. Results : Among them, we had 6 reviews of Dept. of preventive medicine and Dept. of third medicine, college of Korean Medicine, Won-kwang University, and the rest of them were 6 reviews. We had 4 reviews of Korean Journal of Oriental Preventive Medical Society, 2 reviews of the Journal of Traditional Korean Medicine, 2 reviews of Journal of Oriental Neuropsychiatry and so on. According to the contents of reviews, we had 7 reviews of correlation of industrial worker and stress, 4 reviews of cause on the industrial worker’s stress and 1 case report. Conclusions : We reviewed the trends of Korean medical study on stress in the industrial worker. The stress in the industrial workers were related with the type of occupation, social psychology, drinking, smoking, the satisfaction of job, the harmony of organization. And we knew that the musculoskeletal pain was related to the industrial worker’s stress. In the future, abundant case studies, follow-up trials and RCTs should be done about the industrial worker’s stress.

Measurement of Sleep and Understanding of Sleep Apnea in Video
Seong-Yoon Shin,Sang-Won Lee 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.10 No.7
A person sleeps a third of his or her life, which means that a person sleeps seven or eight hours a day. However, many people suffer from disturbed sleep. In this paper, we try to segment a video into shots using the method of Bhattacharyya Distance. After analyzing these segmented shots, we decide a movement during sleep. We also try to record all the breath from the beginning of the sleep to the ending of the sleep. In the recorded voice, we extract a part of sleep apnea and a part of heavy panting. Sleep apnea is a phenomenon wherein breath stops from 30 seconds to 1 minute and 30 seconds while sleeping. This phenomenon has been known to kill a person from time to time. This sleep apnea causes abrupt heavy panting after no breathing over a period of time. We expect that our research will pave the road to efficiently and effectively judging sleep apnea without specific equipment.

Mycobacterium shinjukuense is a novel species of nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) that was first reported in Japan in 2011. It is a slow-growing NTM pathogen that can cause chronic pulmonary infections. There are only a few reported cases of M. shinjukuense infections, all of which are from Japan. We reported a case of chronic lung disease caused by M. shinjukuense. The organism was identified by 16S rRNA, rpoB, and hsp65 gene sequencing. To the best of our knowledge, this was the first confirmed case of lung disease caused by M. shinjukuense outside of Japan.

Mucormycosis generally presents as an acute infection manifesting in rhinocerebral, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, cutaneous, or disseminated forms. Fungal invasion to the arteries can reduce blood supply by thrombi formation inside the blood vessels, leading to necrosis. Fungal infection usually initiates in the upper turbinate, paranasal sinus, or less commonly in the palate or pharynx. Here we report an unusual case of mucormycosis in the maxilla of a 75-year-old man and present a review of the literature.

<P>The main components of the mitochondrial genome of the marine polychaete, <I>Perinereis nuntia</I>, were initially obtained from the assembled expressed sequence tags by GS-FLX sequencer. After several cycles of polymerase chain reaction with genomic DNA, the complete mitochondrial genome of <I>P. nuntia</I> was obtained with 15,817 bp in length including 13 protein-coding genes (<I>PCG</I>s), two <I>rRNA</I> genes, and 22 <I>tRNA</I> genes with the same contents and order as shown in previous studies on other annelids. Some <I>PCG</I>s shared nucleotides with neighboring genes, and all 13 <I>PCG</I>s started with ATG as a start codon. The base composition of the mitochondrial genome of the polychaete, <I>P. nuntia</I>, showed high A+T (65.1%) and strong anti-G bias in their 3rd position (7.09%) of 13 <I>PCG</I>s.</P>

Florid cemento-osseous dysplasia (FCOD) is a fibro-osseous lesion that characteristically affects the jaw bones of multi-quadrant radiopaque cementum-like masses. FCOD is a rare condition affecting jaw bones and is diagnosed principally by its characteristic clinico-radiological features. As the condition remains asymptomatic, no surgical treatment is required. However, surgical trauma in the form of a biopsy, tooth extraction, or poor fitting dentures can lead to a chronically draining site that does not heal and can progress to osteomyelitis. Treatment of osteomyelitis depends on appropriate antibiotic therapy and often requires surgical removal of infected and necrotic tissue. This paper reports a rare case of FCOD affecting mandible with osteomyelitis.
