Doctor blade is the method for getting the FGM by the steps of making slurry and stacking, drying, de-greasing, pressing sintering method after adding binder, deflocculant, plasticizer as the additives and ethyl alcohol as the solvent to the powder material. In this experiment, a study on the development of manufacture of FGM, we tried to magnify the size of FGM on the basis of spray stacking method, sintering method and powder stacking method.

Generally, main problem of heterogeneous materials, composed with metal/ceramics, is wide difference of thermal expansion that exists in layers between metal and ceramics. So new materials are developing, so called FGM(Functionally Gradient Materials), that has relaxation of thermal stress and thermal barrier effect.

In English, a focused word with new information receives a pitch accent. This paper examines how English native speakers and Korean speakers produce and perceive focus in English yes-no questions. The production experiments show that native speakers realize an appropriate intonation of yes-no questions, in which a focused word has a low pitch accent followed by a high phrasal accent and a high boundary tone. However, Korean speakers usually give a high tone to a focused word. In a like manner, the perception experiments show that English native speakers judge a word with a low tone to be focused, while Korean speakers have difficulty in comprehending a focused word realized as a low tone. And it is found that Korean speakers tend to perceive low tones on sentence initial and final focused words better than those on sentence medial focused words, and they often perceive a word with a relatively high fundamental frequency or a sharp rise of fundamental frequency as a focused word. This paper shows that Korean speakers have trouble to produce and perceive an appropriate tonal pattern of a focused yes-no question, and that can cause confusion in a conversation with native speakers.
혈부축어탕의 고지혈증 유발 생쥐 신장내 지방 축적 감소효과

Renal tissues of ICR mouse were intraperitoneally injected with Hyulboochucketang(HCE;1.28g/kg/day) after Triton WR-1339(TX;600mg/kg) injection were observed to investigate the lipid accumulation suppressive effect of HCE. The renal tissues were obtained at hour 24,48 and 72 after TX injection that were fixed in fromol-calcium solution and were cryocut. The tissue stained by H&E for general morphology, sudan black B for lipid and perchloric acid-naphthoquinone method for cholesterol. The parietal layer of Bowman's capsule is swelled as cuboidal type at hour 48 after TX injection and the lipid blot and cholesterol particle were noticeably increased in glomerulus than control group. But the parietal layer of Bowman's capsule in HCE treated group was shaped as squamous type that was looked like as normal morphology and the lipid blot and cholesterol particle w3ere considerably decreased in glomerulus than TX group. As results indicated that the accumulation of lipid including cholesterol caused by TX injection were mitigated in renal tissues by the antihyperlipidermic effect of HCE.
君笭湯이 장기 알콜투여로 손상된 생쥐 간조직 회복에 미치는 영향

Long-term alcohol consumption have significant harmful effects as fatty liver, hepatitis, and cirrhosis on the hepatic tissues. After voluntary administration of 8% alcohol(18.67㎖/kg/day) for 120 days, the hepatic tissues of ICR mice were daministered with Kunryeongtang extract(KRE;1.24g/kg/day) were observed to investigate the repaire effects of KRE for hepatic damages that caused by chronic alcohol administration. In chronic alcohol administered group, the vacuolation such as fat accumulation(steatosis) were increased in cytoplasm, the destructive configuration of liver plates were shown in necrotic lesion. These regions are aggregation of inflammatory component cell as lymphocytes, neutrophil leucocytes and Kuffer's cell. These hepatic damages were aggravated with time course. In KRE treated group, the decreased of vacuolation and normal construction of liver plates were appeared. These results indicated that the KRE work on the repair of hepatic damages induced chronic alcohol administration.
화상을 입힌 생쥐의 흉선과 비장 임파구아형과 조직학적 소견의 변화

Due to various documented abnormalities of cell mediated immunity, sepsis still remains the major cause of morbidity and mortality after initial survival from extensive thermal burn. However, the exact mechanisms of immunosuppression after extensive thermal burn remains uncertain. For th observation of immune state, changes of lymphocyte subpopulation have been usually measured in lymphocyte samples from peripheral blood by many reports, but it is only a small fraction of the total lymphocyte pool in the body, and may not present valid picture of the immunological state of the individual. Therefore, analysis of lymphocyte phenotype in thymus and spleen is thought to be necessary in understanding more exact mechanism of immunological changes in extensive thermal burn. The aim of this study is to evaluate the changes of immunocompetency by observing the changes of subpopulation of spleen and thymus lymphocyte using monoclolnal antibodies and changes of tissue with light microscope in burned mice. Cell populations were isolated from spleen and thymus of control and burned mice on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 14th and 21st postburn days(PBD). The cell populations were measured with monoclonal antibody by flow cytometry. The results were as follows: 1.In thymus, Thy 1.2+, L3T4+ and LYt2+ cells decreased markedly on the 3rd PBD. Thy 1.2+ and L3T4+ cells decreased also on 5th, 7th, 14th PBD and returned to control level on 21st PBD, but Lyt2+ cells increased more significantly than control after 3rd PBD and returned to normal on 21st PBD. Qa2+ cells revealed most significant reduction on 7th PBD. 2.In spleen, Thy 1.2+, L3T4+ and Ia+ cells increased on 3rd PBD and then decreased on 7th and 14th PBD. Lyt2+ cells increased in all the burned groups. Qa2+ cells increased on 3rd, 5th PBD and returned to normal level. L3T4+ cell/Lyt2+ cell ratio revealed signicant reduction, but they recovered by the 21st PBD. 3.In histopathologic findings of the spleen & thymus, the all cell subpoulations decreased at 1st PBD, but more increased than that of group of 3rd PBD. And then they revealed normal architecture after 5th PBD.
